Apparently he was added in 2.6 but i didnt see him mentioned anywhere. If like buying cheap artifact xp every week like me, reminder that this guy exists now too.

Tl;Dr Fucking never get the characters I want and this one's probably not gonna have are run for a long while if ever given the trajectory of shit
simply wait. you're falling for FOMO. if you go into a banner with 180 pulls you can simply ignore the coinflip, even if you lose you will get it the next time (and a lot of extra starglitter from useless chars/constellations). personally I spend a few rolls on a banner to see how it goes if I feel like it and maybe get the new 4* at least on c0, if you get the 5* right in the first 10-20 rolls after another it's basically free and doesn't set you back very far, even if you get the banner char (meaning your next 5* is a coinflip again). always remember chars will have re-runs - even if it takes a while - and there's a good chance the 4* will be better/different too in case you got most of them at c6 already. next abyss phase is whalebait for the next banner anyway, so you're basically stressing yourself over 600 primos (= 3.75 rolls).
also helps that it usually takes longer than the banner for people to figure out a char and it gives you time to decide if you really want that char or rather spend it one someone else (like me wanting yae miko but after story and gameplay rather skip). and then you can still roll up to the second the next banner drops.
This is happening to me with a different game which I've been playing constantly since 3 years, due to Genshin & now some other & unbelievable game of all others...Roblox.
that's why I don't understand people complaining about "nothing to do" - I'm happy with only having to spend 20 minutes to do my chores, which leaves most of the rest for when I actually want to play it instead of feeling forced to.
My only problem with autofill is that it always put the artifact exp "potions" when i want to save them since they dont take inventory space, it's very annoying that those arent manual. If you want to save specific 3* you can lock them.
I'd have to lock most of them since I still might use them. but yeah, the autofill for potions is annoying.
the main problem is how I use and level my stuff. since I even level artifacts with 3 or only 2 substats, I want to get them to 4/8 as soon as possible to see if they worth keeping or feeding - which would mean using 2*, since when they crit I'm almost there already (and I like to use grey artifacts as filler since you never get any exp back unlike weapons for example). meanwhile autofill starts at the lowest with 1*, while I want it the other way around (which probably would make someone else complain, hence the "just let me use only 2* then).
Man, trying to grind Ocean-Hued Clam to build up my Kokomi is a pain in the ass. Like, the one time for an artifact set I don't want Crit Rate or Crit Damage boosts, that seems to be all I get (that or useless shit like the main stat being anemo damage). I'm still keeping them since I might be the only person on the face of the Earth who plays this game and doesn't have a Qiqi, but I'm not going to try and see if I can somehow get Koko's crit chance to a non-negative number. Don't have the time or resources to burn on that experiment.
worst case you can go ER/HP/ATK too, even with purples since it's more about the mechanic, not the damage itself (ofc godroll golds would be great, but that's not how the game works)
you could also pump her talents to level 9, it's still an upgrade but way less RNG. also off-set weapon damage can be good too, same for other artifacts. you got 5 slots with a set capping out at 4, so you always have a flex spot (which is usually the cup given it has the most variation). so if that anemo cup actually has good rolls might be worth keeping it even if it's for another char. this also means if you get a good HP/ATK/HYDRO cup already, you can use a head piece from another set, where even a gladiator with healing bonus would work.
another option would be to put the pieces on barb, especially for some lazy coop play.
Went back to SRPGs and games with a proper dialogue skip button and better storylines.
I just put it on auto and watch while working out, not much different than my weeb cartoons.
