Jeffrey was "a sick pedophile" but Ghislaine was the mastermind - [a]
Ghislaine Maxwell [born 25 December 1961 in Maisons-Laffitte, France] is a British socialite known mostly for her association with Jeffrey Epstein who committed suicide under mysterious circumstances while in federal custody August 10, 2019 .[former Attorney General William Barr described Epstein's death as "a perfect storm of screw-ups."] The courts dismissed all charges against Epstein on August 29, 2019.As a result, the sex-trafficking investigations and media attention shifted attention to his alleged associates, like Brunel, Prince Andrew, and Ghislaine Maxwell. At this point it was known she recruited young girls for Epstein and his associates and even partook in some of the abuse of the girls in question.
Because of her connections in London's elite and Epstein's confidant she was frequently seen with people holding positions of power or prominence , some who frequented the "Lolita express'' or Little St. James island

The pair were first introduced in 1989 by her father [British newspaper magnate Robert Maxwell, who embezzled hundreds of millions of dollars from the pension funds of his employees, and then drowned, in 1991, under murky circumstances, off the coast of the Canary Islands] Jeffrey and Robert had a long business relationship by then, Epstein appreciated that it gave him some legitimacy among the English upper class being seen with Ghislaine, as he was unknown at the time. After the death of her father, Maxwell flees to New York, where she falls in love with Epstein becoming his girlfriend, employee, partner and alleged madame in his sex trafficking scheme. ‘Chasing Ghislaine’ doc reveals Maxwell’s daddy issues with Jeffrey Epstein. When former boyfriend Epstein once walked into his East Side office at the posh Villard Houses with a young woman and the two ducked into a separate room, Maxwell looked the other way.
House of Cards
She leaves Epstein in order to separate herself from his crimes In her unsealed deposition, Giuffre said that Maxwell: “Trained me as a sex slave.” [a]

On July 2, 2020, almost a year after Epstein was arrested, the FBI arrest Ghislaine
When F.B.I. agents went to arrest Ghislaine Maxwell on the morning of July 2 on a remote property in New Hampshire, they broke through her locked gate, approached the front door and announced themselves, telling her to open the door, federal prosecutors said in newly filed court papers on Monday. Through a window, the agents saw her ignore their order and flee to another room in the house, quickly shutting the door behind her, the prosecutors wrote. [a]
She is charged for her alleged role in the sexual exploitation and abuse of young girls by Epstein.

QAnon disrupts the January 2021 court hearing by streaming it live on Youtube [a]
“Whoever is doing it, you are operating against the law,” Preska [presiding judge] said of this stream, which attracted 14,000 listeners. “I suspect there is a way to find out. So I will ask you, most respectfully, to stop doing it.”
The stream was shut down shortly thereafter.
During a hearing in April, she enters her plea to sex trafficking conspiracy and an additional sex trafficking charge that were added in a rewritten indictment released in March by a Manhattan federal court grand jury.
In July she has pleaded not guilty and has not been convicted, her trial is set for November 2021, she has been unsuccessfully trying to bail out since .

Ghislaine filed two subsequent unsuccessful bail requests, in which she indicated that she is married — which was not previously known — and offered more details on her finances. She proposed a bail package worth $28.5 million in assets belonging to her and her family and friends — and proposed that she would stay in a New York residence. She also offered to renounce her foreign citizenship. The prosecutors denied her offers, she is currently in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, where her lawyers have complained that she is being held under "uniquely onerous conditions" and subjected to round-the-clock surveillance and body scans , [perhaps they worry she might Epstein herself as well.]

He's fucked. They've done everything possible to get him out of it, pulled every string, greased every palm, but it's reached the point where any further interference is going to end up a matter of record. Now they've cut ties in case he does go down for it, so he doesn't take the whole monarchy down with him.
Good. Goooood. All is proceeding exactly as I have hoped.

