I'm not sure i mentioned it from leaks but in beta it was an option inside genshin's launcher. In the final release it will probably have it's own launcher like ZZZ, honkai etc.
Kiana is Hoyo's mascot who gets directly added or hard referenced in every hoyo game, to the point Paimon herself looks like a mini kiana. She is that energetic funny lazy dumb happy gal anime sterotype at the start of HI3 (before the non trauma roller coaster) so she will fit in fine. The little i played honkai 3 had an actual not!Pokemon event (non canon).
It was an autochess event too, surprisingly fun. Hoyo has been doing these autochesses for years.
Unrelated but i realize now that the free constelation thing requires playing nonstop for 2 months which is such an evil move to bring back old players on top of softening the blow for essentially locking the final level cap behind standard banner unit C9 (imagine if any other game did this it would be called kusoge pay 2 win on sight).
I wonder if genshin is struggling to bring new loyal players and old ones because so much now is geared towards whales and trying to get people to play again but idk if it's working, even if the money goes up. Even when i told my brother, who spent money himself, he told me "Did they add a skip button or make the grind easy? Then i don't want to hear about genhsin you retard".
Oh yeah, Columbina left the fatui for anyone who cares about lore. Big reveal of something that happened offscreen.

Wtf is this bullshit. They're resorting to offscreen reveals now? I feel more insulted than hiding lore in giant walls of text in some random book you may or may not find.

Pretty sure we'll be finding out the reason she left during the archon quest itself as the special program said we'd be meeting up with her and doing favors in exchange for power, so the whole off screen reveal is a nothing burger and just a teaser.

I guess that's why it's now "too big for ps4" which sucks.Also it lacks the identity signature to the game despite using it's assets. I really hope they don't lose their way because so far even with odd hiccups shit's been strong. At least in terms of the lore/overworld stuff (aside from the spaceship retcon when it was a portal or some shit initially)

I think it was more it ran like absolute ass on PS4 which is why it'll never come to Switch 2. Although I do hope they do something about the size of Genshin on PS5 because it and HSR take up like 60% of storage by themselves.

It's run fine on ps4 the entire time I've played it on it, especially these last few updates which makes it weirder to me.

GI: Lv. 100 yay. I want a higher world level & domain tier to farm up resources faster.
ZZZ: Love me some more A ranks. Bit interesting they've opted for yet another Ether support. I'm saving up spins to get both the upcoming Obol characters and their sig weps for the full squad.
I didn't know there was a limit to how many ores could be crafted into upgrade material a day.
Barebones. Auto selected artefacts + level 70-80 + lv.6 talents and whatever weapons and used them on the first or second rounds.
Her c1 makes her somewhat viable for exploration outside Nata. It feels miserable trying to scale mountains without her. Horizontally, she can pull off around 5 dashes.
Her c2's strong, but I'd say her c0 was a bigger upgrade for me (not having any great shredders like Kazuha).

I learnt you can compass on the outskirts of Liyue and Mondstadt and it can latch onto a Dragonspine chest. It won't get most of them in the centre, but I did find one on the Liyue side (despite having chest hunted vigorously to 100% both regions a long time ago)
Got mine to r3. Expended all my upgrade material trying to get Wolf's gravestone and this to 90.

I can't remember why, but I spent a bit more on Xilonen's banner to get one of the 4stars to c6 (it might have been Candace for the off-field hydro at c6 as a weaker Xingqiu). Lucked Xilonen c1, and after using her a bit I decided to go all in for her c2.

That does not bode well. Also, the event menu is bugged. It shows there's a notification (the tiny red symbol), but there are no events at all. Not even a login reward.
But more astoundingly, the endgame mode. Black Beacon has little in terms of extra modes.
And the most viable one is bugged to fuck.

So this bare ass fucking nothingburger buggy as fuck patch for the next month and a half.
If EOS was a war siren, it'd be fucking hollering at everyone to the point of blowing out their eardrums.

Managed to get both Sylvie and Rosa's ST's, bought 2 of Blazar's pieces and pulled a third and got the first weeks free ST

I'm pretty sure there's a plotline or two in the game that'd vaguely parallel this shit on some level which makes it even more absurd to me that this kind of scam was decided to be attempted.

