I might go for Argenti if I pull silverwolf early, but I still feel kind of meh on Erudition characters overall.

If it helps, they're adding that new Pure Fiction endgame move which is just constantly respawning enemies with a score system meaning erudition characters like himeko, jingyuan and even Herta will pop off, with Argenti clearly being balanced around it (he gets energy on respawns). But either way argenti's kit is extremely basic other than the whole ult costing either 90 or 180, both skill, ult and double ult are just him stabbing the ground.

There also been a minor beta change on honkai to nerf Ruan mei speed boost to 10% and penetration to 25 but she should still be good either way.

They're so good. I used just the two of them for the last Thelxie combat level. Plus, Neuvillette, Furina + dendro & electro make for great hyperbloom teams.
Yeah i used neuvi/nahida/kuki/zhong before furina, if only i had baizhu i could see that but my yaoyao probably cant keep up with furina while healing at the same time.

Neuvi being viable as a hydro enabler almost feels unfair. While i still find him a bit overrated, every other "hypercarry" (eula, xiao, itto) forces a reactionless team and isnt f2p friendly but Neuvi is totally viable as the hydro driver on things like freeze, EC, hyperbloom, etc only using proto amber. He also doesnt waste everything by switching out, which gives actual rotation freedom. Just an overall amazingly designed character, whose only realistic flaw is needing a shield against high threats, but he can also use Venti.

Furina, while amazing with him, has been harder to slot than i think. Most i used was ganyu/charlote/venti freeze where she works actually great but only floor pre floor 12 ofc. She should be good with wanderer but i still dont have a 4pc MH to justify.

I'm getting Argenti because I'm a dirty fujo. He looks neat, and he's pretty straightforward. I'm gonna see if I can get Silver Wolf's LC as well.

Also, how do you feel about MoC now? I was having some issues in level 10, but luckily, I got Bronya off the standard banner and even undergeared, she was a game changer. Still took me the 10 turns, but I was able to get 30 stars.

Is Argenti even fujo bait? I thought he was going for the "charming prince husbando" you'd see on old shojo and harem animes.

Wow i'm TB level 70 and i can barely 3* floor 6 and i still felt the massive difficulty gap. Going from 40 max / 12 min to 30 max / 10 min is scary as hell, even if i had the right characters to deal with floor 6 in 7 turns. I could probably force my way to higher floors before this update but now i dont think i can 3* floor 7+. And next patch they'll add flor 12 with lvl 95 enemies jeez...

btw i got greedy trying to get at least one hanya, unfortunally got argenti at 46 pity (yes, i have a problem)... but right after i sighed in dissappointed (i dont hate argenti but i was saving for ruan mei lol) i got a second light...

Literally my first double 5* in years of playing genshin + star rail. I dont even use yanqing anymore and a bronya would've been godlike but i cant complain, Ruan Mei guaranteed for free baybee 😎

I'm just tired of the bugs, they're the only enemies that give my team any grief at this point. I finally got Jingliu kitted out at least so I don't have to rely on Yanqing to kill the Swarm before all the adds kill me.

I'm not seeing the appeal. I installed this shit just to see what all the fuss is about and I am getting the most basic bitch story line imaginable, with the most basic bitch combat mechanics imaginable, and dialogue that makes me cringe in my seat. This is what the Zoomers think an MMO is? Its so boring! I've not even gotten to the Gatcha mechanics yet.

Using yanqing against the Swarm sounds like pure suffering, against 5 enemies he's worse than Herta, you'll feel a huge improvement with jingliu. I hate those guys so much i finally trained my Quinque for the swarm simulated and since she's E6 she breaks well enough. They definitely want you to have at least one healer and dps duo with Luocha/fuxuan + Daniel/Quinque/seele against them, or else it's going to be hard to kill them fast enough.

But then again i barely play MoC so you probably know better than me lol.

It's easier if you see Genshin as less of an MMO and more of "Free to play Breath of the wild with more rpg elements and gambling for waifus". The gameplay only really start to click for me once i get a synergistic 4 person team and realized how deep the reaction combo hole goes.

How is it a team when its just you cycling characters? Oh god....I'm gonna.....gonna say it....

back in MY day, when playing games like this team synergy required another person controlling the different classed character!