Seeing actual justice is like waking up from a long fluoride induced coma, 2022 is shaping up to be kino.

Well, well, well, if the monarchy wasn't already dead once the virgin blood ceases reanimating the queen, it sure is now.

There's no love nor loyalty for em in Bongland outside of that old lass, I can't wait to see the fallout.

Any idea if Maxwell is gonna grass on anyone yet? The Daily Mail is speculating, but I'd prefer a source with at least a bit more accountability, ie here.

Ghislaine Maxwell is scheduled to be sentenced at the end of June,
1642208151638.png

Judge Alison Nathan wrote in a letter Friday that the convicted sex trafficker will be sentenced in Manhattan federal court on June 28 at 11 a.m.
Her attorneys are pushing Judge Nathan to give her a new trial after a juror in the trial revealed in a number of media interviews that he is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse.
The juror, identified as Scotty David, told Reuters that he shared his history with his fellow jurors — and helped convince them that they should convict Maxwell.
It’s unclear if he revealed his history during jury selection. [a]

Maxwell’s attorneys are expected to submit a motion for a new trial in the coming weeks.

I think it's more pre-emptive. They can't have him on trial with all the honours and titles.

It's a civil suit against Andrew isn't it? So the standard is a balance of probabilities. They're going to have to establish Andrew knew or should have expected she was sex trafficked and not consenting of her own free will.

I haven't read specifics on the case but it will be interesting.

The defense will either continue to deny. Which would be a bad strategy. Unless there are some firm grounds to refute the claim.

Or they will have to admit the sex happened. I don't believe it was illegal from an age basis. So hinge on Andrew thinking she was a working prostitute or willing participant. Which will surely have to go into what Epstein was doing and known for with these elites.

They could even go in on Andrew being tricked and blackmailed.

How they defend this will either reveal a lot. Or potentially show him being a fall guy by not properly defending it.

It may always be easier to settle. Which speaks a lot about his titles being stripped. If they properly try and defend it, we would get a lot of information about Epstien. Which is exactly why it won't be properly defended.

Dershowitz claiming that the BBC screwed up because they interviewed him. He claims that he told BBC that he was accused of sexual misconduct by Giuffre and that the BBC apologized for the interview because they don't want to be accused of victim blaming, and don't want to be called commy simps.

He goes on to state that Giuffre wrongfully accused him and other people, and that she took part in grooming. One of the women to testify in the Maxwell trial was 14 when she claims that Giuffre groomed her. It's long and mostly Dershowitz huffing his own farts.

Ghislaine is expected to request retrial today as new film suggests she was Prince Andrew’s lover

Lawyers are poised to submit detailed documents seeking a new trial after a juror said he was a victim of sexual abuse.
The disgraced British socialite’s legal team was reportedly set to file court papers requesting a fresh trial after she was convicted in December on five counts of aiding Jeffrey Epstein sexually abuse girls as young as 14.
Following the trial, juror Scotty David told The Independent that he had been a victim of childhood sexual abuse, and that he had told fellow jurors about his experience.
Maxwell’s lawyers say that he failed to give the court that information when he filled out a juror questionnaire before being picked to serve on the panel. [a]
The rule that a trial judge cannot ask what happened in the jury room could block an attempt by Ms. Maxwell’s lawyers to overturn the verdict. [a]
Prince Andrew likely dated Ghislaine Maxwell, friend and ex-royal guard claim

Prince Andrew may have once dated Ghislaine Maxwell, according to friends and a former royal protection officer who claims Jef frey Epstein’s madam was constantly “in and out” of Buckingham Palace.

Former palace cop Paul Page said in a new documentary that Maxwell became a regular visitor from 2001, the year Andrew and his sex accuser, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, were photographed in Maxwell’s London home.

“From the way she was allowed to enter and exit the palace at will, we realized — suspected — that she may have had an intimate relati onship with Prince Andrew,” Page said.

