I hope she has a likable personality ala Clara or Klee or Encore from WuWa and not annoying as fuck (Dori, Hook or that blue annoying loli also from WuWa) or is creepy. like...I thankfully don't have any examples.

Has anyone used their genshin elixirs? I have 5 of them so i can make a custom artifact but i'm scared of them still ending up thrash... My current ideas are
-Pyro crimson witch goblet with CD/CR: It's pyro on pyro so it's a flexible piece, but i only currently use CW on diluc.
-Dendro deepwood goblet with CD/CR: It's dendro on dendro but my nahida uses em and haitham uses gilded. Would be great if i had emilie i guess.
-Atk% codex sands with CD/CR: I only dropped two atk% sands after months and they're awful so mavuika oculd use this. The problem is that there is still potential to go wrong and mavuika doesnt use ER or care much about EM. This would only cost 2 elixirs tho.
-hp% gold troupe sands with CD/CR: This is a targeted furina piece cause i never got one good sands for her and she's using an off piece with on piece hp goblet.
I could make a bis goblet for scaramouche or navia but i really dont see myself farming the rest of their sets.

i got one decent piece from it
but i also got an atk% sand that rolled terribly and i trashed it. the fact that you can only choose 2 of the stats and it starts with 3 instead of 4 still leaves a lot of room for awful rolls, especially considering how long it takes to get elixirs. i've just been saving the rest of them for a rainy day

I recently made 3 BiS artifacts for my recent pulls. Obviously the sub stats were mid to bad, and a few level ups went to them instead of what I wanted, but after 3 weeks of grinding for BiS main stat and getting fuck all, I'll take it.

I’ve been using them, but mostly because I’ve had a few characters I’ve been using some very questionable Artifacts for. Granted I largely ignored most substats until like, Fontaine, and I’ve been playing almost since Day 1.
I accept that I’m going to get fucked by the RNG on what my other subtats are and what goes up at level ups, but like I said - I’ve been working with some actual scuffed shit. It DID lead to my Arlecchino getting a Pyro Goblet with a 20% Crit DMG/15% Crit Rate substat, so I can’t complain too much about the RNG, but that’s a definite outlier (the other substats were shit, if ya’ll were wondering…)

Bruh, i think an on set elemental goblet with 50 crit value is a bit better than "cant complain too much" lol. That's 5 perfect crit rolls. I dont think i have any piece with 50 CV at all.
Man, i was literally going to type how the worst part of prefarming for mavuika was that i dropped 4 codex pyro goblets and all of them were terrible only to get this okay piece just now.
I'm a big ER and EM defender but Mavuika cant use the first and doesnt get much from the second so farming for her is haaaard but this will do for now, even if the ER is wasted.
BTW leakers are saying that 5.4 will have two 5* and iansan will be 5*, which i actually believe but also makes me think Iansan will be on standard banner, which doesnt inspire confidence after Dehya's powerlevel...

I don't know if they changed the weighting on Artifact RNG for Custom Artifacts, but the fact that it by itself made Arly go BRRRR through... basically anything not immune to Pyro is probably a sign.
And that second bit is why I don't prefarm anything but Ascension Mats that I can actually obtain - worst case, I have Mats instead of potential Dead Artifacts, regardless how quickly they're likely to put Mavuika back on a new Rate Up.

I actually don't hate Mavuika anime song trailer, it's pretty cheesy and self-embraced. Also, at least EN version doesn't botch this time. They have a proper singer instead of VA. Only JP version is VA herself.
All possible music technology is already established since Itto's singing event and even last year Lantern Rite Dvorak performance. In Dvorak case, despite without any proper (physical) orchestra band on screen in Liyue, his music was still being performed by one.
Whining: I'm not really feeling it for Genshin (future contents and how MHY handling the game) now, I'll probably take a break after this patch, or worse quitting.

also 15 rolls + 5 standard for free, another 10 at the end of january (so can't be used on the carlotta banner)
we'll see, I think hoyo is well aware of the current reception, to the point I wonder if they'll try to over-correct and fuck it up further in a different way. tbh pushing 2 5* both in 5.3 and 5.4 reeks of cashing out/squeezing to make up in reduced revenue already (as in "if people want all those characters they totally gonna open their wallets!").
but I agree game's somewhat in a slump. finally finished natlan zones for the events, and ochkanatlan was as great as previous highs in the game, but otherwise I didn't even pay attention enough to know the patch hits tomorrow (more focus on wuwa 2.0 the day after that). didn't even bother with buying the BP this time because with all the crap like IT and the ridiculous elixir BS which, quite frankly feels more like an insult at this point I'm not feeling it either anymore. I just hope wuwa puts in proper echo crafting first (apparently it already is in PGR), none of that half-assed shit. unlikely, but still...
EDIT: not even hating on natlan, I actually like that they went with something different than just another "X but fantasy" from a source not used that often, and not even the bike-archon triggers me that much. it feels more like a culmination of various little things that added up over time.

