Given the quality of Mihoyo monster design like the Saurians in Genshin, it is disappointing that there is no guy yet who fights alongside a cool looking monster. It's either Aglaea and her weird headless skeleton, the weirdly designed Castorice and her cool big dragon that you are incentivized to dismiss immediately rather than keep present, or the Trailblazer and his cutesy little pink furball.

Just the fact that Aventurine has a dedicated AOE attack that gains charge when himself and allies are attacked (Blind Bet) makes him easily THE top pick for a defensive unit. At least Gepard's still somewhat viable for people who missed the Aventurine banner or joined much later in the game's life (like me). In short, Aventurine is like the Gallagher of Preservation, you can use him on almost every team. I say almost because units like Blade and Mydei exist and don't benefit from shields.

If Dan Heng Triple Boogaloo wants to stand up against Aventurine in the meta, he has to have some kind of unique gimmick that makes him viable for most builds.

Aglaea is a seamtress who fights with strings, headless manequin and double blades, she's cool, the problem is that she represents the 3 moirae sisters of fate and has 3 summons but on practice she only has 1 summon that just works like Topaz, making her and the entire concept of rememberance wasted.

Rememberance in general was fairly underwhelming addition for the sake of selling new cones and bosses. Summons already existed and the class can be anything so it has no idendity besides overloaded kits and wasting two times the mats in talents. There is nothing that couldn't have been done with a new bar, normal summon and follow ups.

I don't know, maybe the summon casts shields just like lingsha's bunny casts heals? And you can "pass" the summon to someone faster to speed it up like topaz pig? Having a summon doesn't make you rememberance.

This is not ellaborated but as the cerydra sub is in high debate over the ethics of gooning, even tho is possible she's probably talking about Tribie or someone else.

Girls Frontline 2 has hit a shitshow with Skin Gatcha with a 100 hard pity and no guarantee. F2P have to hold out for a year to almost get enough Passes. They also released gift boxes that give 90 pulls for $110. Add in the fact the boss fights for events just spin in place instead of moving and are all recycled content means I'm jumping ship before sunk cost factors in.

New stygian released, every boss is cancer. The cactus was so annoying in difficulty 4 i don't even want to try the next one. The real deal is electro charge doing 3x damage but it's a shitty reaction unless you have ineffa who does lunar charge damage that counts but isn't a reaction but her own passive so it's strong.

I regret emilie but, in a way, i'm thankful that she taught me the hard way how pointless tryharding in genshin is currently. There is literally no reason to spend so many rolls on a character you don't like, to beat a mode you hate, for a reward you don't need. It's unsustainable and not worth stressing over. Feels good man.

(btw nodkrai will increase system requirements and genshin is going to end support on PS4 version soon)

Started speed running the Fate event in HSR thanks to someone reminding me I could just skip the dialogue to get to the fighting and claim my jades. Is there any reason to choose anything other than the Rider/Berserker buffs because those have been making short work of the event so far.

This GFL2 situation explains why Yuzhong and his company Sunborn is struggling to keep up with Kurogames and miHoYo despite entering the gacha game market at the same time as them. GFL1's awful 4th anniversary, the entirety of Neural Cloud, and now implementing a "complete gacha" system that is actually illegal in most jurisdictions of the world.

Get rid of Yuzhong immediately. Sunborn's management needs to be replaced from the top down. I've never seen a situation where players demand change so fiercely and in unity across all region servers.