On one hand, I have exactly one character at C6 who can potentially get me the items needed for Level 100 - Diluc - and that's as someone who's played since almost launch and rarely spends - barring the Pass and Welkin, I limit my Spending on the actual Gacha unless I REALLY like/want a character. Meaning even for as long as I've been playing, this'll likely still be well out of reach for me.
On the other hand, I also actively don't care about things like 12 Starring the Abyss, or Perfecting the Theatre, or whatever the hell Stygian is about. I just go for the Primos them fuck off, even on the stupid DPS Check Events.
On the third mutant hand, watching Whales throw money into the incinerator will be amusing. Especially if/when they start to bitch over on Reddit...

It's probably going to be revealed early so Traveler trusts her and the reason explained in her main personal quest forced in the story quest (or a twist and she didnt leave). If it's not and only mentioned in some profile voice line then yeah that's so insulting it loops back into funny.
Level 100 is pratically whale locked, there is no way even mid spenders get it, maybe a few after playing for years. It's straight up a luxury for rich people.
Geez, you got XR early? That's the mascot mech. I only have Bluebird (rookie banner), blazer (event) and arcus (free).. Arcus is for double shoulder missile/rocket dps so Naomi (rocket) and eileen (missile).
I felt naomi was hot garbage until i get her quick reload skill and increased her AP regen by 1 by raising her alpha chips to 4. You can see some chips have different "weights", so with 1+1+2 you unlock the second alpha passive (4/7), which is +1 AP regen for dps. You unlock higher weight chip crafitign from simulations.
This is a significant power spike to your team, as units like naomi can spam double rockets every turn. I dont think rockets are that op tbh but depending on the map, being able to weaken a boss from safe distance or snipe a fucker from 6 squares away over obstacles is useful.
I like how this game has a very strong and consistent sense of progression. Even the mech levels are deceptive, with levels 20-21 and 28-29 being much higher upgrades, netting +100~ hp for 5* parts.
Oh yeah, i unlocked the weekly roguelite mode that lets you farm backpacks and haha wtf this is literally just Into The Breach campaign. Random missions, higher risk higher reward, boss after 3-4 fights.
Which i don't mind since i loved into the breach. Weapons are more wacky and there are unique items that give funny things like "When male character is nearby female character, increase his dmg and dodge by 15%".
Takes a little too long to clear imo, but fine, its first time and you can only do it 3 times per week. Pilots who lose parts or die need to rest so having a high variety of viable pilots is worth it here and you need a healer. You can even retreat the mission and try another at any time, how nice.
The poochy event is so low budget i keep forgeting to do it, despite being a single click. You can't even download the art you get...
The genshin subreddit is extremely defensive and goalpost moving. Genshin is "totally different from other gacha cause f2p can win, you have skill issue" until suddendly "you're not entlitled to every reward", "you were never going to get anyway" and blablabla.
(man i sure hope abyss floor 13 with level 130 bosses doesn't happen or these will age badly)
The worst part is that there are many thrash gachas out there that lock LEVELS behind dupes (like dislyte) and are consireded pay 2 win kusoge but hoyo somehow managed to eclipse all of them i ever seen. At this point just sell it ascension for 100 dollars in the shop and it would be less expensive and more fair.

Because I'm a dirty hoe that can't stop pulling on things... Don't hate me cause you ain't me.I found out that if you get all the rare rewards you automatically clear the roulette and take everything else for free. So if you get lucky you get the good shit AND a bunch of resources for free but if you get unlucky it's... not a huge loss but sucks. I think i still have enough tickets saved and from weekly to guarantee eileen next week...

With your c6 Diluc you can guarantee level 100 1 character for free by September 2027 by selecting Diluc on every Anniversary Standard Selector. Earlier if you ever lose your 50/50s to him.
I was gonna choose Mizuki since c2 makes her like a bad Kazuha that needs to be onfield to provide dmg% buff but now I guess I'm selecting Diluc since he's already c6 and I'll get a free 95 character.