Royal protection officer Page, meanwhile, also claimed that Andrew was known for having “50 or 60 stuffed toys” on his bed at the palace. “A colleague of mine remembered her coming in four times in one day. She kept coming in and out, in and out,” he told the doc, “Ghislaine, Prince Andrew and the Pedophile,” set to air on Britain’s ITV in full on Tuesday. A banker friend of Maxwell’s who socialized with the now-disgraced group shared the sentiment. [a]

This better not happen. It's hinky the lying juror worked for a CIA front company. I don't understand the play though-- why wouldn't he talk them into not guilty? 🤷‍♀️

She was a PIMP who brought him whores. I don't buy they were lovers, unless they were having a threesome with a teenage girl.

That's a lot of what went on. Giuffre said when she finally said no, both Epstein and Maxwell (as well as others) spent a while raping her as punishment, then she was dumped on her front lawn and told she'd be killed if she talked. So yeah it's known Maxwell was into little girls, too.

A new trial for Ghislaine Maxwell would 'go even worse' for her, victim's lawyer says, claiming more accusers came forward after her sex-trafficking conviction

1642811078161.png

The prospect of a new trial for Ghislaine Maxwell would be frustrating for victims who may be asked to testify again, and to the prosecutors who successfully convicted her on charges of sex-trafficking them to Jeffrey Epstein.

But it wouldn't be the end of the world, according to Brad Edwards, an attorney representing 58 women who have accused Epstein of misconduct.

Since jurors convicted Maxwell in late December, more women have contacted Edwards to say they'd be willing to participate in any investigations into her conduct,

"What has happened since the guilty verdict is more people have come forward, willing to share their stories about Ghislaine and testify," Edwards said. "So I don't think a new trial would go any better for her. In fact, I think it would go worse for her."

Maxwell's attorneys formally filed their motion for a retrial Wednesday night. The motion is under seal, but in previous court filings, they argued that a juror's comments to the media about his own experience with sexual abuse indicate he should have not been seated on the jury in the first place.

Edwards represented one of the four women who testified last month in Maxwell's trial in federal court in Manhattan. The woman, who testified under the pseudonym "Kate," said Maxwell befriended her as a teenager, dangled the possibility that Epstein could help her career with powerful music industry connections, and then introduced her to sexualized massages with Epstein.

It was the beginning of a sexually abusive relationship with Epstein that lasted for years, Kate testified. She said that Maxwell often arranged sexual encounters between her and Epstein, and that she felt fearful about leaving their orbit because they namedropped powerful friends like Prince Andrew and Donald Trump.

US District Judge Alison Nathan, who oversaw the trial, told jurors they could not convict Maxwell based on Kate's testimony about Epstein's sexual misconduct. Kate was at the age of consent in London when Epstein first sexually abused her, so she couldn't be considered one of Maxwell's victims for the purposes of the trial, according to Edwards. But Kate's testimony helped jurors understand that Maxwell used the same playbook over and over again when trafficking young women to Epstein for sex, he explained.
"She provided information about the dynamic between Ghislaine and Jeffrey," Edwards said. "What their life was like together then, and what type of arrangements that Ghislaine was capable of making, the knowledge of what Epstein's intentions were."

A new trial would also mean that prosecutors could present more evidence to convict Maxwell and keep her behind bars for the rest of her life, Edwards said. Maxwell, 60, faces a sentence of up to 65 years. Nathan said she will hold a sentencing hearing this summer if Maxwell is not granted a new trial.

"I'm not ultimately that worried about the end result," Edwards said. "Such is life. You have hurdles." - [a]

CNN has an exclusive about Maxwell and the eight John Does.
It says that Maxwell and Giuffre have until the 26th to respond.

Given that they haven't even realised that Epstein is dead, I'm not sure that's particularly useful.
Who is they and huh?

edit: You mean the people doing the report? Its a partly automated service and someone dead can still be a known associate. I mean sure, more people on that list might be dead I guess?
