The woman on Newsnight wouldn't let him get a word in edgeways. That seems to be Newsnight's preferred interviewing style, they all think they're the next Jeremy Pacman.

He came across much better on the radio - "the word woman is taken". Preach it brother.
 
That programme was a breath of fresh air, I didn't think any critical analysis of the trans agenda was allowed on the BBC any more, and it is vanishingly rare to hear any civil discussion about these issues.

Also pleasantly surprised to hear Linehan's contribution, although his claim at the start that he was trolling the Newsnight interviewer because they were too aggressive was cringeworthy. Newsnight was never going to be an easy interview, if you're not prepared for that then don't go on. I guess he's seen The Thick of It because it was a great tribute to the Ben Swain Newsnight shitshow.

Years ago he used to feature on 'Jon Ronson on...' also on radio 4 and he would share these sardonic anecdotes on the week's particular theme. He was good at seeing the funny part of humdrum or serious things. Unbelievable to think that is the same guy who is so fucking humourless in his social media crusades and instead of stepping back to get some perspective just keeps ramming his head further into it.

He is and 'Toast of London' is a brilliant series, but it also never attracted the mainstream following that matthews work with Linehan did. For a time Linehan had the Midas touch and everything he was involved with (as a writer) was a success.

Graham is still trading professionally. European Commission Database of VAT Registrations brings up this public domain information. Anyone can access this database at https://europa.eu/youreurope/business/taxation/vat/check-vat-number-vies/index_en.htm

For those outside of the EU or Britbong land VAT is basically like a state or city sales tax. Varies throughout Europe but in UK it is 20% and this means Glinner can claim back the tax on anything he buys for his “business”. Though how he has anytime to work and make money is a mystery given his obsessive sperging about troons.
