New banner type, Chronicled wish banner.
Banner.png

Should last for an entire patch. New patch is highly to change contents.
Use intertwined (pink) wishes, pity only carries over Chronicled banner, not usual limited banners.
Have similar epitomized system - fate point to get guarantee character/weapon. But only need/require to lose one time. Of course, epitomize will be reset in next Chronicled banner.
The 5* characters only appear in this banner if they already have appeared in usual limited banners at least three times before and have not appeared in any recent banners. How "recent"? No idea, wait for more details in the "near" future official announcement.

shame they already spoiled it, would be hilarious for the monalets if she'd never appear in it since the OG 5* never had a banner (besides kekqueen) or left open for people to speculate.

curious what the pool looks like if you don't get your wanted 5* - someone else from the banner would probably be considered "too good" by migoyo.

I started playing Honkai 3rd after quiting (during end event and i remember playing during that dance girl event too) but now idk im just split on the one hand i want to continue playing while on other i dont even want to bother menu is kinda ass, combat is not satisfying,it feels like i started watching a movie at the middle so yeah any other opinions on the game ?

any other opinions on the game ?
I tried it after someone else I met through Genshin wouldn't stop raving about how it was basically Genshin except better in every fashion. To me it felt like a much rougher, much more mobile-game scifi Genshin with worse just about everything (audio, UI, monetization, progression, etc). I don't think I managed to last much beyond the two hour mark before I uninstalled the game with no intention of ever returning.

I haven't listened to game recommendations from that person since which is probably why I still haven't tried Star Rail as they've moved onto shilling that instead.

I've tried it twice, and quit it after a couple of hours. It's a much older title and it shows.

Finally. Now, Jing Yuan is much better.

Crit rate sucks due to gay ass nigger relics, but I use Fu Xuan and his traces are maxed, so he hits around 60% crit in battle.

Since it's mihomo Genshin team, it's good not be too optimistic about "nice" things. Still need to wait for future banners to see what they are like. There isn't any info what kind of crappy 4* weapons you can get from banner. At least rolling for specific 5* signature weapons will be less scummy.
I don't even think archon will be on this banner ever. I don't even know if mihomo put 5* char without their required specific 4* support on this banner.

I don't think anyone here is a Honkai 3rd fan to give you a "yes" to return.
But if you at least don't enjoy gameplay then don't play. Even if the game is hugely popular, loved and being played by millions or billions people in the world. Fuck "the cool kidz club" mentality.

Outta curiosity, what do you guys prioritize when building a new character. I typically focus on ascension materials, then weapon ascension, then talents, and then artifacts.

Speaking of which, I'll need to spend a few days grinding out exp leylines for Kuki, then get an iron sting or fav sword maxed out, then get her talents to like 4/6/6 to be usable while i grind out the weekly bosses over time.

After I finish max ascending Keqing, I'll just focus on getting the rest of my main units to full max ascension and then just start triple crowning Hu Tao/Childe/Nahida each.

I tend to get my characters 80/80 or 80/90, -/8/8 (Since basic attack is usually not worth leveling) Weapons are usually done on off times.

Artifacts I cobble together something until it's time to grind out new ones (Usually during double drop times)

usually 70 at first with talents to 6/6/6 so they're not completely useless for stuff while grinding their friendship. then slowly 8/8/8 and once friendship is capped I up them to lvl80-89.

artifacts whatever, supports I usually just dump the mass of exile I have on them, anyone else usually gets a 2x 2pc of whatever else (usually ATK% and damage).

same, but I grind every char to 80 and the last ascension just to be done with it. talents to 8 too (even basic, fuck artifact grind), when the nation is out of the battlepass (so no more "free" talent books like for sumeru/fontaine right now) I usually pull them up to 9, just keeping the basic attack on 8 on supports to dump some talent books I get for them down the line.

weapons also to at least 80 so I have them ready in case I need them (again, fuck artifact grind).

I got into the game late and quit Honkai 3rd after getting the free thundergod raiden, the game started ok but got very tiresome to play very fast due to so much weekly stuff (guild bosses, daily missions, 2 or 3 different abysses etc). The gacha also felt garbage cause characters are literally incomplete if you dont get their weapon so thats two layers of frustration. Combat also got very repetitive once i got a real meta comp and realized i'm just doing the same 15s rotation (i know that applies to genshin but there is more than just combat there).

Overall do not regret quitting it.

2.1 kits are being leaked. Gallagher has no cleanse, fuck me.

