Antifa Leipzig

Are the leftists beating up each other now?

This is Leipzig: Left-wing extremist Antifa goons are attacking an info booth by students who are critical of Israel. Where is the reporting by @MDR_SN ? #ReformPublicBroadcasting #OerrBlog

[translator's note: unfortunately the post is gone already, so I can't archive the attached video; if someone has it, I'll update this OP accordingly]

So:
  • Antifa is left-wing extremists and randomly beating up people on the street.
  • The Israel opponents are also left-wing extremists and want the elimination of Israel.
  • The Antifa is beating up Israel opponents.
Are they beating up each other now? Or are Antifa people, as always, so stupid that they don't get that antisemitism is now left-wing and not right-wing? Or do they not care because they want violence, no matter the cause?

Well, not that I mind if they beat up each other now. But I'd like to understand it, for the purpose of the blog.

On the other hand... Failed State Leipzig. Maybe that's the answer to the question. Maybe there is no deeper meaning behind this. Maybe just look and hear - and done. Nothing to think about. Maybe you didn't understand Leipzig if you started thinking about it. Maybe it's more of vegetative motive moods, maybe up to the amygdala.

The mutual self-beating-up of the leftists and the right wing extremism of the leftists

A reader explains it to me.

I mentioned that I don't mind if leftists beat each other up, but I'd like to understand it. A reader writes to me:

Hello Mr. Danisch,

the anti-German left (who says eg. "Deutschland verrecke!" [Germany, perish!] or "Bomber Harris, do it again!") supports the racist zionists and the genocide against the Palestinians whereas the anti-imperialist left is on the side of Palestinians:

Ah, so it is.

The TAZ says:

Anti-imperialists against Anti-Germans

Leftist locations under pressure

The war between Israel and Hamas has re-ignited old conflicts in the leftist scene. A dialogue seems almost impossible.

[...]

That's one way of handling the anniversary of the Hamas assault against Israel: "This October is the anniversary of the day when our people has showed the world that the resistance is alive and the liberation is coming closer." This is how a group called Ahrar, which calls itself "Hamburg's Palestinian movement", calls for a protest on October 5. Ahrar supports a "one-state solution" in the Middle East - without an Israeli state. The account "Flora for everyone" wrote under the call for protest: "We're coming."

Hee hee. And those are the people who have equated "right-wing" with "anti-semitic" for decades.

The split of the leftist scene into anti-Germans focused on pro-Israel and anti-imperialist groups focused on pro-Palestine started nationwide at the end of the 1980s and hardly escalated as strongly as in a place like Hamburg. Among murals at the Hafenstraße to a physical fight between editors of the leftist radio station FSK to the violent stopping of a movie premiere by anti-imperialists, the conflict left deep trenches among left-wingers.

But, at some point, even the most recent trench fight is so far back that most people who are active today categorize it as "grandpa tells war stories". Meanwhile, other topics have become more important and built bridges between the left scenes: Queer feminism, climate change, and the recent G20 summit in Hamburg as well as repression are taking center stage. The question "What side are you on in the Middle East conflict?" was demoted from a main fighting point to a secondary fighting point.
[translator's note: emphasis added by Danisch]

Ah, nice. I've always said that brother wars are what's bothering us. Like among national socialists and international socialists, or Sunnis and Shias.

Interesting question: Do queer feminism and climate hysteria serve as an artificial putty, emulsifier, and sedative to help the left wing stick together?

But the conflict in the Middle East and the aggressive pressure to make a statement in parts of the scene has led to some fractures. Thus, it is currently hard to imagine to take the streets together with anti-imperialist groups - even though it would be urgently needed in the face of the rising right wing and repression, the activist says. To some extent, internationalist groups have exited coalitions because they considered the Flora too close to Israel's side. From the point of view of the autonomous, this is unjustified and politically wrong. "Right now, there are so many more important things than dealing with identitarian trench fights", the Flora user says.

[...]

Berlin doesn't have a center that can be compared to an institution like the Rote Flora in Hamburg. But there is still the Middle East conflict showing itself in the leftist scene - daily and violently. A reason is that, in Berlin, there is the biggest diaspora of people with a Palestinian background in Europe. Estimates range around 35,000 and 45,000 people. This has historical reasons: Many immigrated in the 1970s from Lebanon through the GDR. And: Berlin has a large international, leftist and queer community which is partially very strongly in the anti-imperialist camp.

