I've decided to take HSR story expansion in bites but I'm not hyper in tune with the story.

Jokes aside, yeah, from my understanding, this is still not answering who March actually is. Rather, it sounds like Evernight and her army of jellyfish infected March's mind and talked her into giving up her body.

Feels like a cop-out...unless March was the true evernight all along or some shit. I'm not done with the story yet, after all. But watching the Tank Heng bits was good.

Unrelated, but I gotta say...I'm kinda over 3.X.
Maybe it's aesthetics fatigue. I'm getting sick and tired of whatever the fuck Rinascita is in WuWa too.

Same here for both HSR and WuWa. It also doesn't help when both went for the ancient Greece aesthetic. I watched the WuWa trailer and I'm not feeling it, but I will pull for Qinyuan because he's pretty. I really want Rinascita to end.

Greece isn't even part of the main story; it's an unrelated side story! What the hell!

WuWa is a curious case. We started with Venice for Rinascita, and I was down for that, but come Septimont and boom, Grecco-Roman up in this bitch.

How the mighty have fallen. At least i just found a "fangame" of pvz2 for pc without microtransactions so the fanbase might make it playable years later.

Finished the 3.6. story in HSR. It was....okay. I am sick of the Amphoreus gang, but seeing the main trio back again was nice.

Maybe the game didn't explain it properly, or it did and the yapping got lost in translation for me, because I do have questions.

So what exactly is Evernight? To my understanding, I have two interpretations.

1. She's a (maybe) memetic lifeform (like Gallagher) who latched onto March, who, apparently, came from a shard of Fuli of the Rememberance. That whole six-phase ice thing she was found floating around in. The Garden of Recollection thought that shit was juicy.

I guess?????????

2. She is March, but she's like an alter ego or something and has always been there but resurfaced as a result of March's soul journey when she tried to get into Amphoreus, then took control of March's body to get shit done.

Either way, Evernight has taken the "burden" of March's past, thus protecting her from her past.

It doesn't really answer who or what March is, and it's just more vague bullshit. At least they actually did something with Dan Heng, but March gets fuck all. It actually brings more questions than answers.

At least this update fully confirmed that Dan Feng tried to bring Baiheng back to life, and that went to shit, hence why he was punished. Which was, to my understanding, a popular theory until now. Of course, there were some things they kept vague, like how Blade and Jingliu got the mara and how it relates to the whole resurrection bullshit.

Unless it's in some readables hidden away in the game somewhere.

Kinda cheap that they didn't even include Baiheng in the scenes, the cowards. But hearing Blade act like Blade before he became Blade was very nice. I like his JP voice. The guy has some range.

Anyway, see you all in a few years when it comes out that March has a deeply sad and tragic backstory. She's the eminator of Rememberance or some shit, forced to remember how the world ends or some shit.

As much as I shit on this, this moment did make me smile, but that's because I like March.

I quickly changed teams and threw a Phainon-sized torpedo at it, and that was that, but still annoying.

We are getting some questionable leaks about Durin, Full stop Chan (the leaker) supposedly has a decent track record (except when he "leaked" madame ping ages ago) but I don't trust a lot kit leaks made two or more patches prior (so leaking a kit from a 6.3 character in 6.1 or 6.0, they tend to be wrong or half truths), regardless the biggest leak is supposedly Varka, Columbina, Durin and White horse adeptus being a "better team", that one worries me a bit but we'll have to wait and see.

Getting top 2% this season in ZZZ was grueling, this is the hardest DA and not even heavy on the shill, just the terrible buffs were enough to turn this from an easy 2% to a 100+ attempt grind of hitting the right RNG.
I have a new-found appreciation for Brimstone after this one, a 40% atk buff in combat for just doing normal attacks is easily underestimated, but if you intend to use it, you'd better start investing in PEN ratio. Good thing to have since the next boss will have 50% higher DEF and an exceptional resistance to freezing.

If there are any ZZZ players left here, what are your pull plans for the nearest future? I have to skip at least one character in 2.3 because 2.2 left me broke.

Anemo is dead as a dps element (worse than geo who at least counters some enemies) so it's been vv slave for 5 years. I don't know how a (alleged) pyro subdps like durin and (alleged) lunar reaction support would make it work.

You see, this is what is going to happen, the elation units will have a new gimmick that is "OP but very restrictive" and everyone will say "see this balances them out and avoids powercreep". Until we keep getting more of them that combo with each other because Elation units will actually be actually every other role (destruction, abundance, harmony, preservation, etc) but with no free cone options so you can make a team only with them that powercreeps all previous units.

I liked the cope that "anomaly is a good thing because it means hoyo will balance it for whales and avoid powercreep for other modes". People said the same thing about genshin stygian too. Some still say it.

What rerun revenue? Seelie doesn't exist anymore silly, she is not real. The only buffed units were, stellaron hunters who were dead which makes no sense considering their long term story importance, and Jingliu who still has no actual main story importance, with her buff not even being good enough to make her good so by the time she is important she will need another one.

It's not like this powercreep is ignorable either. My brother is very competent at min maxing and games and stopped playing honkai again because his acheron (that is e0 and no cone sure) team can't physically clear the last weekly boss and he felt depressed. People will still defend this by saying bronya is a good so powercreep is not that bad.

Now for something unrelated, i spotted this comment in the leak subreddit and it always makes me chuckle how people HATE Dori for absolutely no reason.

If she was a hot tall guy you know she would get a way with it (especially with kaveh's debt) but since she is a dwarf fake loli grandma (???) who is a lil jewish with money everyone wants her crucified. It makes me respect Dori's hustle out of spite.

Lol, I guess on Nod'Krai we at least got almost everyone leaked by name early on but yeah, that's why I say not to trust kit leaks for characters who are 2+ patches away, though at the same time, we have enough precedent on how hoyo is pushing a tad more recently to pull for a Main DPS + Meta support combo, like Mavuika and Citlali or Skirk and Escoffier, but I do agree with you that the whole Pyro subdps and Lunar reaction combo makes like no sense in paper, so I heavily doubt it'll be like that, it's still a funny leak nonetheless, I just hope it ends up being fake, I'm still praying for Columbina as a main DPS after all.

I've seen similar complaints floating around which is more proof that Genshin players can't read because the only person who was "scammed" was Aino as she was the one who paid and she doesn't give a fuck about mora lol.
