So, I go for Lyney. Not heard too much good about him, but I still want him. Loose 50/50 to Sigewinne, the only character I did not care at all about. Would have been happier if I got a constellation on Emilie, but it is what it is. Got magic boy and went for Clorinde. Lost 50/50 again, to fucking Sigewinne again. While I will complete my run for Clorinde, with this luck I might pass on Navia.

Edit: I could do some work on my impulse control, but that would require me to fix my habit of procrastination first. Maybe tomorrow. Anyway, got Clorinde, went for Navia. A third lost 50/50 in a row (Clorinde this time, and no, the irony is not lost on me) I got her and am now going to farmsville for all the stuff I need to make them remotely useful.

If it "helps", at least you got the good C1s there. Sigewine c1 gives her more skill uptime thus more hydro/heal/buff and clorinde's c1 is more hits and application. And if you had to lose the 50/50 at least sigewine is better than the standard banners other than argueably jean and mona.

If you missed 3 50/50 in a row you have a high chance of using the "forced guarantee" system they added so keep that in mind when you roll more.

I decided to say screw it and get Lauma to maybe unbench alhaitham (realistically he ain't coming back) and it consumed mine. I didn't know i had it so welp, back to 50/50 hell. Depending on how Sandrone beta goes i might have to only gamble 1 pity on nicole or potentially skip her.
 
Thinking back on it, I really don't enjoy the Idolshit in ZZZ with the Angels of Delusion save for one particular aspect. They're jailbait, that's always been clear and I hate that. The one thing I do enjoy is that Sunna works at a maid cafe to pay her bills while she writes music and struggles to get by. There must have been an actual human in the room when that part was added- she's working a shit job and working even harder to pay for the dream. It's nice seeing that in contrast to Astra who has already made it big and is the top artist in New Eridu. Makes me wonder if Sunna is just an earlier Astra in that way.

That's standard idol anime writing. The pre famous stage is the most fun and interesting, especially with the idols doing every gig they can get a hold off, and the second that's over with then it's generic glamorous idol fantasy (that's far less realistic in practice).

Capturing Radiance doesn't build up or trigger on Chronicled Wish banners by the way. That combined with Fate Points not carrying over between banners has put me off of ever wishing on one. It's just a greedy banner format and I really feel bad for new players who want older limited 5 stars and their constellations.

Goodbye, whatever remained of ZZZ's identity. Like, what am I supposed to say to this? Who asked for this? What the fuck is this? I don't know if I'm supposed to laugh or cry, but I will say that I continue to be happy about having quit the game so I don't have to devote any brain power to the logic of playing this Lygus ass...whatever the fuck.

People, btw are not fucking happy about this either. So I'm guessing the Chinese demanded this.

Tbh it's far more interesting to look at what ZZZ churns out than going back to the game. I was kinda holding some mini cope about the game returning to what made it form. I was fully prepared for TV mode to go static but if we could ax the miasma and go back to the story vibes of 1.X, minus 1.8, I could handle it.

Instead.....this.

Actually I think I may have called a playable Phaethon back in the 1.8 days when I complained about Ellen complaining about us not being able to fight.

Also the Greek mythos analogy is really ramping up when I look at it now. Phaethon, being the mortal son of the sun god, Helios, with Eous and Pyrois being two of the four horses that drive the chariot.

So, when do we get to the story where Phaethon fails spectacularly and gets struck to death by Zeus?

They are taken from all over the internet it seems and for china some chinese version of appstore or something like that and they dont count PC and Consoles

Rip to the dream of making Sunday/Loucha lovechild look less like Sunday/Loucha lovechild. I pulled him on the standard banner and benched the annoying teal cat bitch. I also got a slime girl, and now I have three+ main DPS characters.

I need to figure out the team-building mechanics of this game.

Also played the story and did some side quests and some of the quests are kinda annoying in the way that four objectives in a row is just "Talk to Twat 1" then "Go five meters to talk to Twat 2" then "Go five meters to talk to Twat 1" then "Go five meters to talk to Twat 2". Then "Go to bed and talk to Twat 1 the next day."

Not time-skip. You have to fuck off all the way back to your shitty dorm room and go to bed. It's kind of tedious.

Also got one star of the notoriety system by complete accident. It's kinda bullshit that if you're stopping a robbery or whatever and there's a pedestrian nearby, you will get notoriety because hitting them in combat will add to it. But there's no way of avoiding them when you're fighting enemies so close to the civilian you can smell their assholes.

Apparently, the more notoriety you have, the more features are locked out. One star prevents fast travel. I don't know what the other stars do, but I'm going to fucking dropkick someone if it affects combat or healing or something basic.

I feel as though the meter goes down extremely slowly, too, even when you're running from the cops, which is stated to help deplete the meter. Might it be because I have played way too much Saints Row in my lifetime, but idk, it feels like NTE tries to have its cake and eat it too. Like you can have fun but not too much fun, and you will be punished for it.

I also tried to steal shit from the store because I can. But I couldn't, so I had to pay up every time.

Also died for the first time because I got stunlocked by enemies on the top of a skyscraper. The combat continues to be JAAAAAAAAAAANK.

Actually, it's weirdly hard to find enemies.

They spent one year teaching them magic china kung fu training only to give up and make up a jojo stand for them so they can fight in a way where they don't *really* fight and they don't have to deal with wyse and belee having different models.

The devs really have no fucking idea what they're doing and just winging it as it goes huh. Even this feels like an attempt to say "see guys, we didn't forget paethon, they're totally still helpful strategist hackers see?"

Crazy how completely generic and mid these characters are. I thought ZZZ was meant to be oldschool cool undergroung tv and cinema style? The elysia expy reeks of desperation.

And i think i saw ZERO new guys there (Catman is old npc model). I even checked season 2 trailer and that had seed robot, manato, panda and another guy who wasn't playable, so that's 2 baits and 2 A ranks but at least that had actual baits, this has nothing. Especially funny when star rail is getting sexy bandaged blade next (who is looking super OP).

Also seeing some people really mad about this character who was hyped since the start became a Caesar clone
