They literally just nerfed an entire element huh?
Not related but as i was pulling xiao I got jean even though it's my first time getting her which bummed me out but I kept pulling and got xiao at 16 pity now I just wait for ayato.
that's what happens when you knee-jerk after chink outrage and overbuff. apparently electro was OP in beta too till they overnerfed it. combined with the whole honkai anniversary drama they really need to try and get out of there, but that won't fix that mihoyo can't balance for shit.
don't even wanna imagine what happens when if dendro finally drops.

also pulling is strange as fuck, I got spooked by diluc at ~45 rolls, least now I got a guaranteed ganyu coming up (wouldn't mind more ZL constellations to get c6 at some point in 2026, but rather have more chars). now all I need is to hope my savings are enough for yae too...

I really like the look of the new area too and its pretty different which is great except for the fact that I'm incentivized to just blitz through the main quest, ignore everything else and find the quickest way to the blue icon on the map. Its been brought up before when Inazuma dropped but I still can't imagine just getting into the game, getting whoever off a banner and then finding out it will be another 20-30 hours of game before you can do anything with them.
just carry them around for the companion exp and measly other exp (every exp is one writ less), unless you want to burn through all your resin it's gonna take 16-23 boss kills anyway for the drops alone, so you're looking at 640-920 resin for that alone (so around 4-5 days if you spend it on nothing else _and_ you already got all the gems).

Regarding the dark souls knights (husks):
1641491001946.png

1-The fire banners generate 24u shield. The abyss heralds for example generate 36 which is the strongest barrier type shield (?)

2-The water lancers heal 40% hp in 4 seconds. Their HP is not insane like mirror maiden or wolf but they have 30% phys res.

3-They're anemo cc immune.

tl;dr: These fuckers make shielders/geo so much worse on abyss that the chinese community is joking about the devs "banning geo". This is also an indirect nerf to anybody who relies on shields to stay alive like Xiao Hu Tao. Also on weapons that rely a shield to get value (liyue series, serpent spine, etc).

Some other leak stuff

>Yae

Good news: Her skill actually her 3 charges so you can dump all totems at once if you want!
Bad news: Her totems dont actually snapshot

>New weekly boss HEAVILY TEASES a raiden rerun

It's raiden. The next weekly boss is raiden.

>KOKOMI IS COMING BACK AND WILL BE MURDERED AGAIN

-Floor 11 abyss has 30% healing bonus and 60%+ electro dmg
-leyline disorder increases electro charge dmg
-enkanomya storyline archon quest
-literally pink and blue clam shaped free catalyst

RIP the kazuha dream. I actually kinda want kokomi to play ganyu+ayaka freeze but she came too soon...

1641492733192.png

I'm gonna GUESS the next patch will PROBABLY be Kokomi+Raiden and Yae. Hope none of you expected to get engulfing lightning cause that thing is going to be placed with kokomi's donut.

Now I'm even more conflicted between Zhongli & Ganyu, due to being more heavily on Ganyu's side with this enemy. Hell, Beidou is my main DPS, I'll be fucked with this.

He's still going to trivialize normal game and will always be a good unit who enables glass cannons (like ganyu) and powers physical/anemo/geo dps. These knights will probably only be thrown on one half of the abyss so you can put zongli on the other. Cant say who you should roll first but both are worth it.

I haven't been playing the game much at all lately but jumped back in for this banner and them locking Shenhe's mats until the end of the new area is horseshit. I know this isn't new but this feels like the most egregious its been due to the amount of preamble, even with Raiden it was at least a single island that you only had to use those door things to get from the island to the floating rocks. I really like the look of the new area too and its pretty different which is great except for the fact that I'm incentivized to just blitz through the main quest, ignore everything else and find the quickest way to the blue icon on the map. It's actually counter-intuitive for a lot of their new characters which seem to be meme characters. You'd probably have at least a couple people rerolling for Cryo-only or Geo-only accounts but there's no real variety in characters you could use, and there's too much dead time even if you were streaming it.

