really don't know what to make of him, from the description he looks like an onfielder (it doesn't mention his stuff triggers off-field), which means c6 for max effect - which is kinda pointless to actually go for with 4* unless you roll for the 5* anyway. if he's just a buffbot it matters less, but haven't really looked into it.
granny will have the same exploration effect apparently, plus waifu. being cryo she's probably equally fucked as senhe or wrio, if you want her best grab her now or wait another 2 years or sth...
He seems super weak actually, more like a weaker fischl that has AoE, can hold cinder city set and requires electrocharge to get small personal buffs. Another character clearly balanced around cinder city set.

I mostly want him for collection and exploration purposes, not having to search for a bat dinosaur whenever i see a graffiti puzzle and doing free big jumps would be nice. At worst i can also use him in a quicken team with tighnari/nahida.

I happened to have 79 pity on standard banner, and got my first 5* weapon. Cool.

Which one was it 👀? The standard 5* weapons can range from top tier to actually bad (aquila). If it was Jade Spear then you got the best end of the deal. Dont forget to always buy the "free" stardust monthly store fates.

btw i rolled on Sunday too and spent my guarantee i had from losing on feixiao on him. I haven't been playing HSR in a while cause i can't stand farming anymore and the werewolf and rappa stories are soooo slow i quit.

I know i said here before that farming in genshin is worse than honkai but i changed my mind. Farming speed boots with good substats is cancer, there is no off piece, more useless substats and i'm not convinced energy ropes are real. It's not even that much faster either. It takes me 22 seconds to clear the natlan domain with nahida/bennet/kazuha and it takes longer in HSR cause they have two waves and a boss.

Really not looking foward to farming for sunday...

One plus side for farming for Jingliu and Sparkle is I had a Set ready for Sunday. Sad thing is I need to give him less speed. Right now he is faster than Jing Yuan which screws with his rotation.

As far as i know you need self modeling resin to materialize them. It's also a pain to farm ornaments because you need to grind a full simulated run and hope it's good, so it's my most hated gear to farm (imagine if Genshin forced you to do a +30-60 minute long domain every week before you could farm) and i avoid it unless its double drop.

Speed tuning my bronya to 134 speed with 2pc hibrids took me forever, that's the worst part with these action advance units, get "lucky" to roll speed multiple times and now you're faster than the carry. At least robin was easy to build, just stack attack and ult whenever you feel like it.

BTw Robin also advances the Remembeance summons so she should become even better and actually synergizes with sunday.
 
I just Acheron through DU picking as many Occurrence/Reward/Adventure domains as I can. Runs usually take me about 10 minutes.

Been running Sunday and Robin together with Aventurine to try synergies. So far they are pretty nice, but I need more attack on Jing Yuan.

He's an off field/sub-dps. He only needs enough field time to throw out his skill/burst. He's pretty much built for electro-charged/taser comps but being Electro means he's a more flexible Cinder City carrier as well.
He pairs very well with Chasca which is probably not an accident since she can trigger all of his passive talents as long as you have a hydro team member. I dunno if his damage is quite comparable to Fischl's but his ability to provide Cinder City buffs makes up for it. His damage certainly doesn't feel insignificant though.
Trailing off from that, there was also a buff to various transformative reactions that went mostly ignored but now Electro-Charged, Superconduct, Overcharged, and Shatter (lol) all have higher damage multipliers, up to like 30% per instance for some of those reactions. While they still don't scale as well as Vape/Melt, it's a visible increase. It's absolutely still not worth it to build around Superconduct or Shatter but already strong comps like taser and Chevreuse Overload are gonna get a nice little boost.

Is it playable on steam deck?
It is, but it's NOT running optimal on there. I would argue the mobile version runs better.

All guides still work, however you have to skip the step where you delete the install application you added to steam via the "add non steam game" because that deletes the folder including the game.

Updates unexpectedly work even though your game will constantly tell you that there is not enough space.But you will not be able to pre install the patch because of that.
 
just got reminded why I haven't really looked at ororon much, and which is an indicator of 5.x is in general: hoyo getting fucking sloppy. outright translation issues in 5.0 (which never really happened before), ororon wasn't tested with gamepads AT ALL. considering it's a playstation game and now even on xbox, like wtf were they thinking.
originally you couldn't charge with L2, you had to use a face button - which while hovering was a pain in the ass. ok now this got fix... but there is NO FUCKING WAY TO SHOOT UNLESS YOU RELEASE THE BUTTON. if you're used to shoot with R2 like all other bows work, nope, get fucked. and it's not even an integral functionality like "drop after shooting", you're still hovering like before.

it sounds miniscule, but compared to how they ran the game the 4 years prior...

EDIT: it also reminded me that mualani still doesn't burst immediately when you switch while sprinting. no idea if that works with keyboard using the shortcut directly, on gamepad again there's a noticable delay where you surf off for a second hammering the button.

It's the most egregious example I've seen so far, but I've also noticed a general decline in the translation quality over the last few patches. Really the obvious QC shit like this and other typos bothers me slightly less than the slow but steady infiltration of Current Year slang.

The room home design event thing is weirdly cute. So is the new outfit for Pom Pom. The dialouge however is cringe at times though.

Currently putting stock into Aventurine. He's a smarmy Cunt but I've grown fond of his cuntness in a "love-hate" way and it helps that he's pretty good.

Aquila is actually underrated. If you can get enough ER from artifacts it's one of the top tier weapons for bennet buff since only stuff factored into the buff are burst level and base ATK. Base atk is what you get from leveling up + the weapon's ATK and Aquila is in the highest base ATK sword group (674). Also outside of that it's not bad as a stat stick. While you expect physical DMG% to be shit (it is) it also has unconditional 20% ATK stat in the passive with some chip healing. So if you're not pulling 5star weapons its actually pretty nice. Actual shit standard weapon reward would probably go to Skyward Pride.

Skyward Spine. Gave it to Xiangling until further notice.

Free Harumasa and along with upgrade mats up to LV40. Confirmed two banners will start at the same time, no rerun banner was mentioned.
Story contents update, should be the final big one for this entire 1.x patches.
New Hollow Zone game mode, with taking cues from WuWa - Illusive realms. Players can have the game mode boosting under-levels chars to certain amount to be playable. And collecting "upgrades" for even more game changing gameplay. Also more weekly bounty rewards Hollow zone.
New end game mode rotates every 3 week. Getting rewards basing on score. Three bosses to fight but players are only allow to used characters once. Aka, must having at least 3 teams consisting different chars. But if players are good enough, finishing two bosses should have sufficient score to get all rewards.
Shiyu defense node, if players completed S-rank at final node. They are automatically skip first 3 nodes next time.

Phones can delete old quest data to free up space. This function will apply for PC "soon".
TV section now is more like "3D mario", should be more seamless transitioning between platforming and combat section. But old TV-section can still be toggled to play if players want to.
Trust event, getting to Lv2 trust can let players having "dating" - going around with each other and there maybe specific spot for special dialogue and reward. After completing those trust events, players can even have a free roam with Agents for a while.
Other than that, more UI optimization - less navigating menu around.
 
Aquila is in the highest base ATK sword group
Not the highest. Eolas sword has 741. We just don't have a one-handed one with this stat distribution.
I'm likely to pull on the Zhongli/Neuvillette banner, but which is better to pull for?
Neuvilet does damage(a lot). Zhongli does shield(best in the game, somewhat shreds damage resistances of nearby mobs as a bonus). Ideally I'd recommend both, and they work well together.
