Kokomi is more or less a direct upgrade to Barbara and can deal a fair amount of damage to boot when she uses her burst, even more if you give her the 4pc clam set.
Furina definitely won't sustain as the only healer on a party which is probably why they released Charlotte at the same time who pairs with her quite well. Charlotte herself is kind of an anomaly in that she feels fairly complete without any constellations unlike a lot of other newer 4* characters.

I'm 40 pulls in and no Huo Huo. All I've gotten are Servals and Dan Hengs.

I just noticed the battle pass now goes to level 70. Rewards are shit (relic fragments and a little cash) but does make you feel a little less bad about finishing the pass quickly.
I have plenty of sustain and E6 on 2/3rds of the 4*'s, so Huo Huo is a pass from me. Looks like I'm going to be living in the new domain to get sets for Topaz/Himiko/Jing Yuan and a 2pc for Clara. Not to mention get Kafka kitted out with her new set.

Farming the fontaine artifact domain since release and got this bad boy for neuvilete.
aaaaaand i still cant make a 4pc for him cause i dont have any decent other pieces. Somehow i got an exellent on set matching element goblet before i got even a single usable feather or flower. Even the stuff with potential went awry hard and much worse than the HoD scraps i'm using on him. This goblet is great tho and i can use it on any of my hydros.

Skill either procs follow up attack or gives him 1 out of 4 offensive buffs (atk.crit,cd,spd) that stack and in a long match he would stack a fuckton of free stats. I think this makes he's a unique hunt unit in the sense that he doesnt want a harmony buffer but a nihility debuffer.

Cryo harmony whose skill gives spd + 50% break efficienty and whose ult gives 20% resistance penetration, and passive involve bonus damage against broken targets. Both buffs last 2 turns for HER meaning you wont waste the buff with multiple turns on something like simulated and make her better for buffing 2 dps. Her E1 is broken as hell as it gives 1 turn + 40% atk buff.

Quantum destruction, skill is blast and ult is single target that pierces vulnerability and she gets a piercing followup whenever your team does 8 toughness damage. She also has a passive that converts break effect into damage bonus which is very strong I think people are kinda overrating her as her scalings are kinda low and she cant get follow up stacks when damaging broken enemies which is what you want in quantum break.
Either way just want to say fuck the new female auromaton elite, the fact she can somehow start the fight with 2 reverb into double stun into marking someone into doom is absurd, even if her damage isnt that insane. There is literally no counterplay beyond "get huohuo or get stunlocked lol" and it feels like resist is useless cause not even my luocha (70% from passive) resisted a single one.

I swear to god the Fontain domains are extra cursed. I've grinded far longer in Fontaine for worse artifacts than I have anywhere else. Not even an issue of "oh, main stat isn't best in slow. to the trash" it's always "if main stat is good, substats are awful and if main stat is bad, substats are worse".Farming the fontaine artifact domain since release and got this bad boy for neuvilete.

I've come to accept that 3 of the pieces my Wriothesley uses just have flat +HP because at least some of the other substats were good.

I love the way she looks. I use Fu Xuan and I just refresh her matrix every turn.
All done with the new event, no Huo Huo, and I have terrible luck relic hunting. Two days farming and just one or two relics that are OK... And I need 2 full follow ups for Jing Yuan and Topaz, plus 3 DoT for Kafka, Sampo and Guinaifen...

I'm not even asking for perfect artifacts, just anything that isnt fully useless rolls. I've been grinding since 4.0 release and this is the shit my furina has to hold.
The worst part is how the domain is technically fairly resin efficient because there's ATK, DEF and HP scalers who can use the sets and furina enables nearly anyone to but i still dont have a remotely decent MH 4pc and my furina's GT set sucks and i have to use jade cutter and a good hp goblet to salvage it.
Her design is sick but it's hilarious the normal auromaton is a chunky squarey robot while female one is another tall hourglass shaped woman (at least there are normal female soldiers with halberds now).
I have fuxuan too but spamming her skill is inneficient and i'm using someone's Daniel so i need the SP. The worst part of farming the new relics is that i cant even yolo autobattle because if Luocha gets stunned when i'm not looking it's joever. The only weakness she shares with the soldiers is physical so maybe i'll wait until Argenti is released and see if i can borrow him from someone.

Edit: No wonder they're rerunning Silver Wolf. She's perfect for Ratio...

Got greedy chasing charlotte cons and got Furina C1 on 40s and finally unlocked kirara. Not very happy about it since i'm out of rolls now but i guess it could be worse. Next patch is allegedly Navida/Itto +Raiden/Albedo (or ayaka or yoi??) so i can save it back.
BTW apparently the femeale auromaton reverb works so the first one (light) is a status effect, meaning it's not reduced by hard CC resist passives while the second (heavy/stun) has fixed 100% chance and bypasses CC resist passives outright. The ONLY way to block the stun is with Fu xuan skill and even then you get light reverbed again meaning you'll still get stunned next and the auromaton attacks twice so it can eat the first block and stun on second attack.
It's like it was specifically designed to shit on luocha CC resist and bruteforce through fuxuan's block at the same time. The only reason Huohuo works is because you're expected to get stunned anyway and overpower it with 6-7 cleanses per skill cast. Kinda evil tbh.
Also the incoming MoC floor 11-12 have agressively strong effects for Ratio, with the battle starting with all enemies getting 10 fucking different debuffs, ensuring he gets 100% follow up change and self buffs. They're really pushing towards endgame being banner specific. Good thing i dont bother enough to go past MoC6.