Guess devs heard you lol

They also buffed aventurine so he can get at least 3 stacks from allies followups per his turn so he's even stronger now lol.

article is up: https://www.hoyolab.com/article/25616093

apparently you can pick either characters or weapons, and only get other characters/weapons depending what you want. the 5* pool also seems to be limited to the banner, so this time 1/6 chance to get what you want (compared to weapons which has meh filler for some reason, but still "cheaper" than the weapon banner).
guarantee carries over to, fate does not, basically like the weapon banner.

no word on 4* yet. as for specific 4*, I think people prefer them showing up on more than "their" 5* banner, not everyone who wants faruzan wants to get spooked by wanderer for example. but tbh I never really had an issue getting those, by now I have sara/gorou/faruzan c6, and I'm hardly a high roller (mika c0 but I think he only ever was on 1-2 banners with 5* I didn't want).

archons have re-runs so often I don't really care if they show up on the special banner tbh, I feel it's more about characters migoyo doesn't want to "waste" normal banner for like albedo/senhe/eula etc. but has to re-run in some way to not make it ridiculus (like the time between the last eula re-runs).
also wouldn't surprise me if they later on fill it with characters from the current event, like ayato/senhe during lantern fest.

you can always try granblue relink to get your fix, even scratches your gatcha-itch if you're into that without raping your wallet.

Ah fuck yes! He's worth it now. Bailu takes another L.

Which is most up to date site for tierlist, char equipment thing, artifuck etc.. (Genshin and Star Rail) google shows few sites and /gig/ has few or it just dosent matter

I'd be down for the option to see like, more Kuki/Xingqiu banners.

Still think standard fates should have been allowed on this banner.

This for Genshin characters to see which characters for artifact build. Can also try KQM Genshin to have proper understanding of a character function and build. KQM also has HSR section, you may check that out. Main dps character is unironically can use mix of random artifact/relic to achieve good stats, while support chars are required to be on set more for maximizing potential.

Prydwen is another one for HSR, I'd say okayish if you are new and clueless to the game. I mean after a while playing both or either game long enough, player should know which relic or artifact sets do what and character function.

Tierlist website like genshin build, game8 or gamewith, genshin.gg. Use them as reference if you are "poor" F2P, new to game because of limited in game resource for "best" investment. The description of character class is really iffy imo in those tier list, characters in support category is the worst. Main dps is fine, just means playing as on field damage all the time. Sub dps is 50/50.

In Genshin ,I mean putting Candace, Kokomi, Kazuha, Zhongli and Nilou as support category, which is true but it doesn't paint full picture of each character function.
Playing Thoma as support shielder isn't the same as Thoma "main dps" burgeon. Nahida isn't really much a sub dps in Hyperbloom or Burgeon comp.
Basically understanding character function let you mixing team comp better, or why certain element reaction is only possible with certain characters only. Raiden and Kuki are only two electro units in hyperbloom comp, because of how their skill works. Other electro units aren't that reliable or even "work" in hyperbloom.
Or let say, in spread damage team comp why people use Yae Miko, Fishcl and might be Raiden as sub dps more. They are just strong and more convenient to use.

For HSR, if you wanna have some fun watching video. Maybe Guoba Certified can help. Other people here may have better idea for HSR guides since I don't play that game anymore.

Prydwen is sort of the go-to for HSR references and they usually have video guide links on each character page. Their tier list is sometimes questionable but it also is looking specifically at the current MoC/PF cycle and not just overall since HSR's character effectiveness varies heavily depending on the content.

I've typically had decent success going off the recommended sets in-game though, not the auto-equip but when you click on the details and it shows how many people use what set/stat for those pieces.

In other news I'm... cautiously optimistic about Genshin's next update. I'll need to see how the new banner works exactly before I make a decision. Same goes with the new character. Chiori just seems like an odd character to release after Navia, who while despite being a Geo character managed to solve one of the bigger issues with geo in that it only worked with mono-geo teams, although I guess you did usually bring a second character for resonance. Chiori specifically benefits from someone who can make geo constructs though, which means she won't really synergize with Navia and instead wants a more traditional geo team with characters like Zhongli and Gorou, and maybe a flex like Bennett. Like, if that's your thing then go for it but Navia is the only Geo character I've managed to make "work" without crazy investment beyond an R1 signature weapon and half decent on-set artifacts.

Yeah, I forgot about that.

Yeah, that and with Genshin new "guiding" for character leveling up in game next patch. These would help a lot of people don't use third party site.

Next Genshin update, for first phase all I can say is "rock and stone". Like seriously, both banners have 5* Geo, then Gorou and Yunjin in the same banner, Dori is the last one. It's clearly for someone having interest in Geo, otherwise no.

You need C1 Chiori to compensate for Navia lacking of construct. For now, at least Chiori seems like an upgrade to Albedo in mono geo. It's more or less, people perceiving patch x.5 being underwhelming with content and new 5* character. Doesn't really help either when literally having two top tier character in second phase.

Also, next 4.6 banners are Arlechino and highly Furina rerun. Working on Geo team or Chiori is leaning into "rolling for whom you like" more than being meta. At this stage, I'm somewhat the former more than latter, I still need C6 Gorou currently he's C1. I'm kinda waiting for Lyney rerun, mostly having fun with bow charged playstyle with Tighnari right now. Lose 50/50 to Yae Miko again.

Edit: 4^ in the upcoming chronicled banner. Now a kinda Mondstadt banner. Correction from last time, this banner duration only lasts for entire phase one (3 weeks).
