I liked his side of the story better, but yeah, it's obvious everything went to Cyrene.

They need to make that Fractsidus outfit real.

Against my better judgement - and because I originally didn't like Varka's playstyle, though it's admittedly grown on me from his Story mission - I got Eula to C2 and picked up her signature weapon from the Scam Banner.

Was this a good idea, absolutely fucking not, Physical is a dead meme, and I'm like 99% convinced that keeping that R5 Royal Greatsword on her is the better play. Am I going to try and make her work, yes - it'll probably be in a wheelchair team where she's carried hard, but I like Eula. Now I just have to hope/cope that the Knights of Favonius get the (Witch Group I'm not bothering to spell the name of) treatment and get a buff...

Just finished watching the WuWa 3.2 livestream and it was pretty good but it is clear that "optimization" the last thing on their mind when they can't even be fucked to fix the memory leaks that plague their game every patch day. It is truly disappointing because this game is (in my humble opinion) a better experience vs HSR.

This game takes 60 GBs on mobile and around 150 GBs on PC. It's insane. It's extremely poorly optimized. At least I can run Genshin from a HDD. WuWa just shits itself (and Endfield but to a lesser extent. It runs much better than WuWa).

3.2 is a dry patch. I'm skipping Sigrika and fuck shit ass rhythm games. Nikke just had one and now I have to suffer through another...

They gotta fucking start adding some resourse management because this is fucking retarded. No wonder the game runs like ass

My SSD is tiny because it only runs my OS. I had WuWa there but it was filling it up, so I had to move it. Now everything takes forever to load and it stutters. If it continues to balloon, I might just end up quitting.
 
So I just rolled cerydra (started playing hsr a week ago, on march 7th incidentally) only to find out none of the characters I have work with her at all. I heard about honkai having baadd powercreep but locking a character to a few banner 5 stars is completely new to me.

I remember running genshin on my old hdd laptop and browsing threads on here waiting for the game to load, 5+ minute long loading screens. Granted, that was a 7 year old hdd at the time.
Changed to my pc with an ssd a few months ago and genshin loads within like a minute or less. Highly recommend you try to get your hands on a 250gb ssd somehow.

It's surprising that wuwa runs so poorly when ideally you'd want gacha games to run on literally anything to maximize playerbase and entice more whales. Even more so when the game doesn't look all that better than genshin.

This is the advantage of Unity's file structure over UE4. It's a bit harder to patch a .pak archive than the compressed assets that Unity uses. I also wouldn't blame the filesize for performance drops, unless you have a PCIE 2 SSD interface, a 256GB SSD in TYOOL 2026, <16GB of RAM or a SSD with HDD writes speeds.

What WuWa suffers from is rampant memory leaks in both RAM and GPU VRAM and a poor series of decisions starting with the use of the UE4 engine, which, like other things developed by Epic Games, does one thing ok at the expense of everything else.

Beware that with HSR, you can't mix and match your favorite characters. Well, if you don't care about doing the endgame stuff like Apocalyptic Shadow, Pure Fiction, etc. Endgame is on a turn timer and there has been colossal HP inflation. So to beat the timer, you need certain teams of characters.

When you buy a character, you usually are not buying an individual character. You are buying into that character's pre set team, and need to at the very least get their teammates too. When you buy Phainon, you are effectively buying Sunday/Cerydra/DHPT too. When you buy Castorice, you are buying Hyacine and Evernight too. When you buy Yao Guang or Sparxie, you are buying the other too. And so on.

So to keep up with HSR, you have to do a lot more research and also be ultra conservative with your jades so you can afford to commit to the whole team.
