Her synergy on Nilou Bloom teams though is insane. With the EM share on activate characters, all of my units are scoring 15k+ Bloom procs and the entire field gets bombarded with them constantly. I'm sure the math on Bloom teams is a nightmare, but it's almost doesn't matter because Nahida turns the entire arena into a landmine field.

glad I only did her story long after the patch, she's such a qt360 my primos would've been in real danger getting dumped on her, not waiting for the archon (which I always expect to have crazy support capabilities). since there isn't really another upcoming char I'd like and I still need hydros anyway prolly gonna grab her on a rerun unless dehyra drains my balls primos.

that's why you built pity (while saving responsibly), was at ~50 when I started with a coinflip coming up. got 2 extra bennetts and finally c6 noelle (of course I only get boosted 4* when I don't really need them, thanks mihoyo). was a bit miffed at myself because I pulled her before doing her story, and since I only roll on waifus - or chars I like - was afraid she might end up a cuntwaffle, same reason I have zero interest in childe or scaradouche.
(also got dori from the standard banner because I needed stardust, ofc the ONE char which is free this patch. and now after doing chapter 3/4 I'm more pissed I didn't get a single cadance. and fun fact: guess who shares resources with the dendro loli? happy prefarming)

her c1 is nice but I kinda wish they'd flipped C2 and C1.
C2 is a clear upgrade (although how much some sweaties would need to theorycraft, not sure it can even crit without it given how gimped most other reactions are, but even if it does it's still capped, but in return since it's guaranteed you can go full EM good luck), while C1 makes your numbers go up as well, the trade-off is less flexibility in teams. to get the full effect of C1 you want a pyro/hydro/electro on your team, which means no resonance (nilou's A1 being worded weird as fuck doesn't help either, unless I'm reading it wrong you really only need 1 dendro/1 hydro, not dendro/hydro only).

the skill working with collectible shit is OP as fuck, especially since her own stuff like lotus is a pain in the ass to farm. and don't get me started on the fucking nuts etc in the desert.

never was a hu tao main, tbh only reason I got her was while rolling for a 4* (can't even remember which), and with a c2 diluc, c6 yanfei and c2 yoimiya I don't really have need of another pyro deeps. and I'm lazy, the whole mechanic with low HP, even if it leads to bigger numbers, isn't really my thing.

read a rumor dehyra is more support, might have been here (while the char comes across quite differently), otherwise I'm tempted to roll for another pyro deeps just for looks...

I originally didn't plan on pulling for Nahdia, tried her trial and did the meeting her world quest and now I'm waiting for the FBI to bust down my door cause this Loli is now beating Ganyu as my most loved character.

You cant crit transformative reactions that only scale with pure level and EM like Overload, swirl and bloom, nahida c2 is only one that allows that and it feels more like a fixed chance of bonus dmg than a "crit" since it's not affected by gear and passives.

I feel the opposite on C1, i think it increases her flexibility because you can put non-pyro/hydro/elecs with her and not waste your ult completely. Like, you can play melt ganyu/benet/ZL/nahida and you still get 2pyro/1elec/1hydro bonus or you can play like tighnari/fischl/nahida/ZL spread and you still get resonance with double elec burst bonus. The irony is that you actually "lose potential" with double pyro/hydro/electro now. I kinda hate her c1 for that.

Nilou passive means ONLY dendro AND hydro, how many doesnt matter. You can do Nahid/nilou/kokomi/xq (1 dendro 3 hydro) and it still works, with nahida applying enough dendro on field to keep with them. It's very limiting but we still dont have many good dendro units yet.

There is nothing on dehya yet but everyone theorizes she will be a burgeon and burning focused dps, since tighnari, cyno and nilou were focused on specific dendro reactions, she gets what is left. If she is a good off field pyro aplicator then finally xiangling will have competition.

btw they deleted the scaramouche video i posted but this one on youtube somehow has 1.2 million views and wasnt killed lol. That's more views than the official 3.2 special program video.

He's an edgy skinny twink so the fangirls go insane but i dont understand why HE gets a redemption arc while signora gets no sympathy and dies for the shit HE did in inazuma. Scara was having a laughing fit at teppei (who???) death and now traveler will just hang out with him? He's going to appear on funny wholesome events from now on?