[...]

Many house walls in Berlin have Palestinian flags sprayed on them, or slogans like "Free Gaza", partially appended with "from Hamas", or also "Free Palestine from German bombs". The slogan "Free Palestine from German guilt" caused a public outrage in the past October, meanwhile it is a common graffito.

Oh, and Leipzig?

They got something on Leipzig too:

In Leipzig, the anti-German scene is even stronger than in other large cities of Germany. If an anti-imperialist vibe is kind of given in the leftist scene of Berlin, the tendency is the other way around in Leipzig. On the house walls in the Connewitz district, there are hardly any pro-Palestinian writings. There, wearing a keffiyeh is not chic - but rather suspicious.

In Leipzig, it long looked like the old fight between anti-imperialists and anti-Germans would quiet down. But now it is in full swing, said Jule Nagel, Left Party politician from Connewitz, to the taz. "For roughly three years, there is a re-emerging of authoritarian communist groups which put the topic more in the focus", she says. October 7 has only accelerated this.

Like in other cities, Palestine activists have trying to denounce the scene by claiming it to be complicit with Israeli war crimes - and anti-Germans try to uncover the implied anti-semitic motives behind every criticism of Israel. Events that are seen as being from the other side are being disrupted, their house projects scrawled on with slogans.

That explains the video from Leipzig. And opens up more questions:

On the other side, in October 2023, rocks were thrown at the window panes of the store project Ganze Bäckerei in the migrant house project La Casa, where many anti-imperialist groups hold plenary assemblies. Inside them, a container was found which is assumed to contain pig fat - clearly an islamophobic message.

Without context, you'd think this was "right wing" and file it under "right wing violence". Could it be the case that a lot of "right-wing violence" in Leipzig is actually left wing, but they don't want to admit it, so they rebrand it to "right wing" like the national socialists?

It wouldn't be the first islamophobic gaffe by the scene. Already in 2021, from an anti-police protest, a mosque of the Erdoğan-associated mosque umbrella organization Ditib had rocks thrown at it. What apparently was intended to be criticism of Islam out of solidarity with Kurdistan caused a debate on how little sensitization for anti-Muslim racism there is among parts of the scene.

And Jule Nagel says: "We have the problem that leftist activists with a refugee or migration background sometimes don't feel like they belong in leftist spaces."

Because the leftists of Leipzig are so right-wing.

That sounds exciting. And especially: very entertaining. Let the games begin and let them bash their skulls in. We can only hope that they've got enough gopros and phone cameras so we can see all of it on Youtube.

However, the reader continues:

P.S.:

The former Israeli minister president Ehud Barak points out that Netanyahu supported Hamas to divide the Palestinians: https://t.me/myLordBebo/49152

The Netanyahu administration was informed about the Hamas's attack plans, but didn't do anything about it to get an excuse for the destruction of the Gaza strip: https://www.timesofisrael.com/weeks...en-warned-of-hamas-plan-to-take-250-hostages/

Netanyahu's son is enjoying the high life in Miami: https://www.20min.ch/story/yair-net...s-die-werbetrommel-fuer-benjamin-364541438253

This could be interesting. Take heed to have sufficient amounts of popcorn and potato chips. Because it looks like the left-wing groups in Germany are fighting a proxy war.

Which answers the question which I've been asking often, why the leftists are so in bed with the Palestinians and Islam and simultaneously do the opposite, fighting against anti-semitism and for women's rights.

It turns out to be two kinds of opposite spectrum leftists.

Do you know this phrase that some smart-asses like to say when someone mistakes left and right in something? "The other right hand!" And now we have - again - the situation "The other left!", because there's two fronts.

Who's gonna win?

Unfortunately their all pro-Palestine types. Only in Germany do you get jew worship, and that only because of self-hating Germans.
its actually super fucking crazy, Germany is so white guilted they know to support the ultimate victim class the jews and will destroy any ethnic minority to please (((them))) despite jews will just import jeets to replace them instead of mudslimes. and stupid communists on twitter will say "huurrrr durrr nazi germany is back" and im all like "no you moron, its just over stimulated white guilt due to jews and the holocaust".

Now imagine if local antifas of Portland and Seattle fight each other, that would be priceless.
liberals vs communists. a fight between a demon and a monster, and as a human i hope they both kill each other!
