Also, I saw the trailer for CN's 2 year anniversary, and holy shit, I'm hyped. We're still months away from 2.8 in global, but this is what's coming up.
 
Black Beacon has gotten itself a PC version, maybe so you don't have to fiddle with emulators. I guess this is their attempt at a PC client or something to placate the masses until they get shit down properly.

I'm a little put off by this, but that's probably because I've been spoiled by Kuro and MHY and don't need a middleman like Google or some beta version of whatever the shit this is.

Also I had a weird as fuck conversation with someone the other day who came across Ananta and wrote the whole thing off as a clone of Spiderman 2 for the PlayStation 4. That was something else.

It's been able to run like that since the beginning, but it runs and looks like ass and it has no controller support. I used Steam's desktop layout and mapped BB's buttons to a controller. However, it wasn't pleasant to work with because you couldn't control the game's camera or skill charges. They also banned the use of emulators, so you're SOL until they release a client themselves, which is probably not happening.

Their Discord is a mess, with hardly any life in it. They have no mods, just a bot. The reddit is in flames. It's apparently not doing well in China despite their efforts to please the chink players by giving them more rewards than global, which of course has rustled the jimmies of the global players.

In WuWa news, for the first time ever, I was able to fully clear ToA. I'm so retarded in this game I swear.

For so veteran and huge brand in Western gaming industry like Blizzard and Riotgames, MHY current status is definitely what they kinda want to be. World wide brand and have enough fck you money to do whatever they want so making bunch of games with different genre.
I don't hate it, some much smaller or indie studios (game designers or artists in general) want to do different genre but they can't because they are known for making this kind of genre.

Blizzard with everything related to Warcraft (who cares about Starcraft) and Riotgames with League. MHY is just gonna recycling and milking Honkai again, again and again. Or THE MOOOOONNNN haunts you. Like bunch of supposedly "Animal Crossing" leaks, I was kinda dumb not thinking about racoon in ZZZ 2.0 teaser may share some design with AC leaks. Maybe the thiren bunny girl too.

I mentioned Yixuan being combination of Ningguang and Eula before, but only til recently I notice her shares similar outfit with FeMC in Honkai 3rd second phase too.
May MHY be expanding their "empire" and get more players rather than tribalism drama. May the Japs are more willing to step up their games in competition :optimistic::optimistic::optimistic::optimistic::optimistic:.

Edit: This ToA isn't that bad, but thanks to being able select difficult level trial one by one and not forcing entire team do one tower only. Can complete entire ToA with 2 and a half team. Only the Sentry boss fight in middle tower is time wasting.

I did actually check the reddit after you mentioned this and oof yeah it's a shit show. I recall a few weeks ago where everyone was falling over themselves to praise the game and now we're here.

I might just follow the drama instead of the game at this point. It's my Snowbreak.

Also finally beat Protocol X4 in simulated universe. Thank you, blessings and Ruan Mei because Jesus fuck. If anything I made short work of Hoolay the dumb cunt but I really do need to pull on more light cones.
 
I will say Zani is super comfy to play. Even 6/6/6 skills I was doing upward of 30k damage during her ult with 18 stacks from Phebes and middling echoes. The only thing I hated was farming Hecatye or however it's spelled. Really bad at that fight for some reason.

I would have fucking shot myself if Calcharo derailed that train...again. Time to see if I can get either his or Zani's weapon.

I'm so thankful that WuWa has different gooblies for weapons and characters.

Edit: @Dollar Store Sentai I feel your pain regarding Hecate. If it makes you feel better, I suck dick against Lorelei. My game also lags hard as fuck against her but only her (it never happens with any other boss for some reason) so it makes the fight a chore. Thankfully Phoebe is the only character I have who needs her remains and Phoebs is maxed out so good riddance.
