This takes me back to when players were drooling over her numbers. Then you realize she's only Cryo because they had to give her an element, and that Physical has been abandoned for the past 4+ years.

Fun fact, the natlan support set used to give physical damage bonus too but it was removed in the beta. This made me think they were planning a physical dps, support or at least a new physical artifact. Nope, it was nerfed to spite Eula who can't even use any natlan support well.

What i mean, physical is not even "abandoned" or else that would slip as an accident, hoyo actively wants it to stay dead.

So would that be the explanation for why we can suddenly perform healing like we're Jesus?

Or are they gonna pull a Metal Gear Solid and say "Nanomachines, bitch"?

Speaking of which Seed can control robots with her mind. She's also appearently immune to the effects of the hollow. She's fully human too (maybe not human but certainly not a robot). That's how Seed Sr. found her.

Edit: so some other maybe open-world fantasy gacha game, Mongil Star Dive, which is a name and a half, had its second CBT.

It's the second closed beta, so I can't go too hard, but I will say this shit looks generic af.

This is going to sound retarded, but exploring the underground areas and the length of the quest, I was sort of reminded of the old joy when I played Genshin for the first few times post Monstadt. It felt nostalgic in a way.

Like I get a kick out of exploring and going to vast, unknown, curious places. It takes eons because herp derp stamina limit, but I generally like open world games or metroidvanias for this reason.

same, that's why the tail-end of natlan kinda saved 5.x for me, in a "it wasn't so bad in hindsight" kinda way. 6.0 only felt even more "back to form", but the 10-hour main story and no new areas till 6.2 apparently we gonna have to wait and see...

Makes me glad I opted out. I feel like it's just history repeating by now, Genshin was a gateway to gacha for a lot of people due to removing a lot of shit in the genre - glorified PNG art, no pity, no gameplay. But it's been 5 years and from what I read it didn't change to accommodate new changes in the genre, but it is in the camp of FGO of too big to fail.

So, since losing the 50/50 in ZZZ, I've lost complete interest in Orphie. I may sit on it for a while because out of the next patch's character, the only one I really want is Manato, with Lucia as a distant second so when I get one before the other, I'll uninstall. I think I'm over going back like an abused ex.

Kind of feeling the same on ZZZ. I don't fully agree with the story issues (I really liked 2.1's story) but not digging the new direction. I don't really care for this psudo-open world thing. I liked the TV sections and I liked ZZZ as it didn't feel like it demanded my time like Genshin did. The game has become "Do endgame, log off." And yeah, don't need this game's identity crisis. They should have toughed it out with TV mode and made it work. It's clearly not helped.

2.1. was a pallete cleanser and so far the best but it was dragged by a shitty patch before avd after it.

The Travelers' Tales are a step in the right direction when it comes to Genshin's storytelling - I feel that small interactions make characters feel more 'real' so to speak, and that it's as if you're actually finding them in the world itself and having conversations with them. Though I really don't like Columbina's, not because it's shittier by any means, but the fact that you have to wait a whole week before you can see the next one. I was only able to play through that one about two days after 6.0 dropped, and now I'm two days behind.

Yep they've been phasing those out since Fontaine. There's a grand total of 1 element monument puzzle in Natlan, and nothing in Nod Krai. Same with torch puzzles, those have been neglected as well.

You know, qiqi, the first character I got. Qiqi, the fucking character that everyone jokes about being shit now? Yeah, I just have furina witht he health depleting floaty guys, ineffa's little autistic vacuum robot, and ajaw out if I'm feeling daring. And then qiqi just spam attacking and doing elemental shit and enemies drop in like 2 or 3 seconds. Granted this is overworld and not the challenge things so no clue if they'll be good for that at all but it's really fucking funny to me.

I would love Nefer, and I'd like Arle, and I'd love cons for John Lee and the little destroyer of relationships that is Furina. But Arle might be available for the Chronicled Wish Fontaine banner so I might hold off for now.

Follow-up to my last post about Dr. Ratio's VA (and that last I'll be posting about this because I think I'm starting to get too MATI), because I saw a comment saying that apparently he's mentally ill and has been suffering from some kind of religious psychosis. I genuinely think this guy needs help, but these self-righteous online queers are going on about 'oh, he hurt us badly, we won't forgive him' but also moralfag about him getting help when I think if he killed himself they would gravedance like crazy. It's their goddamn fault that they put him on such a high pedestal and sperged out when he committed wrongthink - duh, genius, he's a fucking human like you and me and I think this is just another symptom of being too terminally online and parasocial. I think these people need more mental health than him. Then again I think the situation is calming down because while they don't really condone what he said (like he beat them up or something), they want him to get better, which is at least an improvement. Anyway,, I'll just give the screenshot here and shut up about this, since 6.1's Special Program is in about 3 days and I'm looking forward to it. The comment below is at least a bit more sympathetic. Let's hope everything works out.
