I'm almost really excited for Itto Banner, than I was for the Kazoo. Itto was the only character that nearly made me falter at the time of Zhongli/Ganyu banner. Tho I don't think I need him much, I'd be happy to have him.

Looks to be Ayato and Venti together, then
Ayaka as a Solo Banner. Methinks they’re expecting Ayato not to do so well if they’re putting the Twink on the same rotation….

I was debating whether or not to roll for the Fish since I'm most likely not going to roll for Ayato (I have Xinqiu fairly well built), but since we're going to be getting Venti at the same time as Ayato, Kokomi gets to wait for her second rerun (maybe). Venti takes priority. Kind of surprised we're getting Ayaka rerun solo, and as much as I like her I'm not sure it's really worth chewing up what's left of the wish stash for her constellations. Hu Tao C1 was very easy to justify the wish investment, whereas for Ayaka I'm dragging my feet since I mostly use her to stab things instead of her skill/burst.

really wondering if I should try to still get fishbarb, if the 2.8 leak is legit it should be enough time to replenish the primos and coinflip, and there isn't any other 4/5* I'd really want, nor do I see any coming up in the future (maybe yaoyao if she's still catalyst, but dendro never ever so no point waiting)

dunno, what I've seen still reeks like filler. I don't expect the story to go anywhere (4+ zones left), one-and-done zone, boss that only matters if you want to level ayato (and possibly whoever else drops in the future - unless that char gets it's own extra boss because "lol suck it"), domain they could put anywhere and you port directly to anyway.
also lol @ free xinque after people whaled on the current banner and wasted starglitter.

As someone who has C2 on him, XQ really gets good at C4, then later becomes a god at C6. Anyone who has C5 on him, is luckier than ever now. I'd be happy for the free one.

That said, I really don't feel like anything worth going for is coming in recent updates. Except Itto & Kazoo.

really depends how long you've been playing, by now I'd assume most people have him at c6 (either grabbing him in the shop, on banners etc.). there are more chars who haven't been in a banner for longer or don't even show up in the shop. or look at it this way, imagine you whaled for him based on his meta status and then you could get a free one... (ofc someone somewhere will always lose out, but imo that is as bad as the 4* banner re-run they did with ayaka)

That said, I really don't feel like anything worth going for is coming in recent updates. Except Itto & Kazoo.

same, that's when I blew quite a few primos on fishbarb (and got some good 4* stuff out of it as well, all things considered). right afterwards I remembered yoimiya is still out there...
we'll see how it goes.

I went from doing dailies every day for over a year to not having opened the game in almost a week now lol
I do plan on at least doing the new Dainsleif quests and maybe poking around the Chasm but otherwise the game just became too much of a chore to keep up with

Honestly it's the same for me, I started since November & it does feel like a chore to me at times. I don't do much more than doing my dailies, my dispatched character rewards, my daily Resin drain, & the occasional events that give freemos.

I may play more if the game let's me play, but the lack of more Resin halts playtime. Honestly, I'm also playing another game which suddenly feels like a chore, even more than Genshin. Seriously, how the fuck does one make a daily reward grind into some wagie presence shit?

But yeah, the game itself doesn't let you play more, that can't be solved until either the refresh time becomes better, or we get a 200 Resin cap.

If you're buying crystals for pulls, you're doing it wrong. Even buying the battlepass is a better deal than getting crystals directly, and that's even considering the Chorus ($10 for a profile banner, a bit of furniture and some fragile resin? Really?) if you're no longer getting the 2x first time crystal bonus. But I guess that's the predatory nature of gacha for you; gotta spend for more pulls because FOMO and you didn't plan ahead by getting Welkin.

Maybe 4 dollars once in a blue moon if I want the moon daily drip shit but even then thats infrequent as hell and even then I got pretty much nearly everything I've been interested in so far character wise but missed out on a lot of event characters and their reruns sometimes

i pulled fishbarb yesterday and i'm really enjoying playing her so far, she's my first hydro character (minus actual barb, i only started playing when the yae miko banner was nearly at it's end, so a newbie here). i got raiden really early, and out of the pool of hydro characters she's the most visually appealing (shouldn't pull just based on appearances yadda yadda) + even though ayato is looking to be a good hydro DPS he just doesn't have that /appeal/ i guess. basically fishbarb is pretty and i love how her jellyfish skill keeps applying hydro damage so you can stack it with electro to get good damage.

i don't forgive the raiden/kokomi banners for giving me so many xinyan and sara constellations though. i think i have them both at c4, xinyan is clunky and sara's skill is fucking useless imo. i just wanted bennett constellations but i think i only got C1, if that. might pull on venti or ayaka banners depending on the featured 4* characters, and hopefully lose a 50/50 for a guaranteed kazuha, providing the 2.8 leak is for real

Ive been super busy lately so i only do dailies, mash event text, rush through domains solo and leave altho i admit i'm also very bored, to the point i didnt even try 36* the current abyss (really not worth the effort). Also havent farmed artifacts routes in weeks cause burn out. I think i'll stop buying welkin for a 1-2 months and only login to do dailies, not even use resin.

Unless the next patch revives my interest, that may be what I am soon doing as well. For more gameplay when I'm out of resin I had been lurking the community Discord/Hoyolab and helping out lower AR players with events/domains/bosses/exploration, but I haven't bothered to do that at all for the last few weeks, instead just playing other games.

Well, that's two of the 4stars that I've already C6ed, so yay at a half chance for refunding one wish out of every eight or so?

Honestly, the only real motivation I have left during content droughts is finally getting around to levelling my unfinished characters. Mostly means killing the same rotation of bosses, because Gold Drops are a lie - nevermind the special hell that is the Skill Book Domains.

Least we have a new area to explore next patch, some new content to scratch that particular itch…

I just try to grind for Tenacity & do side quests for sake of completion & content.

A cyro mob ? It would be easier if you have Bennet ( shorts guy with a thumbs up hand) instead of Amber.

You can try Bunny Baron - Guoba (XL's pet bear) - kite and circle with charged shots from far with Amber and repeat. Care healing with barb since she wets the active member.

I am Adventure Rank 25. Just did the mission with zhong (the old ladys pot/vase, ballista, etc) now I need to get to 26 to get the next quest but the next main story quwst is I think 28 or 29 rank? When do I unlock the island with the pink haired shrine maiden?
