They'll never make a 4* good as bennet, xiangling and xinqiu again, their powerlevel definitely feel like accidents since mihoyo didnt fully understand their own systems back then (fun fact xinqiu ult had no internal cooldown on release and they patched one later).

Seems lot of people are actually mad Mavuika doesn't powercreep bennet and xiangling

Tbh we had shitty 4* on release too (xinyan) and even 5* (keqing and qiqi). To be fair, we dont need units strong as bennet and XL, but even passable niche 4* would work fine but for some reason the devs hate a lot of units for no reason. Dehya, Traveler, Kaveh, Aloy, Dori etc can't possibly be accidents, hoyo wanted them to be terrible. It's not like it would kill the game if Thoma generated 4 particles.

Pyro traveler is especially funny cause for some reason Traveler gets significant kit upgrades ONLY when fighting the new Weekly boss (probably mainstory boost), so the devs could give him a decent kit if they wanted, but they won't.
 
If I'm being honest, I don't really feel needing Mavuika that much. Maybe I'll get her on rerun after bunch of Natlan chars release and if I want more Natlan chars can be used in same team (in future).
I definitely trying my luck on Citlali instead. MHY being so funny with only C6 gives her team Cryo damage bonus.
Edit: If I had Arle or overload Clorinde with Chevy, then I'd prioritize Mav.

Well shit, I knew we'll get a Remembrance/Ice Trailblazer, but wouldn't know Hoyo would announce it early.

My only concern is the fact that, we can't have both Trailblazer in different teams on MOC/PF/AS, base on the leaks, Harmony is still the best for break team, and won't be replaced.

Also part of me wishes the servant would look more cool and less cutesy, just a personal thing.

Seems like the Traveler is supposed to be a starter/tutorial character, for players to learn reactions and how the elemental powers work, hence why Anemo Traveller was a weaker version of the stronger units at the time (Sucrose, Venti).

Then again that still shouldn't be the case with the later elements, because by the time you unlock his other elements you most likely have a unit of that same type and can experiment yourself. The only time we've seen people use Traveler is when Dendro came out, since your only other options at the time were Tighnari and Collei. Making Traveller bad at every element has become an intentional joke at this point.
 
Star Rail really loves making you fight Argenti, huh? If not the wardance, then the swarm infestation, or Yunlis companion quest. Shit even the simulated / divergent universe.

With how many times you can beat his ass, I almost want him to be a freebie. Might be slight bitterness from beginning the game right after his rerun ended. Oh well.

Still no Aventurine.

Yea, Argenti became a joke character, It also doesn't help his voice wasn't added properly, so for the longest time he was muted, hopefully the new world they'll give more lore on knights of beauty.

I have yet to reach Natlan but the very modern aesthetics versus the typical tribal backdrop is rather amusing.

Either way, I'm happy to have him. I also got Scrotum-I mean Sucrose and a Sara constellation. Since I'm not all that interested in Chasca, I'm kinda wondering if I should do half-assed pulls for Lyney or hoard for Zhongli and maybe Neuvi.

Nah I kid. I kid. The plan was always to get Zhongli but I was kinda so-so on Neuvi since I'm one of those people who pull for aesthetics over utility unless it's 'severely needed.

Zhongli just happens to cover both. Until I reach Natlan, my only other Geo, Kachina, is fucking useless, stuck at level 40.

And I do kinda grew slightly fond of Lyney aesthetically. But alas, I'm drowning in Pyros so a Hydro would be welcome.

Edit: I have Noelle and she's tolerable. Traveler is meh so s/he doesn't count.

problem is she's not only a 5*, but THE pyro archon. venti is hit or miss and got nerfed hard, but he has the excuse being the first one. there's none pulling this in your fifth year, not after furiner.
like all they had to do is make her a 5* benny without having to play circle impact. there, easy. wouldn't even be major powercreep, just another slightly stronger option (with obvious constellation bait to make her more self-sufficient/carry) instead of yet another onfielder (with a bike, like dude this isn't zzz).


in wuwa news 1.4 is out and camellya is busted as fuck I haven't checked it myself but apparently they also made her final model thiccer :story:. haven't played her story yet but so far she's a menhera yandere which might not be everyone's cup of tea (certainly not reddit's), however it seems more about fighting than dickriding. gameplay is fun and smooth tho.
current event even has a 4* weapon (with fucking crit! - after 10 seconds) that's perfect for her if anyone doesn't wanna whale for her signature (event runs till the end of the patch - remember that migoyo?), doesn't take that long to grab it either.

Probably Unpopular opinion but the firefly waifu bait is mega cringe. I find her lore far more interesting than this random ass forced romance shit they try to push.

Oh and I set foot in Enkanomiya in Genshin. Wtf, that place is so cool and the music is amazing. Covid really did a number on MHY's writing team if the world quests and the side quests are so much better than the dragging-ass Archon quest.

And then you find out that his dad died, his mon left to find said dad because she doesn't believe it, he thinks she'll come back, you find out she's dead and buried and he's just this little kid abandoned on this island but he has such a positive attitude that gives me Grave of The Fireflies vibes.

That was a little touching, ngl.
