She sounds like Minnie Mouse with a speech disability, but honestly, I think it's a kinda cute-sounding voice and not at all grating.

Paimon is kinda retarded so it fits.
 
Aw man, I really wanted to like or tolerate Etheria. Sure, I avoid the PVP like the plague (AI teams not withstanding. I am not playing live) and there is little to do aside from farming, but I treated it like a neat idle game.

That said....there is very little to do and your farming is kinda fucked becuase the diffiuclty for farming is on par with high level endgame content. Granted, I understand why; it's to make sure that there's more of a balance to the PVP. That's why it's so absurdly difficult to ascend characters or upgrade their skills, especially for F2P. Fuck that, if you're a whale though so I guess that's a moot point comsidering whales and dupes.

You can't get even the epic (middle of the road, think 4* relics and artifacts) of certain sets because they are locked behind the utmost hardest of farming bosses. So you're kinda limited in your character-building options. Certainly, I could stomach this more if I could get the Fury set and it's just the epic version instead of outstanding, but I have to beat the hardest bosses just to get epic Fury set? That's retarded.

Imagine in Genshin, and you wanted to build Venti, but you're forced to use the Berserker artifacts on him because you're barred from getting the Viridescent Venerer. Not 5* only, you can't get the set at all. Not even the 4* version.

Hit lvl 40 and so got a new mode, Etheria Rally but it's like late stage abyss and it's rough as fuck. Which is fair. I expected that; I didn't expect it from my fucking farming.

So honestly, everything except like the earliest content feels like late end-game content, which is not good.

On top of that, the community appears to be melting down. They announced a bunch of maintainace and hot fixes (there are often maintanace. Shit's worse than my ISP) and that's what it is - until you look at what it actually is and it's a bunch of stealth-nerfs and boss buffs. "Meta characters are no longer meta unless you get dupes, and even then it varies" - kinda nerfs.

No wonder my Gray has been absolutely fucking useless lately. Bosses can easily kill him in two hits.

Like for example, one of the threshold bosses you grind for gear got super buffed, so she's now immune to debuffs and DoT. People didn't take this well because the devs "called it a bug leftover from beta". Characters had their skills nerfed, which was also stated to be "bugs from beta".

Also there were issues with people spending money in the game; they were charged twice or thrice for a single purchase. Shit man, even if I wanted to be a fish, I sure as shit ain't doing it now. Go in as a goldfish, come back as a blue whale. No, thank you.

Lastly, as an event, they added a fucking betting game. You bet on other players in some kind of tournament and hope for the best. LMAO, what?

My god, is it just a law of the universe that every gacha game releasing this year stumbles out the door and falls flat on its fucking face? There was Black Bacon, then Rememento, and now this.

What, is Silver and Blood gonna fuck up next?

Speaking of that hot mess (ACTUAL NOT SOFT BUT ROCK HARD) global launch tomorrow. I uninstalled it and I ain't touching it ever again but I am curious to see how shit will go. Alternatively, they might just delay it and announce it on the day of release. That would be fucking funny.

The June 18th date is not actually the hardening of the global launch. It's their 6-month anniversary. Actual global won't come before July 9th. Ignoring the global that we have, but ssshhhhh.

They announced a bunch of fixes but mainly smoother animations, and smoother background transitions and less ugly visuals and shit like that. They announced fixes for issues but not a word about controller support, resource optimization or that weird gltich where the launcher fucks off or fullscreen mode has a fit.

Rather we get;
ㆍResolved an issue with the account deletion feature and restored the account deletion button.
- Account deletion was actually a thing, if memory serves, but it was removed becusae people rerolled too much. Saw lots of people on the official sub complain about it. They even got error messages in MoonSpeak when updating or uninstalling.

ㆍFixed an issue where the same account could access both the Korea and Global servers.

ㆍFixed an issue where Ferrancy's hair reflections appeared excessively bright at specific times of day.

Of course, they did also fix some glaring shit that not even I encoutnered.

Just from the leaked audio alone, the new Paimon voice is leaps and bounds better than Corina. Her voice was just fine throughout the Mondstadt AQ, but then she just pitched it up until Paimon was a shrieking rat. Obviously, lines are recorded at least a couple months in advance, so we'll see if these lines are for 5.7, or if they're early 5.8 lines.
It's funny how Corina went from "I need this job to pay my medical bills and put food on the table", to "I left Genshin when they replaced Jacob John." This job must've not been that important to her if she decided to quit. She's gotta be a compulsive liar or something because every time she opens her mouth, her story changes.

Paimon (and Keqing) getting new English VA's is irrefutable proof that a God MAY exist. Now we just need Sucrose and Candace to get new VA's. (...Maybe Hu Tao?)

Yes, they should just remove Rover throwing card and dealing damage to opponent health.
It's also kinda buggy with 2x speed, any range echoes always miss their projectile because AI calculation is mismatched with AI in game speed. Once I saw two boars kept doing charge-ramming attacks, they always missed each other til the bloody timer kicked in.

Fellian Beringal deck is too easy to play with its strength comparing to other decks playstyle. The car echo is stupidly broken and how Brant can cheat with it. Wow, imagine free scaling damage overtime to opponent health even if you lost the round. Although I find Inferno Rider can counter Fellian Beringal healing quite reliably.

Even if some Echo themselves do not give interesting benefits, their good attack moveset still quite valuable. Looking at Questless/Nocturnal Knight and Abyssal Gladius.
 
I saw the supposed new paimon voice but didn't post here since i don't believe it yet, i want to see it ingame.

Another abyss, another mavuika and neuvilette simulator. Escoffier is so overpowered jesus christ i feel bad for anyone without her.

Also rip kinich, he had one good run, now it's fatfuck dino and cryo check, i hope never see lava dragon until his rerun. I couldn't tell why it took longer to kill it this time but then i found out they keep increasing base hp every single natlan abyss..

This fatfuck will probably have 11 million hp by 6.6, i wonder if they will unironically powercreep mavuika eventually like they did with raiden.

This was a better run than the first. First run had Lopera instead of F22, which meant no cleanse. Also, Anjo's ult was never on CD, as shown by the damage chart

Also rip Moze. Still the last 4* HSR got. It must have been...almost a year at this point if memory serves.

Meanwhile Genshin has gotten like 5 in that same time frame.
