Chris Sabat Robot Lion Man. That's really all I needed to know- Ye Shenguang looks cool too. Dialyn's eyes are fucking weird though. This whole Second Season has been about nothing but memory and while the story is very easy to predict because they tell us everything upfront, I'm still here for it. We'll be dealing with Shifu again soon with a big boss fight against her dead sister and it'll be sad but then we'll get 3.0 and honestly I wonder where we'll go from there. More time at the temple? Or will we be able to play as Wise and Belle as operators in Season 3? Here's hoping
 
ZZZ sent me a survey about why I quit the game. Didn't like the direction of the story from sci-fi to wushu sorcery and didn't like the shift to oversexualized and/or furry characters. Though robot lion man is fairly cool looking, got that Ashura's Wrath vibe.

Getting to the required rank 10 in MW didn't even take two weeks of doing dailies and the BP. Levelling them in Genshin afterwards is basically instantaneous because it doesn't cost you any resources. You still go through the regular levelling step (20, 40, 50, etc.) for some reason, so I could have stopped at 70, I guess.
 
I am finally done with Amphoreus. AAAAAH

It was...alright. I will admit, I was so over everything by the end that I just wanted everyone to shut the fuck up, especially Cyrene.exe the Demigurge, about love and fate and light or whatever. It felt as though it was about to end numerous times, and then the music video began, and while it was nice, I just wanted everyone to shut the fuck up at that point but it kept going.

So technically, no one is truly dead as they technically didn't exist in the first place except for Cyrene.exe who became/is/has always been the god of Rememberance. Amphoreus.exe is out of its closed beta and is about to be launched for real, with everyone becoming real boys. The world ended, but then Cyrene.exe reversed that.

Cool, can we please move the fuck on now?

Also I'm just gonna say, maybe it's also an issue with MHY in general but HSR loves spewing a bunch of terms and shit at you to the point where I was like....huh?

Jeez. Okay, I really hope the next patch won't give me such a goddamn headache.

I will say that the Irontomb boss was...long but great and really intimidating, albeit not really difficult imo, until the fight against Lygus. And I will always give MHY games this; their music is fantastic. 3.7 was no different; now that's some good shit.

Now, this complaint is something that may or may not be easily explained, but I felt as though Cyrene was instantly into TB from the second we met. You could make the argument that she has some kind of hero fetish or whatever and has been watching this entire thing from beginning to end, and it made her totes wet or something, but she seemed super interested in us from day one.

At least Firefly shipping had some build-up, but Cyrene was just ripped from Phainon and then shoved into our face instantly. It felt...really quick and kept going full throttle.
Farewell, Amphoreus. You were....fine from beginning to end.

We went from saving Belobog from an eternal blizzard to stopping one of Nanook's cronies from starting a civil war on the Xianzhou ships and fucking with that Abundance Tree to stopping Kentucky Fried Dickface Sunday from putting Penacony in an eternal sleep with him as the Jim Jones of the People's Order to saving the goddamn entire universe and the space-time continuum from utter annihilation, failing and then restarting the entire birth of the universe, thus succeeding.

I don't know, and to be honest, I kinda just want to go away from the grandness. Mostly because it goes away from convoluted writing, something Amphoreus really suffers from.

Actually, one last thing. Are they gonna address the other TB showing up to mindfuck us like some brief schizo moment? I refuse to believe there isn't a meaning behind that.
 
An interesting introspection about getting filtered.

Today I've decided to retry the abyss to squeeze the 6-th star from floor 12. First time I went with Arle on the first side and Neuvilett on the second. I made it all the way to the third floor, but got and immediate "fuck you" because I forgot that crab requires dendro. Somehow I made it through Vishap, but fat wildhunters costed me 1 star anyway, because they are so fat. Why didn't I use lunar charge? Because I didn't roll for any characters that do it. So this time I switched teams around and put Nahida on hydro team. Arle team couldn't make it through cursed ratnik, as in they couldn't kill all 4 spooks he summons. Neuvilett could because he was able to hit all four consistently, but while being hit manually they fly all over the place and Kadzuhas grouping wasn't sufficient. As I've red, they go into state in which their normal and max hp deplete at the same time after being hit by an ability that's buffed by ascended gleam. But I can't do that since I have only Ino. It wouldn't be that bad, but when he eats his spooks he also kills your character. If not for this, I'd made it through somehow.
My memory isn't perfect, and I've missed quite a few cycles because I've just forgot about them, but this is the first time I felt so filtered by the mechanics. I know I could go with my first setup and put some dendro in the first team and squeeze that star, but why would I do it for 50 gemms?

