Random thing that happened to me: I noticed a random genshin friend i made ingame who i haven't seen in forever, has logged just so she would get hu tao birthday mail. They only started genshin because of hutao and the last time she logged was to buy hu tao lantern rite skin, after she already stopped played for a while.

It reminds me how some people are built differently and are more fans of a single character than the game.

btw livestream will be day 18. Since this is MID JULY this will most likely be the NODKRAI CHARACTERS TEASER and reveal all the incoming character.

Did all first try, but shit was tight. Won't even be trying higher difficulties. In conclusion, whale territory starts a bit early in this to my taste.
By the way, same Ayaka team failed to take down that seahorse in the recent abyss fast enough for three stars. Even few times I've knocked it down before it managed to run up at low shields didn't cut it. Kinda unexpected, since I didn't have trouble with anything else on the floor.

Yeah, level 5 is exponentially much harder deal with, tulpa lvl 5 for example gets a shield and the mini tulpies are much harder to kill outside of ice, all bosses require much tighter unit weakness check. This is like they made not only floor 13 but also floor 14.

You don't need Diona there anymore, at that point do abyss with rosaria or xinqiu (do 3 ayaka hits into charge dash). I find seahorse super inconsistent to fight as it will start near invulnerable, moves alot and can fly up earlier, so retrying can help. Could've used nahida on freeze team against it (it has electro shield).

Current abyss updated and it's more of the same, freeze check (overseer and wayob) and mavuika+citlali check (. If you can cover both sides then it's GG again. Not even worth posting my clear. Pro tip: Go after the Geo wayob first and burst before it drains your energy or you aint breaking the geo shield.

Are you a beginner with no 5* yets? If so you should get any strong flexible unit ASAP and Mavuika is on the higher end of the scale. I recommend it.

Mavuika kit
Combo: A normal string of slashes, good dmg but no pyro infusion and not her optimal playstyle.
Tap skill: Creates an aura that zaps enemies with fire around you, even when she's off field.
Hold skill: Enter bike mode, changing moveset and enabling new exploration methods like wall run, flight and water run.
Burst: A single hit strong pyro strike and enters enhanced mode for 7 seconds, boosting bike moset.

Passive: Mavuika doesn't use normal energy like other units, she uses "fighting spirit" that recharges when Natlan units consume their nightsoul bar. She can also use her burst at 50-100% energy and it will scale with the amount of spirit you had.

Ideal Playstyles:
Quickswap: Use skill and burst then leave, try to melt or vaporize her burst hit. Not optimal but strong enough to be worthy.
On field: Burst and do a full charge attack spin attack or 2 cancelled charge spins if you want to optimize reactions.

-Skill is automatic homing fire strikes with good aoe and damage and good uptime. Actually the only pyro 5* who does good support (sorry dehya), making her much more valuable than others.
-Very good C1 and C2 if you want to hyperinvest or hope for an early roll. C1 helps self battery.
-Bike mode is just good exploration in most scenario.
-Extremely strnog and easy to use on practice. Bike charge atk is actually completely immune to interruption.
-Can use the 2 natlan artifact sets and is good at that domain, making her easier to farm gear for.

-Racist passive means you need C1 or a natlan unit to burst every rotation, with the only good supports beting xilonen, iansan c6 and citlali. This isn't a big deal outside of endgame modes tho.
-Bike mode is kinda JANK, especially wall climbing.
-Her personality, design, gameplay and bike are somewhat divisive.
-She requires Natlan boss and materials which can be annoying to get for a beginner to walk all the way there. Her boss doesn't even drop pyro gems either so you'll have to farm pyro regisvine too (you should for XL anyway).

Bonus: Her banner has Iansan, Yaoyao and Xiangling, all 3 very decent 4* to have early on and even late game. Iansan at c2 already makes a good mavuika support, yaoyao is a skill healer who can enable quicken and xiangling is still the only off field pyro dps in the game to this day.

tl;dr: Yes.

Uninstalled both Wuwa and HSR for now. I love both Archer and Saber as characters, but the collab event just didn't do it for me and can't mash my way fast enough through the Amphorius story to get to the good(?) part. The character updates for the older characters makes them feel much better at least.

Wuwa I've run out of content to do so I'm going to give it a chance to build up again. I just don't have it in me to spend days farming echoes.

GFL2 I've been playing to kill time since they have been giving a shit ton of rewards for new/returning players. Anime Xcom is fun when you are like 10 levels lower than recommended since then you actually have to plan stuff out, but the gooner factor to the game is strong and it's honestly a bit off putting at times. Sooner or later I'm going to be in the grind for weapon attachments for the special modes as well for the late game boss rush.

Reddit is not indicative of the entire player base but it's a weird blend of people getting reasonably frustrated with the devs and an unhealthy amount of copium with people willing to defend every single thing going wrong here. Fuck those people.

As for my own experiences, shit is getting buggy. Game camera now tends to launch itself half across the stage and I have to wing it based on sound effects to figure out if I'm actually killing something.

I am so glad I went into this f2p and evidently, people are no longer interested in spending money.

It's not helped that the end game content is nonexistent.

Also Phaenomenas voice lines are glitched. She has no JP voice so I guess JP is no longer going to be added. Would be nice if they would announce that shit but whatever. What's not so whatever is that her voice lines randomly switch over to Chinese during certain actions like when she dies. So either this is an error or they didn't finish the English va work in time..

But if not EOS, then probably shutting down global.

it's actually not that bad, it's more a matter of patience than anything in this game. targeted enhancement chips allow you to eventually max out both the base stats and calibration rolls on your attachments.

this makes phase strike the best set in the game by far because it works on every character regardless of element. you can farm one or two perfect sets and just swap them around using the formation system, making it very efficient compared to the specialized elemental sets

Not much beside more main quest, new zones, Phrolova's specific echo set only requires 3 to get full set bonus. There is also a location to farm Phrolova's set with no waveplate required (limited amounts each day). New automatic system - automatic using tunes when leveling up echoes or keep it manually like currently.
A small event quest to tease Augusta backstory/past. Gameplay is basically Reigns.

Summer resort is a Story Quest, so the zone is permanent. Bennett outfit and 4* Claymore are rewards for the main Summer event.
While Ineffa is Archon Quest prelude. Oh the pixel effect on Ajaw, since Ajaw is a Dragon Sovereign. Ineffa too also has pixel effect, so her core............ Something something fake leak year ago before Natlan about Electro Sovereign girl.....

Yelan quest is a different thing, sets in Fontaine.

Currently going through ZZZs story after taking a super long break from it. Finished 1.7 and what the fuck, we're healing Jesus. Christ what ass lmao.

The Vivian scene was so lame because MHY has zero balls. At least Black Beacon doesn't fuck around.

I hear tell 2.0s story is also retarded so I'm gonna ask this. Is 2.1 retarded as well?

Are we done with the whole Sacrificers nonsense or is it more bullshit where the villain is some emo who doesn't know how to handle grief well?

Edit: lmao they added a feature to the combat missions that basically gives you an automatic S rank if you completed with an A rank and bellow. I don't know if that's generous or patronizing.

Also that deer girl got me like 👀. That's a very cool design. Might use the guarantee on her if someone I want doesn't come before her.... Assuming she's playable.
