Did anybody here ever play Kira Kira Pop Princess on the DS? It was a pretty good rhythm game and you could dress your character up too.

The soundtrack has some bangin tunes:

I love the Bratz Gamecube games, I played these on a emulator. Has anyone played more then like 30 mintues of the new Bratz game? I have it downloaded and everything, I only played a little and I don't know. It's not bad, just hasn't kept my attention so I haven't touched it since the first time attempting to play.
Anyway, the Bratz games on the GameCube are amazing and has amazing music that I still listen to today.

I never played the GameCube ones but I played a ton of Forever Diamondz on the PS2 back in the day. I’m pretty sure its the same on Gamecube as it is on PS2 though.

Anyone tried Bear and Breakfast? It looks really cute but I'm still on the fence about it.
Super late, really late in fact, but the game is real good. The animals have stomach-achingly cute animations and designs, it has a bit of a learning curve figuring out how to place furniture and put them in the right way to get a decor bonus, but besides that it's very chill and atmospheric. I played the PC version but i'm sure it'd be much cozier on Switch. The story does get a little dark near the end with some animal death (because all the characters are animals) but nothing too heavy. They put a lot into it though!

Also, different game and not at all the same but not sure if anyone's brought it up but I thoroughly enjoyed Farm Together. It's a great farming sim for kids (..or adults who just hate time management and that stress). There's no repercussions, crops never die, day/night cycle is irrelevant because there's no energy bar, it's just colorful and cute farming, lots of animals and crops, but without all the bullshit. Literally no story, just farming. I wouldn't pay full price for it ($20) but if it's on sale for half off, it's totally worth trying.

Nancy Drew Shadow Over the Waters Edge is still one of the scariest games I’ve played. Yes I’m a basic bitch and rate me :autistic: but holy shit.
The whole series is honestly worth checking out if you like point and click mysteries.

I remember playing Nancy Drew: The Haunted Carousel when I was a kid. I could never get through it -- the carousel would start moving and I was out. 😅

A quick search says that some of those games on are Steam now. I might pick them up and try again.

Do it when they’re on sale! A lot of the games are very clunky, but for a couple dollars they’re a lot of fun!

Thank you for the reminder. I still need to get through Breath of the Wild. I'm slow.

Lately I've been playing Kirby and the Forgotten Land and it's pretty fun! I feel that mouthful mode breaks canon a little, but I greatly enjoy driving around as a car.

It's not girly in the same way that some other games I like are, but I love House Flipper and have hundreds of hours in it. It's eurojank and wish it had co-op but I enjoy it nevertheless.

These two screens are from an old save doing the first house you get. Wish I had better ones on hand but can't find em.

Last one is from my current house, which has a small greenhouse in the middle.

I played around with dollmakers a lot as a kid. There was a particular one I liked--the name is on the tip of my tongue. If I find it and it still exists I'll post a link here.

One of my fave parts of my modded DFU game is buying and decorating houses and ships, and being able to set anything as a container ( like a stack of papers or a curio cabinet with potions in it) is great for sorting loot and items in a way that makes sense.

If you get really into decorating and have a couple good mods (Thunderstore is great for this), Valheim is also awesome. I have made several comfy houses and small towns in it.

First build is in a meadow at the base of a mountain. We called this base "Höger-Testikel" for laughs.

Second build is from an abandoned tower in the Mistlands, fixed up and decorated

I put a fair few hours into Homestead Arcana. It's a pretty cute farming sim with a cozy "garden witch" aesthetic. It was a little buggy when I played through it, but overall it had a lot of fun clothing options and items to decorate your farm with. I'd definitely recommend it.

Edit: Tried to upload the image for it, but TOR.
