The new Genshin Beta is starting and this one is a real dozer. There is no gameplay yet but i'll try to summarize the new things and adjustments.
1-Sandrone is exactly what was leaked.
She is a charge atk main dps with a big laser beam and a meter. If she is off field she recharges the beam 3x faster. Her skill lowers the meter and the burst counts as stellar damage if the radiance effect is present. The beam is made by a robot named Fageo, implying Sandrone might be homophobic. There is no pulonia on her kit.
While it isn't clear yet how the reaction scales, so far only sandrone can enabler Stellar Conduct which is a field that enables that character to do Stellar conduct damage.
2-Miko
-She straight up has +10 second turret duration and burst will not eat turrets (big if true EDIT: ITS UNCLEAR?)
-Casting skill (and burst?) while totem still exists will summon an extra zap
-Superconduct will trigger a stronger zap every 2.5s. If Stellar Conduct is triggered, this zap will be Stellar damage.
-Cons buffs (c1 gives the team 40% electro and SC damage after SC, C2 gives her and on fielder 200 EM are notable ones)
So Yae's base rotation is the same but she got longer skill duration and more damage which is just nice. It's unclear if this will make her better with cryo than Dendro but for now she is Sandrone's best partner, especially at C2.
3-Cyno
-Cyno simply got the funniest change ever: When you use his normal skill, he will enter the burst state for 6 seconds.
-With Stellar conduct, his homing bolts become stellar conduct damage and his EM scaling from passive increased.
-Cons buffs (c1 gives 200 EM that will pass if cyno switches, C2 gives SC bonus that passes too, c4 gives 20 energy when allies buffed do reaction, etc)
Cyno does not actually look that stronger tbh but that skill rework is pretty huge for fun factor. You can actually use cyno on normal gameplay without much energy issues or on stygian without feeling like you're throwing. I don't know if he's better than dendro either but reminder that Sandrone is an on fielder so don't roll her for him lol.
4-Mizuki
-Mizuki now shares 10% of her Em with the team
-Cons buffs (c1 does an extra hit, c2 gives 20% shred, c4 extra heal and c6 extra swirl crit scaling)
Mizuki is bad and she is still bad. Nothing here makes her remotely viable but if i had to guess, Mizuki will actually get an extra buff later with Stellar Swirl and she might be able to deal that damage. I still don't expect her to be that great, especially as she will need an enabler.
5-Qiqi
-Her skill cooldown is reduced to 15 seconds and, bizarrely, buffs superconduct, stellarconduct and cryo swirl by 50% ). It will also do a coordianted attack now (unclear of aplication)
-stellar Conduct will guarantee her mark and reduce CD to 15s and her burst counts as stellar damage.
-C1 buffs all require Stellar conduct (c1 gives + energy, c2 gives her 50% atk, c4 makes talisman heal lowest ally, c6 gives a SC quill based on qiqi attack)
Okay so that's uh, pretty underwhelming. The skill cooldown reduction was the bare minimum and i have yet to see the cryo aplication on skill but locking the talisman CD behind stellar was unnecessary. She is a standard 5*, you can't use her full kit without a limited unit and she will get powercrept hard anyway. I'm not sure her buff is even worth using over escofier's personal damage.
6-Wrio
-Passive improved to give him atk% on hp change up to +30%.
-When SC enhanced, Wrio's enhanced charge punch will count as Stellar conduct damage and he gets reaction bonus extra scaling.
-Cons buffs, all locked under the new reaction and somewhat similar.
This one was very boring but Wrio's kit is fine anyway, at least he can play this reaction and not feel like he's doing nothing with it.
7- While under Stellarconduct field, Diona C6 buffs super conduct, stellar conduct and cryo swirl (geez, i wonder what stellar reaction is next...)
8-While under Stellarconduct field, Beidou C6 shreds cryo and gives 200 em buff.
Did you really need to lock those buffs behind a new reaction dude? It's not like beidou even does that damage type anyway.
Sandrone's weapon is very boring. A claymore that gives atk while on field and when charge atk hits increases stellar conduct damage (woooow). Genuinely worthless on anyone other than her.
Both Wrio and Yae's weapons were changed to buff Stellar conduct damage.
I dojn't know if scalings were changed but in my opinion the big winner with these buffs is yae miko. She got longer skill duration that make her less unforgiving, burst doesn't eat turrets so lower field time (not sure?), more zaps and her c2 is free 200 EM and not stellar locked. Even when the dedicated sandroen support releases, yae can justify a place there.
Cyno is not that bad to use on overworld now i guess. Wrio has new team choices. Both have to wait for 7.0 for a subdps enabler tho.
Now back tothe elephant in the rom, Stellar super conduct. It's really boring. It buffs elec/cryo damage and enhances a few specific units. It still lowers phys res (wow).
People are saying this is better than lunar but i disagree, i think this is way worse than lunar. As it stands, Stellar conduct is literally a non reaction that only 1-3 characters in the entire game will enalbe and only a dozen will be able to do anything with it. It's not "electro + cryo" anymore, it's only a few names.
If it wasn't for these buffs then this "reaction" would actually do nothing other let sandrone do more damage. It only exists for the sake of inventing a new "damage types" to shill newer units.
View attachment 9028164I actually got that costume and the glider while pulling for her, and I don't know if it's me but I don't think it's a good fit for her...
I was wondering which con to get from the temper event and it looks like it's Yae's turn, so great timing Mihoyo. Fageo is apparently Pulonia just shrunk down into a mini form, so hopefully he looks cool.
Yay! Won the 50/50
Time to get her weapon and HOPE I get lucky.
That aside, they kinda spoiled that it'd be her...or they updated the 5* animation because when I did the pull, it was all rainbow-y and more extra than normal.

that's capturing radiance, the anti-50/50 loss system. if you lose enough and then would lose another once you've built it up, it guarantees winning it
Y'know what, I can appreciate them making points where you can leave the Main Quest and not have to replay entire segments easier to spot. And them actually showing when you're leaving when the last save point was - I'm guessing that was a big piece of feedback from the Nod Krai questline...

That's been a thing for at least a year, it's more a form of pity protection (ie. the game counts your lost 50/50's and increases a count, once it hits max your next lost 50/50 becomes a win.) It's just rare as hell because it ups the count by something like 5% each time.