Doesn't help that Sumeru and fontaine were super innovative and fun with dendro and diving but Natlan's main gimmick is dinosaur mode and vehichles which is cute but not thaaat fun. Natlan also added the time gated gems for exploring that were supposed to encourage playing but ironically might lead to fomo driven burnout. The "new direction" with characters is worse too imo and i fear they'll take the honkai approeach and drop 2 new 5* every 1-2 patches.

Mauvika is here, i didnt get neuvi C1 and saved my guarantee for her and the spares for Citlali but then i got Dehya'd on citlali's banner and now i'll wait to see if she's that great or not. She's already 80 1/8/6 and here are some small first impressions
-My mavuika has 109/164 crit with codex and 24% ER wasted (rip)
-Mavuika skill has 15 second CD. Tap skill is the auto homing firestrikes that last about 15s of bar, while hold is the bike that lasts around 9s.
-The thing the game doesn't tell you that, attacks during mavuika skill actually burn through your NS meter faster. During combat the tap skill lasts ~12s and the bike mode burns when do anything, even if you don't hit enemies.
-The tap ring will throw 6 firestrikes every 2 seconds for 6 pyro applications. The bike mode is enough for 1 charge attack or 2 full combos + 3 swings.
-The burst gives you 7 seconds of a super mode that buffs your bike and stop fuel consumption, which is just enough for 1 super empowered charge attack. This also leads to some bizarre anti-sinergy with codex since you lose the buff for at least 1 second.
-You mileage will vary but i don't like how the bike controls. She doesn't move instantly in the direction you hold and has to turn the bike for half a second. Climbing also feels janky cause the bike magnetizes to shit i wasn't trying. She also has this spinning animation when she goes in/out of bike that feels bad when Xilonen transitions super seamless.
-The bike feels like a mix of a Natlan mobility but worse than everyone because it's shorter and has a hard cap. Like, whenever you climb/swim/float a second bar appears that makes you drop out of bike regardless of nightsoul so she can't do any puzzles. Also, she only climbs straight up and doesn't elevate while floating.
-Her burst does not recharge out of combat despite burning fighting spirit. It also has a rather long animation.
-You better have xilonen cause her skill+2kicks recharges 45% of mavuika's ult instantly. Her super mode also scales with how much energy the burst had and more than doubled her damage at 100% (going to 14k outside burst to +30k spins with just xilonen buffing.)
-Powerwise i think she's ok but only hits notably hard during her burst, which is 1 charge for 7s like i said.
-Her normal attacks have surprisingly decent scaling so if you want to play her with xinqiu and bennet pyro infusion i think you probably can (unlike dehya who feels like hard copium).
(Sorry diluc but WGS has a new holder for now)
TL;DR: Mavuika is kinda janky, exploration is a worse mix of natlan units and she needs her burst (and xilonen) to do a super strong spin for 7 seconds. Off field she's kinda of a better dehya with much better aoe, uptime and range.
I did not get Citlatli but some first impressions i got from her test were
-Her shield is NOT zhongli level. It straight up broke multiple times when i wasn't looking and this is a citlali with her Sig giving 365 EM. If you think she'll be tanking abyss with TTDS i'm not so sure.
-Her cryo application felt too slow to solo enable melts like theorycrafters were guessing. Maybe with a xinqiu and a slow pyro like yanfei.
-Her skill snowstorm is tied to nightsoul which requires burst + melt/vape reaction which was harder to maintain than it sounds with Gaming (i dont know why they didnt give yanfei). Breaking her shield also stocks the snowstorm.
BONUS CODES:
WAM5UWWU28NV = Very few resources and 3 mavuika and citlali flowers
MAVUIKAWISHES = 30 gems and mavuika's dish
Also the next beta is leaking and the next 5* will be Mizuki from inazuma, an Anemo catalyst healer that scales with EM and has a combat state during her skill and she should be added to standard banner. Yes, we getting our second anemo healer on standard before a geo unit...
