I remember seeing him being interviewed for a British TV show (Screenwipe: writer's special) many years ago and he came off quite humble, self deprecating and honest. That's my main memory of him as a person so watching his twitter in recent years was pretty weird and funny. Mainly funny.

I've read she posted someone's phone number...so yep, exactly the kind of muh harassment, doxxxing is bad shit they've been peddling for years now. I'm guessing Graham just sees this as a good opportunity to make himself look righteous for leaving when really he's lost the SJ game once he was branded transphobic.

Right! Have been thinking about it for a while, but I’m going to deactivate my Twitter account. With Twitter such a cesspool, the least I can do is rob @jack and @biz of one blue tick. I can’t be complicit anymore.
Primary reason is Twitter’s refusal to suspend Donald Trump for his North Korea threat. This was so obviously a violation of their own ToS and they didn’t suspend his account or even try to delete it. Meanwhile, the toilet denizens that brought us every harassment campaign of the last few years have been gaming Twitter’s algorithms in order to ban people for telling verified Nazis to go fuck themselves.

And that’s the next reason. Not just Nazis but VERIFIED NAZIS. Richard Spencer who recently was seen seig heiling his little heart out and he’s given a blue tick like he’s Gwyneth Paltrow. Well, if people like him and Pizzagate lie-peddler Cernovich have a blue tick, I don’t want one. I don’t want to be a part of that club.
(Note To Twitter: Cernovich uses Periscope to smear people and then deletes the evidence. If I know that, how come you don’t? And if you do know that, how on earth is he still active on your site, let alone verified?)
Apparently, we verified accounts get a 12 month period to change our minds after we deactivate. This is Twitter’s very sneaky way of dealing with celebrity flounces. They should ask themselves why people want to leave in the first place.

Does he have any evidence of his shit about Periscope? Probably not.

I could get into Mastodon and it's code and OStatus but there's really no point. He wants an echo chamber. Too bad for him not a lot of people use it. 90k users, 3k instances and no clue how many of those users are bots or how many of those instances are actively used.

It's pretty funny that their preferred social network is called Mastodon. "White whale" would apply to an awful lot of people fond of REEEing on Twitter.

 
Looks like Glinner's back on twitter, though apparently he was never gone. It's quite interesting to watch a destructive addiction unfold before your very eyes.

I'd say in Glinner's case it's even more pathetic. For most of the people who obsess over it Gamergate is their one shot at relevance. It got way more mainstream attention than the average internet slapfight, and suddenly these no-name devs/journos were being reported on as foot soldiers in the fight against online harassment. Gamergate gave them way more publicity than games ever will, and by bringing it up again and again they're hoping they'll get some of that attention back again.

Glinner, meanwhile, has a track record of success in the screenwriting business. His name is attached to three well-respected sitcoms. While his last effort was a flop, I dare say broadcasting companies would be willing to give him another chance. But instead of writing a new show he'd rather sperg on twitter about anything and everything. He's self-destructed his own career because he's so much of a frothing retard he'd rather spend his time raging on the internet than making use of his media influence and contacts.