Aside from the crab you can ignore most mechanics and just force the dps. Abyss has fallen out of favor as the skill issue mode since IT is a character check and Stygian is the real test of your ability to clear "hard" content .

Yeah. It's just not something I'm willing to do right now. Next time I'd just read on the possible gimmics before. Didn't knew bursting down his red hp will stop him from eating his spooks, for example. Thought it will happen anyway.
 
Like the fool that I am, I ignored sound advice and did a pull on weapons banner and got Zhongli sig very early. Literally the first pull with zero pity since I got Flins sig.

Ah man I should really listen. But regardless, there's still over two weeks left and I have a Guarantee at least so fuck it. Let's get Arles sig. Someday, someone will love the VV.

You should're read the enemies and blessings and not use Arle on first half when the second half is tailor made for her and gives 75% pyro bonus.

This abyss is notably shilly tho. Crab wastes almost a full minute if you don't want to play bloom and still has massive hp. The horse can be countered but needs fast hits and the right teams (tulpa 2) on top of massive hp. The wild hunt are just meat sacks with massive hp.

Even with the buffs i can feel arle shake under the inflation. I remember beating primovishap with Diluc/xinqiu/bennet/zhongli with confidence back then. Nowadays i wouldn't even try cause it has 4 million hp and they added a 1.5 mil hp robot with high DR before it.

I told you the weapon banner was bait dawg. At least it's not kokomi donut tier and we have more spear on fielders who can kinda use vortex well but they need a shielder. Flins or cyno with ineffa can use it, arle with zhongers or citlali too. But if you have a jade spear you realistically don't need this.

I lack a Jade Spear, unfortunately, and I don't have Cyno or Ineffa or Citlali, but in case the robo girl ever gets a rerun, I have a weapon for her if anything - until I get something better.

Man, they really dropped the ball so hard for a goddamn archon signature weapon. It's not good when it's not even his BiS. Like, how do you even do that?

They should really buff it since they are apparently buffing 1.x characters now.

Venti has like 3 sigs because of early release undirectional planning so they overcorrected and made Engulfing too good in general. The most you can get out of Vortex is just on someone who wants the 5 star attack value like Iansan.

I’m no furfag, but Von Lycaon is something else…
I don’t know why his character design resonated with me so much, but it did, and I’m just speechless.

I think hoyo could not grasp how the meta game would develop on practice before release (apparently superconduct and crescent pike were nerfed after beta cause people played physical lol) and i have to guess zhong was a culmination of many of it's issues and thinking more on casual players and exploration.

His combo is weak because it had to be balanced around crescent pike.
His pilar is weak cause it has to be balanced around everyone having geo traveler (lol).
His shield does nothing else because they probably felt the high hp, full uptime and breaking hilichu geo shields (that beginners strugle a lot) was good enough.
His meteor is weak but it will petrify through shields and even heralds/lectors so it's good right?

Note that hoyo is weirdly scared of shielders and was always very conservative with their strenght, uptime and utility. They literally made two enemy types designed to punish shields (wolves and husks) and it wasn't until Ineffa that we got a strong shielder+subdps. They overvalued his shield.

They market him as a badass wise warrior god with cool as hell combos so he needds a dps weapon, but at the same time they want the liyue 5* series to be shitty weapon bait fodder with atk% so he got the short end of the stick while Venti got skyward harp.

They're never buffing vortex, most they can give him is a new weapon like venti got but i don't see dps zhonger working in this current economy without massive rework. Venti at least does damage and they're legit reworking his burst to spawn on top of the enemy (klee got an atk speed buff too i was shook). At best i see him getting a support weapon and some adeptus faction buff.

Anyways, here is some random news, stella sora got hit by the korean anti small penis cult and the devs apologized

The older Therien designs are fine, Lycaon and Ben are 2 of my favorite characters. Jane was when they started leaning into Gooner, and it only went downhill from there. Between Seed's feet and Octopus chick pole dancing on her weapon, it's just too much lately.
