Not liking trannies seems to be a common belief among middle class white women, presumably because it allows men to get a slice of that sweet oppression. Glinner might not be a woman (though he’s halfway there) but chances are he’s hung around a lot of people of that demographic; left-leaning mainstream journos seem to be TERFs a lot of the time.

I feel like there's some sort of profound life lesson lurking here. Something in the fact that the same person can turn out the messy wit and good-natured creativity of "Father Ted" or "The IT Crowd," but can also become hopelessly addicted to rigid, boring, masturbatory screeching. There's also something morbidly fascinating about this, like watching someone who used to be physically beautiful become incredibly fat and unkempt.
 
Oh wow, Henry Gilbert? I haven't heard that name in some time. He's a former GamesRadar disgrace who teamed up with his buddies to make a failed Podcast and a dead Youtube channel. Not sure if he necessitates a thread but who knows, he's a big doofus.
More info: One of Henry's buddies on the podcast was Tyler Wilde, executive editor of PC Gamer, and he was proudly flaunting his romantic relationship with Ann Lewis, Ubisoft PR employee. This information was public for months until Gamergate happened and people started asking why Tyler was writing positive articles for Ubisoft games without disclosing his romantic involvement with an Ubisoft employee. Henry, Tyler, and a third idiot, Chris Antista, reacted by parroting the "gamers are dead" mantra as a way to deflect from their total lack of integrity, so it's especially funny for Henry to be called a Gamergater today.

I’ll give Glinner his due, I think he wrote the shows and at one point was an excellent sitcom writer. But he’s a narcissist who wanted more attention, and when twitter came around it turned him into a figure in his own right. As a result he dedicates all his time to the thing that gets him attention, and made his writing lazy and mediocre at best.

Twitter is both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand it gives a public voice to autistic narcissist weirdos so we can laugh at them. On the other hand, it’s destroying political discourse and creating an economy for ebegging for narcissists in many cases for just having a pretty face or a sad story.

He might have legitimately meant that at first, but being dogpiled by insane troons has changed his mind and now he views them as complete and absolute shit.
