We are reaching 5 years of genshin evolution and i still can't do a picture event because an npc is locked in a sidequest.

Just found out mecarashi has a webstore that cuts down on taxes massively (a dollar goes from 7~ reais to 5,54), it's still somehow more expensive than genshin but doesn't feel like steam is fucking scamming me. The monthly increases daily sweeps and rewinds which i find EVIL but it's not much so ok, could be worse, it's not some pay to win VIP system like some games.

You got spoiled by hoyo high standards but yeah it's not great... It feels like a direction problem cause it does have a few genshin VA's (Sean chiplock and skirk VA) and they're not good here. It's like they were told to do an exaggerated anime voice.

They gave 1000 gems today, good time to start too. btw there is a rookie banner you can reroll forever and get one 5*, i recommend either Frida (good shotgun dps) or melissa (good healer who heals on team attacks) but you get a free healer on day 3. Try to get as many A ranks as you can, i heard eyepatch girl (mary) is decent for a 4* and the black scientist guy (winston) has passive that does fixed hp% dmg on non giants so he stays useful the whole game.

Oh and they added a fucking ROULETE event. A gacha in my gacha.



It's a skin, a 5* dupe selector and 5* mech dupe so it's nothing notably worth for f2p i guess... I'd say save for eileen next week (she can burn the ground with missiles dealing DoT in a large area). If you want someone now, i guess try to get an early rosa for a good dps. William has a banner but he's actually already a on the 50/50 loss so you might get him later. Remember that guarantee from lost 50/50 doesn't carry to other banners.

Took one look at that, realized each was practically a pull and noped right out of the screen. 28 dead draws on something that most current gatchas give for free but are limited in some factor. 4080 gems for a skin that goes to a mech I don't have, two half 10 pulls for banners I'm not interested in, a standard 5* selector and a 5* mech upgrade kit is just not worth it. Replace the 30k money for 10 of the top tier bionic computer upgrade materials and make the skin include a copy of the mech and I might have considered it.

I saw some guides and some people say it's "worth it" because a universal 5* ST + pilot rank up is "more value in rolls" even in the worst case scenario of roulette and i can see that (especially for the mech banner that increases pity) but i'm not sure it's a good "investment" for an early f2p player. I'd much rather get some good dps pilots of roles i'm missing to help me farm and progress faster.

Kinda evil up it's right there in the main menu because a beginner will have no clue what those items do and spend on roulete instead of units.

btw be careful with spending this Super Conductor thing they gave in the mail.

It's a super valuable resource that basically increases your chip space thus enabling extra passives. You only get a few for free by playing events, and they sell a single one for 25 dollars in the shop (wow). Think of them as Genshin crowns but more rare and powerful.

There is no "are you sure?" prompts in this game so not misclick and spend it on someone weak or the wrong person.

Irked at the level requirements to get the next part of the story. New game Gacha luck strikes again: did a random pull on the Marcus banner and pulled him, then threw 80 gems into the roulette and got the jackpot upgrade kit.

But then the gambling addiction took over and i went all in and spent did 44 spins total to clear... with the max being 51.

I found out that if you get all the rare rewards you automatically clear the roulette and take everything else for free. So if you get lucky you get the good shit AND a bunch of resources for free but if you get unlucky it's... not a huge loss but sucks. I think i still have enough tickets saved and from weekly to guarantee eileen next week...

It's not a standard 5* selector (that would be too good) but effectively a blank 5* ascension item that can be used on literally any 5*. It sounds great but the pilot dupes in this game are minor things like +1 AP at start and +6% stats (at least it means everyone is usable at base). The mech rank up is the real prize so you have no reason to spin more.

I think i'll save mine for one of the EVA mechs if i get any, i don't think they ever reran in china.

Genshin found this out the hard way when they tried to appeal more to woman. They had a whole year of male banners and the ones that actually did well were the ones with the female reruns. This hurt them later because they had no back catalog of girls to rerun and had to try and sell new ones to a dwindling player base. The end result was powercreep to get you to stop using 1.0/2.0 girls.

Nahida released in 3.2 Nov 2022 and Furina released in 4.2 Nov 2023. There was no new limited 5* waifu in between them (Dehya was actually in between them but people don't count her for being standard and her kit). It was all new 5* husbandos and the waifu reruns mostly did better. Late Fontaine and Natlan was them course correcting.

It's satisfying seeing another company learn the valuable lesson that the terminally online on social media begging for more males and more niggers or whatever are not your paying customers and catering to them will not give you more money.
