Of course, if anyone would donate money, I hope they'd give it on the condition that the movie and theme park would actually be done, and monitor the progress. Because the Tesch parents seem to be the type who just might mysteriously blow the money on marginally related stuff and then claim that seeing the bottom of the bank account once again came as a total surprise, whoops, anyone have any more money to donate? Heck, they probably went to Indiegogo because people have started to cry blood when Kickstarter projects get funded and won't get off the ground. They might get to keep the Indiegogo donations even when the film won't get funded and there's not as many pesky rules on the way.

Haha glad to know I wasn't the only one who thought of this :P either a misspelling or some kind of country named after him (maybe Argentina should change their name to Maradonia, since they love him so much).

But I digress. Yeah, everything about this is just awful, and the fact she seems to be so delusional about her actual skills is kinda sad, really. Sheltering parents can really ruin a kid.

For some reason, whenever I read the word Maradonia I initially interpret it as Mandalorian. I think that there is the potential for a Crossover/Crack Fic there.

Even the worst Star Wars Expanded Universe novel was professionally edited, proofread and typeset.
 
I've never read a Maradonia book in its entirety but I've read the previews available on Amazon and good fucking god. The introduction/author's notes at the beginning of each book is one of the most blatant cases of self-cocksucking I've ever seen with the way she describes her own books.

When I was a teenager I liked writing too but I was not vain enough to try to get it published (nor did I have parents like Mr and Mrs. Tesch) I am now a published author, but that didn't happen till I was mature enough to understand the value of...

- editing by yourself at least a couple of times
- having others edit (fresh pair of eyes)
- proper grammar
- proper spelling
- a coherent story
- consistent characterization
- research
- last but most certainly not least, willingness to listen to constructive criticism and use it
 
The Radio interview good god, those DJ I sure they were paid off well. I think she may be able to make it as a model and the movie look worst then stuff people put on youtube

Hah, "anonymous" pledges. Conjugal Felicity had a screenshot of that thing earlier, and the pledges were from a mysterious user called "Gloria Tesch". They've all suddenly been changed to "Anonymous" now. (Apparently she did the same sort of thing in some question site too, filing anonymous questions and answering them. The site got changed and it revealed the real names. Oops.) I bet the rest of them came from Tesch too. Wonder if the "Imcampagna" fellow is a sockpuppet too.

Thinking of making a $3 pledge. (Because the trailer is so awesome that I really think they should not only make the film, but also two sequels. So don't spend it all at once!)

I'm not surprised, Gloria heavily relies on sockpuppets to push her shit. You would think that by now she would get the message that 'no, your books need a LOT more work before people take you seriously!!!'
 
"Page of Excellence"? That's the "thank you" page Ashens is setting up regarding his film contributors. Except it actually makes sence for Ashens to have a "page of excellence" because of the meme... Why did she call it that? And why did anyone pledge any money to fuel this spoilt girls stupid dream?

He actually decided to look up a terrible author and pities her for being trolled? I'm pretty sure Gloria was never trolled. I know she had gotten in a fight with someone, but I don't think she was trolled. I do wonder if she googles her own name. She really would come across the truth of her being a horrible author.
