It's trucking along alright. But uh, it's a bit worse for wear. Lots of untranslated Chinese text here and there.

Yuli is still mute in Japanese.

...It looks kinda ugly when you zoom in on the models. And I ain't expecting hoyo levels of details here considering it's on mobile only, but I do get a little yikes feeling when we get a close up on the characters.

And with that chart regarding its loss in revenue, I don't even know what to make of it anymore.

One rescue code didn't call me proxy but "mediador" (mediator in portuguese), i assume this was intentional and you're not proxy (hacker) anymore?

I'm still playing persona 5x but it's a slooooow start and there is way too much gacha currency and information to absorb at once, and i say this as a persona player. It feels so cursed to play a soulless gacha wearing the skin of a good jrpg. The persona 5 asthethics and themes are wasted on a nobody mc in a story about nothing. The "subway slammer" thing is cringe and shit but it could work as political commentary except it doesn't cause the mascot has to look at the screen and say "The dark magic made people apathic" so it's not japan's society faults no sire.

Like, i'm 99% the first arc has literally no male human friends at all. You have the mascot who simply dumps exposition nonstop, then i only only talked to 3 girls, saw one being teased and one canonically forced into my party despite being a stranger. Really setting up low expectations...

And for some random fun fact, i found out that doing Skirk personal quest in genshin will actually raise up Traveler stats by 7 atk, 50 hp and 15 EM because you train with skirk. He's still pathetic and has worse than 4* stats but the fact Hoyo CAN literally buff him is really funny as it shows they clearly don't want traveler to be good, so it just feels like throwing salt on the wound.

Not sure if it's me hating Skirk, playing through her quest feels like a drag. Her past keeps going on and on. Oh right, "we"/MHY almost forgot, the quest must have an antagonist at the end and the Traveler's strong will of keep moving forward to bond with inner Skirk emotion. Similar how the Traveler influencing Mizuki in a positive way.
Oh please, the Traveler is too busy with festivals, fun events and a "janitor" to other nations. But when it comes to against their sibling, they are useless. Yeah, "strong will of keep moving forward".

Then again I check youtube length, story quest from her and Escoffier are like 2h30 long. Meanwhile, Natlan characters are already 2h long. This is what players are gonna get when Nod-Krai comes with integrated characters story into Archon quest.

Since Lantern Rite, with Zhong Li gave advice to Traveler going back for Hu Tao. All I'm gonna say, Traveler is a dum dum. It has been years and yet Traveler still not figure out about things they do not need to follow Teyvat Rule and even Heavenly Principles law.
Reading the Skirk training, it's like teaching to an idiot.

The archon quests would do many things to "show off" the Traveler contributing a lot, for other quests Traveler ability to think for themselves and capability is just "plot demands so" since they are such an non existent character. World quests, they can be quite good on their own. Companion side quests are mostly taking a back seat to promote/boast the limited 5* more. Meanwhile, anything to sibling, the Traveler will become maximum angst and doubtful to any "strangers".

Idk what the old anecdote chronicles are like, literally all current anecdotes have zero Paimon involvement in it. I don't even remember Paimon appearance in any of them.

I finished HSRs storyline during the weekend and it literally sums up as "being Phainon is suffering".

Also, this is were the budget went:


This quest was rather short. I think I spent more time trying the rewards from the bird event. The new map was also tiny and there really wasn't much to do. I suppose this is because of the collab coming up later this week.

I thought her quest would end at least 2 times and it didn't. It felt like 2 or 3 quests at once. You have the traveler training, the skirk flashbacks and muh trauma and the surtalogi lore dumps so it feels rushed and padded at the same time. It suffers frmo the same thing as Paralogism, having too much stuff at once and is an another foreshadowing for the "integrated story and character quests".

I also hate how Skirk explicitly says "so yeah, i'm from a different planet" like genshin is finally honkaifying out loud. The new story quest also has the unironic reveal that traveler simply has a spaceship that was never a real word used at the game at any point.

Skirk is the most generic "cold sensei who sacrificed all emotion for power but is actually super tragic and traumatized waifu who could use a friend" that hoyo must consider peak anime writing. But she is also written by otakus who only watch anime so she says fake deep stuff like "Empty your mind" and "The sword is an extension of your body" and the training is you swining literally +900 times and that somehow made you super strong and sensei is a a genius. (Never mind that traveler should be older than her and a god tier fighter already).

It's the same thing with March 7 training where it really boils down to Yanqing and yunli arguing speed vs power and realizing both is good (wow).

The Traveller has faced automatons, leviathans, dragons, harbingers, living chess pieces, literal gods and Skirk's training boils down to "Hit x targets in a certain amount of time, dodge lasers". Got Yae Miko training PTSD flashbacks. Not because it's hard, but because it's a drag and goes on for much longer than it needs to.

Plus all this explicit bullshit about planets and spaceships make me miss when all the Honkai stuff in Genshin was basically, oh look, the archons resemble Honkai characters. Somehow the Honkai-ification is killing the magic of Teyvat for me.

Oh it will get worse. Ineffa's weapon lore leaked and it seems there were legit space wars and natlan dragons outright created Ineffa and artificial moons that were destroyed later. Nodkrai will have unironic space tech and moon powered stuff.

In the cutscene we see hydro traveler outright bubble the "fake surtalogi" into full immobility which is not only absurd but isn't even what what it does in normal gameplay. Cutscene traveler has to basically cheat and use different powers.

It's a really shitty 4* banner tho. It's not on american server yet, if you're willing to gamble i'd say "build pity" on the skirk/shenhe weapon banner, at least 30-40 cause you might get one or two xiphos.