Preemptive oof.

Is the game ending at Inazuma, MHY ? Why the rush of banners ?

EL is actually an awesome weapon, so salt those leeches once more for putting that heal donut with it. With Kokomi somewhat required to the Eula + Ayaka burst team you mentioned before, so fuck MHY for the third time since that's a team worth looking forward too.

No mercy at all, but at least we are prepared.

Don't really understand the Geo nerf, didn't the meta already moved on to reactions and swirl ?

geo and especially shields are still strong as fuck anywhere else in just invalidating everything mobs throw at you, which means they'd have to constantly design encounters even outside abyss with it in mind, which means anyone not having access to those chars (remember ZL is a limited char, the only shielder you can reliably get is noelle) is in for a wild ride. outside of providing shields geo is basically yellow electro in usefulness (and at least that has a CC component when paired with pyro) and if you shield via crystalize it's outright clusterfucky, even more so in multiplayer.

I assume there's one more island or extra stuff to get those electro sigils, after that it's probably chasm (I believe it when I see it) and then who knows what, but inazuma is done. might be temporary stuff again to not blow up the size even more to bridge the time till we get sumeru in september (if they don't do that earlier).

I'm incentivized to just blitz through the main quest, ignore everything else and find the quickest way to the blue icon on the map.
funny story actually, I did that, killed the boss, got a bit annoyed it only droppped ice/electro gems and THEN noticed yun jin needs the drop from the wolf lord which was available from the start... (to be fair I was kinda sick, but still).
electro also probably means yae needs those drops too, boy can't wait to kill that boss 20+ times...

Glad to see shields are awesome still, so it just me who moved on from ZL, haven't used him much since Inazuma came.

The last time playing ZL, a geo spectre shot me off the air while gliding. Since that incident, a team that can pounce, beat up and stomp each variant of those smug balloons became an attractive choice. It also does help to ween off shield gameplay, except Diona because she is part of cyro gang.

Honey put for paedophiles
learn to spell first sir

enkanomiya is really really pretty, and i fuck with the ost as usual. it seems like they just get better and better with these terrain designs and music. the archon quest prelude i also liked very much, i misjudged shenhe's character and the yunjin performance was absolutely stellar.

Absolutely not

I will concede I do need to proof read autocorrect though

worst part about those fuckers is the bloated health, floating away and then not even provide an elemental reaction while being literally being floating elemental energy.
machine gun fischl goes brrr...

say what you want about the bugmen, but dayum the lightning alone is something else, you don't often see that clouded sky/twilight look done properly.

still wondering if back when it was still populated people constantly flipped the sun on and off to do shit...

Windtrace is back, with mentions of how people complained about certain things the last time around so changes were made. I'm sure nobody will be complaining about the balance this time, right? Right? lol fat chance

After a few rounds, inspiration struck me.
HUNTER WINS.png
Now, the Hunter has longer to hunt, Mysterious Hunch is gamebreakingly broken but at least Ayaka/Mona can't hide in a puddle/zoom around as fast as the hunter. The vertical elements of the prior maps are almost completely absent and most maps make it nearly impossible to break line of sight once seen. No more infinite hider jukes from high places (or going so high and being so annoying the hunter decides it's not worth pursuing you), or going to a part of the map that you'd think would be out of the border but is still inside; the borders are MUCH stricter this time. Also, the Hunter is properly blinded at the start of the round the hunter can totally see your seelie pet through their blind, so best unequip it unless you want the hunter to have an idea of where you're going.

TL;DR - Instead of Rebel advantage this time, massive Hunter advantage and Hunter will win if halfway competent. The map likely decides your fate.

I mean, the original was far too in favor of the Rebels, but this seems like a massive overcorrection. Tree Strat being gone I'm alright with, mostly because Tree Strat made certain maps "Climb Tree, go make coffee". The Hunter Ults are stupidly busted - reveal everyone, AND reveal them on the minimap? Jesus wept - but considering how easy it was for the Rebels to win in V1, I'm assuming the inevitable third time will nerf Hunter.