Altho it's going to be really funny if/when they make him forgive Raiden for abandoning him since we cant have characters hate each other ii this game. The little details on his animations and special food description make it sound like he'll become a uwufied tsundere boy too who acts edgy but is totally nice on the inside.

Fun fact: Dottore's in game model in the code is actually a tall male model + claymore user, meaning THAT clearly evil dottore is very likely to be playable (unlike signora who was always coded as monster). Yes, it's very likely dottore will be redeemed lol.
 
from an economic standpoint its really dumb to not give us signora to pull. I'd have pulled for her pretty much regardless of her skillset. I won't explain why, because I don't have to.

I don't care about having evil characters on the team because it's a video game and it's funny to make people who should hate each other hang out, but Scara's personality is so intolerably cringe to me. They really try to make him this menacing figure, but I can't take him, his mommy issues, and his short shorts seriously.

As for Signora, I almost guarantee that she is coming back somehow, probably under her original name. Her constellation is listed as a moth, which are seen as symbols of rebirth or transformation. Given the Crimson Witch backstory, it's not that out there that they can deus ex machina her back from the dead whenever Hoyoverse feels like making a few easy millions.

ah yeah, I assumed C1 only works if you have a pyro to begin with, not give the first bonus always. if you always get the first buff it's not so bad (maybe even too good then for the first constellation...)

the nilou setup makes sense, but man that's certainly not what I got from the skill description.

as for dehya being 5* xianling - pls no, my poor primo stash...

tbh after signora got yeeted I was hoping they'll do the same for scaradouche, but it seems together with dotorre they're going after the fujo money. better bring cryo mommy back then too for their "normal" playerbase...
 
The desert region was really fucking good. It's nice how mihoyo provided an easy way for casuls to find all the relevant locations with the new story quests and yet made almost all those locations accessible without starting them.

I hope this doesn't set the trend of sub-locations absolutely trumping the main regions though. Hot take perhaps, but Sumeru(in terms of exploration) sucked ass. Every single interesting location was locked behind that shitty aranara quest where they hold your fucking hand through the entire experience, seriously, I don't think there's more than four or five places on the entire Sumeru map where you don't have to help a quirky grape person with their stupid shit along the way. Desert region was such a breath of fresh air after all that nonsense.

don't forget lot of people are absolutely smoothbrained and need that guide and handholding to understand how stuff works.
you should also know by now to do all quests first, then explore, so it doesn't really matter if those spots only open up in quests. and at least it didn't really lock out content, I had to speedrun 3 chapters of the archon quest AND nilou's quest because I couldn't finish chapter 5 otherwise (thanks mihoyo), and I still missed the new boss by 10 minutes for the weekly reset. dat shit gave me serious FF14 MSQ flashbacks.

also don't knock that lvl60 bonus, feels like I'm swimming in mora (and still not enough with some chars still need lvl9 talents AND 2 new sumeru chars to level).
 
Anyone else really enjoyed the pokemushroom event? It has the most unique gameplay they ever had and the portuguese translation went all out with the puns and beats the english for once. Shroom buddies being translated to "cogumigos" aka cogumelo + amigo is pretty genius and all the names are silly.

"Girãozinho" is basically "Big little spinny" and actually sounds normal and cute, like a real pet name. I liked this event so much, i didnt even mash through the story, desptite being a very cheesy shounen plot.

btw in beta news stuff, Faruzam c6 took a HARD nerf, where now it only procs the explosion every 3s and not the arrow + explosion every 2.5s which makes sense to me since her arrow actually had pretty good scaling and made her a legit strong off field dps. Her bonus dmg passive was nerfed and limited so now it kinda sucks too. Her kit is still super overloaded so i wont be surprised if she is nerfed further.

Scara wasnt changed much beyond nerfed normal atk scaling and bigger flight dmg boost so i guess it balances out. Allegedly his skill works like yoimiya now being it's own multiplier so he should weaker on the ground but stronger in the air.
 
i really liked the Fungimon™️ event, it was a nice change of pace from the norm. Paimon actually had pretty good names for the fungi, surprisingly.

this event made me think though...
would anyone else want Baizhu to summon Changsheng so you can have a snek fight alongside you?
 
I enjoyed everything but the defense training missions and the occasional finnicky targeting. Everything else was pretty fun.
