My husband tries to tell me that the Atelier series is very feminine but I don't really agree. To my knowledge I've never met another woman who liked them. I can see why they look girly to him, but...the only other people who seem to like them are fellow weeaboo dorks.
Here's the logo design thing of my favorite Atelier for people who've never seen the series before.

Without looking like divershitty quota western indie trash? I wish. I could go for one. I played New Horizons an ungodly amount after 2.0 came out and I finally burnt myself out of it. Now I can't stand how inconvenient it is to craft one by one or only order 5 things at once.
I love this series!

Nancy Drew Shadow Over the Waters Edge is still one of the scariest games I’ve played. Yes I’m a basic bitch and rate me :autistic: but holy shit.
The whole series is honestly worth checking out if you like point and click mysteries.
Shadow at the Water's Edge scared the SHIT out of me when I first played it. I was a big HER Nancy Drew fan and none of the other games had been that scary. Can't believe they got away with that bathroom scene for an E-rated game. I was playing on my laptop in the dark and I remember slamming my laptop shut.

Backed this one and have a couple of their plushies. Looks like Animal Crossing meets Farmville.

Was putting some time into this one before BG3 dominated my gaming attention. It's not "girly" but it's "cozy" which is close enough.

i wouldn't classify this as a 'girly game', in the traditional sense. rather, if you appreciate pretty shirtless buff men, i suggest el shaddai: ascension of the metatron. it's a beautiful game based on the abrahamic religions, which probably sounds lame but i promise you it's really not. that being said the controls can at times be frustrating and so can the platforming in 3d sections.

maybe i'm retarded but i couldn't find a short decent video that shows different environments in the game, so i'll just use the ign review because look at that ART:

by the way, every time your character (enoch) gets hit, he loses pieces of his armor until he becomes shirtless. just saying.

I've heard of this game before. But I don't think it's based on the theology of those religions so much than the lore of their esoteric sects.

Tales of Arise tricked me. I expected to play an edgy swordsmen and ended up with a contemporary tale about premarital Sex and dreamy boyfriend Simulator. Legit an absolutely amazing game and love story tho.

Is that a "girly" game? I saw it on steam and assumed it's something for creepy neckbeards because of the way the character looks.
I get what you mean, I just tended to associate RPGmaker horror with “girly” stuff (even more so this game in particular) because my female friends love it and can’t stop talking about it.

I only ever got to the 2nd area in that game, bad habit I have, but I definitely need to get back to it and Berseria.

OT: I feel The Sims is the ultimate girly game.

(quote is broken again)

-Planning to hack my 3DS tommorrow. Any good games you would recomend? Needs to be either 3DS, DS, or GBA-

Theresia: Dear Emile is a hidden gem. Point and click horror with a really good story.

Castlevania, Aria of Sorrow. Any of the gba metroids. Those are the good gba games i can think of. I don't know if they're girly tho. All the handheld kirby games from the gba onward are pretty great.

I heard Fashion Dreamer was a letdown for fans of Style Savvy. Read online that
  • Organization is severely lacking and the search function was gimped/removed.
  • No more layering base layers and tops except items which are specifically jackets.
  • There's nothing to do but dress up. No boutique, money, requests, or fashion shows.
  • Customizing items is just changing colors, no patterns or emblems or anything.
I was a Style Savvy fan, once I saw this game looked super focused on social media/influencer stuff I kind of thought it would suck. Unfortunate. I was excited when I saw the series was coming back.

It also has that Body Type mental illness even in the Japanese version.

I played the shit out of Style Savvy Trendsetters, but never beat it cus I had fun trying to squeeze every penny from those rich fucks that came in my store with a six-figure budget, but only wanted a pair of socks. Fuck you, Dave. You're getting the B1G1 free socks when you buy a diamond ring.

Yes *sigh* My friend bought it and she told me its not very good.... It doesn't have a story and it has gacha elements and overall feels cheap for such an expensive game. Maybe they will fix some of the problems with the updates but I doubt it.

I for one am glad I didn't buy it.

Can confirm Style Savvy is still super fun though. I've been playing it this week and it's as good as I remembered. 8)