That said I've already pissed off at least two Hunters by glitching Qiqi underneath the map or into a building - the amount of places you can manage that with the lolis, I get this feeling they'll be removing the Loli's as usable characters nex time

I mostly just use Diona to show off, though the downside is that you hunt with a midget there's a section of the roof on Central Hall Shadows (Inazuma, Yashiro building) that your character is literally too short to jump up and grab, meaning any hider up there is forever beyond your reach. Don't know any exploits yet and wouldn't use them if I did, but mostly just climbing on strange surfaces and hiding in almost plain sight still works well. The hunter having Mysterious Hunch instead of Aura by default really hurts those that want to hide as props, especially if you don't see the hunter use it and get your direction.

i played a few windtrace rounds just to get them coins, some thoughts:

-Map balance is wack. There is no verticality but some maps are super open and flat with only 2 props while others are full of places to hide and small corridors (ritou).

-I dont know whats the point of droping the burst randomly when 99% of time the hunter will get it since they're faster and no one wants to expose themselves, which is hilarious since the best hunter bursts expose rebels. It's a hunter comeback mechanic.

-The bait power is pretty garbage lol. I prefer it since its more fun but other than trolling people, it's infinitely worse than invisibility. Feels like i was the only person in all matches who used bait, everyone else was invisible.

-The hunter footsteps power that shows the direction of a rebel is awful. Like, 40 secs CD to give you a tiny idea of where someone is??? I only got the challenge by capturing someone by accident. The didnt test the sensor power iyet but i heard is waaaaay better.

Overall it's okay, at least it's pretty short and even if you lose it wont take more than 6-8 matches.

And since i'm here, just some beta news for yall

>YAE

Yae skill cd was reduced to 4s and her first passive changed to reset her totem CD on burst. This means she has effectively 100% turret uptime by default (no need for raiden/albedo) and she can do Skill 3x -> burst -> skill 3x.

Her only real weakness so far is the expensive burst that isnt that strong (90 en 22s).

>Husk dark souls knights

They were heavily nerfed already, to summarize:

-can be pulled by anemo now (venti impact)
-only their normal non elemental attack procs the buffs if they hit shields
-they all share internal cooldown on those buffs
-you can interrupt the shield archer before they get a shield
-they cant attack all at once anymore (lol)

I dont know how bad it is on practice but at least the internal cooldown implies shields and geo can still bruteforce a victory if you kill them before they buff too much. It also means you can (theorically), intentionally let them heal themselves at full hp so they cant heal later.

Either way, still farming zongs and ganyu artifacts. Gave up for a bit and now farming gold, 2.9kk now, i want at least 5kk by then, should be enough to get both at least 70/80 and 8/8 skills.

I would disagree. The first time, Mysterious Hunch was useless due to how many props littered every single map meaning Sensor Aura was the way to go (it was obvious to the rebels that you're heading their direction testing all dozen props between you and them, so they GTFOd). This time around, props aren't anywhere near as numerous so a straight line to a rebel is far more useful and you'll be accused of cheating when you use it and instantly realize that barrel right behind you is a rebel (true story). In terms of balance, the rebels really should be notified whenever the hunter uses mysterious hunch (to encourage them to move) because so long as the hunter isn't a moron and the rebels don't see the hunter use the skill, the hunter is going to catch at least one rebel.

Had some matches to grind, it is fun, they should keep this mode in general. I didn't play the last one, but this one does have one major issue, the hunter feels too OP. It's almost like playing an FPS with a hacker using an aimbot & wall-hacks, except the aimbot is literally a game feature. Combine that with movement speed upgrades & a power-up sensibly only able to be picked up by the Hunter is a fuck-up to go through. I actually won against that once too & was the last man standing, it was fun in it's own way.

That said, anybody with other power-up makes this mode fun to play, mostly because it feels fair to play.