It wasn't too bad a couple cycles ago because of that one buff that marked an elite enemy and caused aftershock damage whenever you attacked the marked enemy. It basically turned Yanqing into a psuedo-destruction unit. I saw the writing on the wall though that Yanqing wasn't going to cut it after this buff was over.

Your characters all do a variety of actions on their skill or ultimate, some of which function off-field. For example, the character Xiangling has an ability that summons a fire rod that goes around your active character, constantly applying a fire element on enemies. You can then switch to your starter healer Barbara whose basic attacks have water elemental and healing properties on them, so you'll constantly land 'vaporized' hits that deal extra damage while healing your reserve teammates back to full. That's just one interaction, you can generally pull off several buffs/debuffs/elemental reactions by cycling through your four characters in a rotation and most of the fun is figuring out what characters pair well with others.

The whole point of systems like this was to encourage actual real life players to you know...play the game...together. With real people. Guild Wars 2 comes to mind with how the various classes could combine skills for effect, but you needed to actually be socially engaged with actual people to get the full benefits of the combat system. My brief foray into Genshin Impact has been how utterly depressing it is. Games like this used to be ways for shut in nerds to actually work with real people. Its soul crushingly lonely, and when you apply the implied gatcha mechanics I weep for you zoomers.

You don't even know whats been taken from you. Worse, what was taken from you has been replaced with micro-transactions and a slot machine.

Bro, single player action RPGs have existed for ages now, don't go all old man because you played this one for an hour and didn't like it. There's plenty of co-op opportunities in game and an expanding dork community surrounding it like all anime media. Don't cry for us "zoomers," we'll be fine.

Dude, I am afraid somebody spooked you into believing that this game is an MMO. It's not. It's a single-player open-world fucking around stimulator with an option for ko-op play. Gacha is a bruh moment, but Genshin has one of the less bad ones, as in you don't really need it. Free shit you're getting is enough to drag you through everything. You just need to spend the currency game gives you intellegently. Quests are a mixed bag, indeed. It's an anime game, after all. In one you gather 5 apple seeds or some shit, while reading a War and Peace worth of text narrated by fucking Paimon, in other you genocide sand people.

Honestly I need DPS units for Star Rail, holy fuck.

It's cute that the game insists on shoving the 4 star buffbots with insane buffs on me. It's nice to have healers. I just need better DPS units than just running Dan all the damned time.

It's a fun enough jrpg with gacha elements. I can't hate it. I do hate how fucking useless Herta seems to be though.

Not sure what is your Qingque constellation level, C4 should be decent, having C6 is pretty good. From the screenshot, I guess you have none.
Also, I feel like you are spreading out leveling too much. Just have one staple team comp to do story content and basic farming up to LV 80, then you can slowly spreading out later.
Getting to LV 80 with first 4 characters, then somewhat okayish relics for efficient daily farm gonna take like a bit while. Depending if you have battle pass or not, it helps a lot. Always pushing for higher World level tier, more efficient for resource farm. Yes, you may have some tough time against mobs at first without appropriate stats check.

Herta isn't that bad, she's pretty sufficient for basic daily farming. I use both her and Serval for that "mid" game story and farming, Although I have like Gepard and Luocha later on. My Herta is C6, Serval is C2.
Asta is lowkey powerful at early levels, since she can help your entire team to reach speed breakpoint with early crappy gear/relics.
I'd say have like Fire TB (tank), Houhou (healer), Serval (1st basic dps) and Asta (buffer) there. Can swap Asta for Tingyun, and Serval for Qingque. But I'm not trusting Qingque without any constellation.
Although, Hanya maybe an option for Qinque with skillpoint boost. I stop playing the game since few months ago, I am highly to be very wrong on this opinion.

All you need for Quigque is E4. That's where she starts to shine. Try to use her with a SP positive support like Tingyun or Asta if you don't have Hanya. Hanya should help with her SP consumption, so definitely worth pulling for her if you're planning in building QQ. Luocha is the best healer because of how SP positive he is, but use whoever you can depending on the situation. Remember, Bailu can't cleanse.

You can use a "mono-quantum" team with Fu Xuan or Lynx, QQ, and Silver Wolf. Imagine all of that entanglement.