I have another account with a team of Clara/Topaz/Tingyun/Lynx, and while Clara can mop the floor with her, Lynx has a hard time cleaning the debuff. Since Lynx can only cleanse with her ult, I save it till I get the first debuff and clean that, but then, I get the debuff again. Now, I have no ult to cleanse... I do have Bronya that I can bring with them, but I don't want to. I'll go with Luocha next time I'm farming relics and see how he does.
That banner specific shit sucks, and makes you a meta slave. I've been lucky to be able to clear it completely with my characters, even if they don't follow the meta. However, I have to admit that for some stages, it gets a bit difficult if you don't have the specific character they want you to pull. For that Ratio MoC, maybe you can try a DoT team with Kafka if she has Good Night LC?

I have clara and i should probably actually gear her since she should be good against them even if it sounds like she'll get focus fired into stunlock, at least she can tank it (i got her cone recently on standard at least). If you love destruction units then you'll love luocha, he's the best support for all 5* ones for being the only true free healer, and the dispel is underrated.
The ratio MoC is actually even more extreme than i thought.
While the debuffs are good for any comp and not just ratio, this is the first time they make a second extra blessing that ONLY WORKS on specific classes. Jing Yuan for example loves the bonus follow up dmg but he cant use the free extra turn. Kafka and Welt with GNSW would pop off but also not get full value.
I get the point but this is the most blatant it's ever been. Imagine if genshin had weapon specific abyss blessings that only 2-3 characters could use like. I'm sure some people will find ways to brute force anyway but the push for this is going to feed the meta FOMO even harder.

The abyss blessing are usually specific to the latest 5*, but also in a way that benefits other units. The current blessing really wants you capitalize on Furina's HP drain, but they even put enemies like the Pyro Abyss Lector and the wolves on one side, so all you really need is a strong healer on both sides to power through the damage. That feels a lot more managable than whatever MoC is trying to push.
I'll cope for now, maybe Hoyoverse is intending to balance the endgame around having at least one good unit from every path, which wouldn't be great, but it'd at least be achievable. Genshin's been pretty good at redefining the meta around specific mechanics each region in a way that keeps a diverse number of units in the mix, so Star Rail should be able to achieve that too. I just wish relic farming wasn't such a pain in the ass, then maybe I could get some of these new units up to snuff in a reasonable amount of time.
Since we're talking abyss, Kokomi really comes in clutch on the first half of floor 12 this cycle.

Pulled for Huohuo despite already having every other healer plus E0S1 Fu Xuan because I'm a sucker for fox girls. She's very much a sidegrade to Luocha which at least means she's usable but I've not really had an instance where her kit has really shined other than those new aurumaton enemies and even then I can power through them with my usual tanky DPS setup of Fu Xuan/Blade/Jingliu/(any buffer/debuffer I feel like using).
The tower fights for the event have been giving me some trouble, and I'm sure part of it is because my team is somewhat underleveled. I only managed to clear the third difficulty of the first set just last night after realizing it's best to weakness break the elite manually and then use the exorcism shit to to keep them broken after they recover. Also a buff dispeller like Luocha or Pela was pretty much mandatory. Maybe the fights get easier when you unlock more of the special abilities but I'm not looking forward to clearing the other sets of those right now.

I got her as well because she's cute. Try to unlock more exorcisms if you're having issues with the towers. One of them turns the enemies into trotters.

Kinda late here but in case it's not obvious, Neuvilete + Furina fucking rocks. Doing +20k charges, almost 30k with zhong+vv, while furina also does a ton of dmg herself. No need for reactions, just raw hydro power. Legitimaly makes me want to roll for C1 neuvi since it lets me ignore shielders completely but it would be overkill.
Also nice that i can use Sayu and she legit feels GOOD here and not copium. She's technically better than jean here cause her burst keeps swirling which is good for neuvi's passive.
Since the event was mentioned, god is this the worst Star Rail event ever or is it just me? Feels like everyone loves the memes but portuguese version uses the forced brazilian memes while making no sense so its awful and it felt like this one event was 90% talking followed by fighting the female auromaton boss again. I'm so tired of her already.
In other news argenti is coming soon but is anyone actually hyped for him? At first i kinda wanted but ruan mei got massive buffs last beta (3 turn duration, speed, dmg bonus and penetration increased) and if she stays like this i need her since i have no trained harmony besides a copium asta. Ratio also had significant beta changes where they literally removed his buff stacking and now all his self buffs scale directly from current enemy debuffs, i think is obviously makes him better short term but worse long term.
One thing about ratio and the new dot set is that it makes cons and 5* weapons that add buffs and dots much more valuable. Kafka's cone looks underhwlming but with it alone she can maintain 3 dots now (cone, burst, break) and her C2 counts as a permanent enemy debuff, just like SW c2. Everytime i think they dont know what they're doing, the devs show how much nuance and thought is put into every little thing...

I might go for Argenti if I pull silverwolf early, but I still feel kind of meh on Erudition characters overall. Still sad I didn't get Guienifen for Kafka.
Side note: I'm 9 off from my perm banner choice. Deciding who to pull C1/C2 for.
