For The the past year 2021 and 2022 to takes forever to get anything done on a car. No matter where I take it. Is it just me?

It’s just like the sign says, pick two.
You can have it done quickly, correctly, or cheap. But not all three.

I’m guessing you’re going the correctly and cheap way.

Everything about the car market, from new cars to used cars, has been completely fucked in the ass since corona, and this applies to repairs as well. Mechanic shops and dealerships don't have as many people now. Cash for clunkers and its repeats have also been a total fucking disaster and did 100% the opposite of what was intended.

Yes, it does take forever now. I've also been trying to get my car fixed for months and they kept telling me they were waiting for the parts. It's the ongoing supply chain issues that started around early COVID times; however, the reason(s) why the supply chain is disrupted keep changing as some issues are fixed and new issues arise.
