Speaking of stupid I just read this as I reached that part in the main story where Frida for some reason decides Movme should pilot a titan and he fucks up by blowing up some of their guys and messing up the controls.

Frida calls him out on this and questions if he even read the manuals and he's like "I did! This stupid thing doesn't work!"

He's like the DSP of mechas.

That was the same thing with the recent thunder and lightning event. The scientist was actively trying to give away a tonatiuh to someone for testing purposes and and movme kept fucking up and not winning, until they let him steal it and he proceeds to lose control and end up attacking his own gang. I think one of the armed conquests he steals an nvidia mech and fucks it up offscreen. He's a joke character who keeps falling upwards and and DSPing back down and blaming everything else.

Also, star rail leakers are saying that anniversary will get the standard banner 5* for free but also another free 5* that may require story progress.

Oh boy, if this is an attempt to bring older players back then it's kinda of a questionable one. Not that i want to return anyway but if you have to beat the entirety of amphoreus then ya know most people are skipping that.

This sounds like it's gonna come with a lot of caveats.

Hell, it might be a grand selection of standard banner + Fu Xuan, Blade, and Seele because go fuck yourself.
 
Rewinding Cadence dropped a gameplay...something PV for its beta test in case anyone cares.

It also appears to be a pure waifu game but LE QUIRKY.... apparently?

Got a long ass time without PC access coming over the weekend, wanted to start Reverse 1999 during that time. Any tips for a new player? Is it like Limbus that is mostly doable without insane gacha luck, or is it recommended I reroll for specific characters?

She does look like a miliastra skin or something. Hoyo likes to reuse concept designs so it's not all that insane that they designed her for MW only to put her in genshin last moment

If you're dead serious about starting, download the game now because they're running a banner where you get 10 free pulls per day, for a 100 pulls total. You do have to choose which character you want. The next patch is the 2.5 anniversary, and they're giving out a lot of stuff.

Thanks, I gave it a go and it's intriguing so far. I'm trying the English dub but not sure it's worth it or better to switch to a chink dub before a tranny with a bad accent violate my ears.

The English cast is actually very good. No trannies as far as I've heard.

Reverse suffers the same issue Black Lagoon does. The cast is very diverse.

Anyway finished Star Rail 4.1 and gotta say it continues to having a strong start though one thing did make me raise an eyebrow.

Appearently Ashveil is the leader of the Galaxy Rangers and his actual name is La Mancha. Okay. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the whole thing about the Galaxy Rangers that they aren't actually a defined group and more a loose collective of maybe-allies? They got a leader now?

That aside, I did enjoy the story quest and I did enjoy fighting Mecha-PomPom. Great soundtrack too like a corrupted version of the menu theme. There's something about listening to his voice as he screams about HAPPINESS and ELATION and KILL ALL THE SAD PEOPLE and SADNESS IS HERESY. SLAUGHTER THE NON-BELIEVERS after getting booted up by the Jonestown Power Rangers.

TB also had a Schizo moment at the end and nearly got lost in the sauce but Ashveil saved us. I suppose it's a thank you for letting him kill the power rangers.

Yes it's more alternative world bullshit and Pearl says so too. Basically it's a remnant of the world after it became a real boy.

And the whole thing caused the moon itself to have a Schizo moment that was actually kinda creepy because it reminded me of Majoras Mask.

We also got introduced to Nihilux and I just noticed she's wearing a type of glove worn by digital artists and as someone who's done digital art, it did make me smile.

Also checked on my dumpster fire.
