For example, Electro Cup with flat DEF, Crit DMG and Rate ? That's good enough unless you need the other set pieces. Even the refining results end up boosting that def stat.. well, use that resin !

Yeah I agree on artifacts. Before you even start farming I would recommend getting your character to 80/80 and 8/6/6 talents. Artifact domains are a crazy ass resin dump. Many times I legit just walk away with the main stat I want but useless substats. I was actually using 4* circlets on kaeya and venti for a while. Literally, the first 4* blizzard strayer hat that an NPC gives you on dragonspine was better than almost every circlet i got from the domain.

And yeah, the spear is good for sure Im just salty for being a Rosarialet. When I build my Xiangling I'll max it out. Then put fav lance back on her when I get Rosaria in 2022.
 
AR 44 after finishing all the character quest (jesus christ Childe was the absolute worst because the game didn't let me fast forward through the dialogue). It's kinda funny that the characters look really OP if you do those quests early, but if you wait until later a lot of them struggle against common enemies (looking at you Childe and Jean). Ganyu felt the most powerful but I wouldn't know how to build a party around her, especially with charged arrow being easily interrupted.
Started going to domains for weapon materials and is the a world level a factor in the drops? I did the highest level one and only got a purple level material half the times.
 
I’m liking the new Oceanid fight for the Event - pity it’ll probably disappear once the events done, cause it’s definitely better than “Whack a Minion”.

Trust me, the domain drop rate is a scam. You’re better off just crafting Purples and Golds from the dozens of Greens and Blues that’ll drop first

Random party I thought up.
Tart (hydro + mobile flexibility ) + Diona/Kaeya/Chongyun for shields/burst/E(?) + cocogoat + random pyro.

From what I read C0 Tart likes range too, but Ganyu is your star here. Soak everything with tart, drop her skills and shoot frozen stuff. Melt popsicles with fire and repeat. Support cyro is to create more breathing room and resonance for Ganyu. Tart can be replaced by Mona for her illusions for easier sniping if you have her but less damage.

A slight difference I feel ? But even at AR 55 I get blue greens.

God damnit, at least weapons are kind of a done deal after going through them unlike artifacts.
Also what the fuck is the one week event. I'm going to be abroad the entire second half of the event so I guess fuck me.
 
Rosaria seems really good so far, and I haven't even maxed her out. Definitely gonna make her my second dedicated DD it's a real shame what happened to her DD's

Yeah this might be the most high effort one week event so far. Even as someone who doesnt have that much problems with base Oceanid any more, this fight is way more fun.

You can more or less do anything with Ganyu, and she's broken for just using her abilities and the occasional charged shot against certain enemies. You can also shoot the ground with her from a distance, although that does less damage. Melt just kills everything easily.

You run her with a Pyro DPS and whatever supports or other DPS you want, it could be Albedo/Zhongli/Venti or any of the healers/cleansers, or you could also bring Hydro and do a Freeze/Shatter comp if you want.
 
Ganyu you can do anything with, she has stupidly high damage output as a main dps with reactions. Then as a support character her burst cooldown is as long as the skill lasts so you can just reapply it right after. Not to mention how good she is at killing all of the pigeons on the bridge for meat.

It's kinda opposite, it didn't take off because it's not astroturfed by some corporation, it is though fake outrage. If you wanna complain about Chinese being racist there are way better examples:

Anyways, grinded a bit today on the snowy mountain, I'm warming up to the place (pun unintended) but I'll happily live without the freezing mechanic. Missing only 4 agate for the the tree, guess I'll use a walkthrough to the chests and puzzles since they are almost certainly the only things I missed.

Personally, I didn’t mind the Freezing mechanic, and considering the mountain was supposed to be inhospitable it made actual sense. Wish they did more with it rather than “if it fills you start losing HP”, but we’ll see what they do with the inevitable Pyro version.

It being pointless is part of the problem, you don't remember it until your health starts being sapped and your vision turns to shit.
 
Looks like the "hu tao mains" discord is shutting down. Admin was apparently abusive towards the mods plus would lie about his financial situation to beg for donos. Bit of an unorganized info dump, I never really followed these tranny discord communities.

I've kinda gotten into a rhythm of killing the lizard fuck with a combo of ninguang, qiqi, xinyan, and keqing. SInce my xinyan and ninguang are characters I've rolled dupes on an absurd number of times they're slightly more powerful than the others, and I can more or less farm and spam shields. The fire/geo/claymore shit does wonders against geo stuff so yeah the other 2 characters pretty much serve healing and elemental reactions.been avoiding the ascension quest for a while now because it's already a slog as it is to fight bosses by myself at the level I'm at and there's like only one level up after AR 50 for character shit apperently. Also I'm scared the same shits gonna happen as last time where it just shoots me up several world levels like last time. Working out on grinding materials which will absolutely become an impossibility if I increase world level at least in terms of boss items. Doing literally anything in the game increases AR XP which is a blessing and a curse because I really want shit for my characters.
