btw hoyo has finally started the beta for the promied "mario maker mode" (user generated content mode) where people can create worlds using genshin assets and engine,. This mode is currently on genshin launcher itself but it will probably have it's own launcher because it's an entirely different "game", and even creating content for it requires programming and unreal engine knowledge. It will have up to 20 players per lobby and character customization, with both battle pass and gacha banners for costume bundles. Even voice chat (allegedly). It will likely release in 6.0.

In all seriousness, though, it is...something else playing this in combination with HSR and Amphoreus. Had a weird feeling when the game was all like "THE DARK TIDE CAME AND RUINED EVERYTHING" because I was thinking of HSR and the Black Tide coming and ruining everything. Far be it from me to call ripoff even if it's...very intersting for lack of a better word how HSR gave us fantasy Greece in space, and suddenly WuWa also gives us fantasy Greece. That said, I'm willing to believe it's just one big coincidence since the two areas look nothing like one another, even if they are Greco-Roman inspired.

as others said part of it is intentional due to zoomer brainrot and where it's supposed to be played (mobile game in small chunks), but another aspect is that's the cheapest and most laziest way to do "challenge". planning and execution in a slower game is something where you can overcome numbers to a degree, but having to inflict X damage in a specific amount of time doesn't leave much room if you can't. just roll harder.

fwiw I think people aren't dumb (in that regard at least), if you make it too obvious the casuals will leave, and while they might not spend much money compared to the whales, whales only do so in "popular" games where they can flex. no one cares if they drop whole paychecks in a dead game.
it's similar to how games start to become generous the moment the numbers drop, whales gonna whale anyway, so who is it for then? ironically that happens soon after/before the squeezing starts to extract as much money as possible while they still can.

By that point you just play VR chat no? I think hoyo will try to control but even without hacked serves i don't know how they'll manage because roblox and these social stuff for kids always end in degeneracy.

I expect Haitham/Kaveh erotic roleplay servers by day 1 and in a few months we'll see some grooming allegations.

I'm too jaded to not see this as depressing, genshin would never do this. I actually redownloaded zzz and played a bit more so i could get the free stuff in case i ever play for real later. I don't know who is good but i got Lycaon and i heard brimstone is a universal weapon so i got that one. Am i bricked chat?

I didn't see any TV mention so i guess tv is dead? Even in the code i put here the message calls me mediator instead of proxy now.

And unlike i said, i didnt start Persona 5x until today and only played the tutorial until the rolling part. The game is really "persona 5 but china" (it starts exactly like p5 but it's a dream) and dumps a lot of information at once and the mc is veeeeery bland. That said, i like how the game has more potential depth than other gacha rpgs.

For starters, it's not an effectively 1 button game like star rail. Everyone has attack, gun with ammo, actual mana points, 3 spells that can use hp% or mana, ultimate, defend and items (maybe not endgame). Hitting a weakness lets you do an extra attack (of fixed element?) with someone else that can also hit weakness and keep chaining. The game still elemental "combos" like p5 (winded enemies take more fire dmg and vice versa)

Units can also have different elemental coverage and support spells. Joker for example has 3 MP-costing curse spells with different purposes (aoe+1 stack, single that generates 2 stacks and a spell that is stronger on extra turn) and his gimmick is getting a free turn at 5 stacks. Morgana has a group heal, a wind spell and hp-costing physical and his healings can crit. The main character is mandatory but can switch personas (their own gacha) so his moveset changes?

They give you 20 standard rolls on start (pathetic) and they must've heard some backlash cause for the next few days they're giving a 10 pull of currency too. I rerolled until i got Joker Persona5.

Of course, the game still has powercreep as seen by china server hindsight and i don't know how the endgame, farm and currency is but it's nice to see a turn based gacha rpg that tries to have, ya know, real jrpg things like freaking mana points. I'm not super excited tho, it's a slow start so i'll see how it keep playing or not.

Do note that there is a minor controversy recently about the soft pity apparently not existing in global version and people consintently having to roll up to hard pity (80). In CN you're very unlikely to reach hard pity.

 
If anyone wants to get Lupa, at least Brant seems to rerun next patch. Brant does even more damage than Lupa and fully utilizes Lupa's buff, almost a working team option there.
I'm saving til Augusta and Iuno, so it's gonna be a loooonnnggg. At least, I know that they are making highly specific echo-set for each new characters. I don't have to worry much farming and saving echo til then and I'm working on something else......

I'm not even see it as depressing, more like pathetic. They could have just add different code names and it looks fine imo. Like Wuwa added summer video names as codes. They act like everything they did was trash and horrible, now they've changed and improved for the better. Seriously, wtf is this? FF14 A Realm Reborn? Reminder they are still one of the top world wide video game company, not an indie.

Yes, you are. Imo, all standard option are bricked with current limited units. You just have the least bricked options. All of standard are more of being carried hard by limited 5* units. As usual for progression, they are fine except Grace and Nekomiya.

For P5 PhantomX, that the original writer got removed, Phantom X director Yusuke Nitta (writer for P5 Royal, Strikers and Tactica) steps in, Typically, later chapters will get better. Chinks are just that bad at writing story and the ego.

It's depressing to me as in, "man, i hope zzz devs aren't desperate enough to genuinely be thanking people for not leaving them and they're actually being fake for PR". I think nobody here plays it but i heard 2.0 "open world" without loading screens is unoptimized and if you didn't like the game before, removing tv isn't enough to bring you back.

The brick thing was sarcastic, i know the standards were all powercrept but at least it's free wolfman.

Oh i'm aware, but it wasn't the chinks, it was atlus who fucked up. The chapter 1 villain is too culturally japanese to not have been written by japs and P-studio always supervised the game. The chinese devs in interview made it clear it was from japanese side.


I'm actually into the chapter 1 story being shit and is part of why i'm trying, i need to see if lives to the hype. A gacha with hilarious retarded story sounds great tbh (not snowbreak, that's retarded but unfunny).
 
Was it honestly a surprise that ZZZ fucked up a year after its' launch? Few pages ago had people immediately seeing double banners of a game that wasn't even past the 1st year. That is a sign of desperation.
