early game is funky like that, i started an alt on a different server and i struggle a bit without my op built characters because i forget a couple things about how it works. you get used to it

Finally found my worst Genshin Experience

>Try to complete Secret Island quest.

>Fail through Amber cause "not enough stamina" despite nearly reaching land.

>Spent nearly 8 mins trying to Ice Bridge my way through Kaeya.

>Had to stop midway due to some urgent work.

>Repeat the Kaeya Ice bridge for 8 mins again.

>Finally reach the fucking Island

>Softlock yourself cause the game doesn't even hint the fact that you need Anemo (probably MC) & go with your typical Geo user through habit.

>Repeat Kaeya process AGAIN, cause the game doesn't have a special waypoint for their even after reaching at least as a reward. All the while feeling retarded for not waiting another month to get the bounties enough to unlock Personal Waypoints.

>Kill the guards, get the Anemoculus & chests.

>Do the Eye of the Storm thing.

>Follow the fucker through the gates.

>The game forces you to stay Anemo & I only have the MC, which is kinda shit.

>The boss battle starts & is kinda nightmarish with the fucking shit Anemo MC cause the game didn't let me choose Barbara for Electrocute, Melt & Frozen reactions, or let me change to Geo MC for my experience & my artifacts for it, so all I had for range was Amber (mobile user btw, so that should explain some of the Archer pain).

>Somehow get that fucker to under 10% HP with low HP on my main DPS.

>Had to stop midway for lunch, but didn't close the game this time to not fuck up progress.

>Come back to play & see reconnecting screen. It started the game where I paused it. But suddenly...

>Some fucking update comes in. So the game forces me to restart.

>Took 6 mins but thought "Ok fine, maybe I get a team change"

>No team change, but it gets worse.

>I have the same health, EoS gets full health reset.

>A hell of my own to go through.

>Finally kill that fucker.

>Secret Quest complete, for few freemos & just 20 RP for something that should at least give 100 RP.

>I thought the Dragonspine missions were bad, & I've yet to do the beacon missions.

I know it's too little too late now but the place you jump has an NPC that gives you a recipe that lowers gliding stamina consumption. THAT is how you're supposed to get there early.

btw Ubatcha went back on zongli being in 2.4 so i guess they're backtracking before it's too late lol. It's "yae is coming in 2.2! Acually 2.3! Actually-" all over again. There is no abyss effect beneficial to zongli so it's no wonder.

Oh well, 2.4 will probably going to be Shenhe and Xiao+Ganyu anyway so i'll get ganyu and depending on the 4*, roll 20-30 on xiao's banner. If i dont get him that's some pity built, if i get him early, i should still have +180 fates saved.

Itto's demo is honestly sick as fuck. I like how it actually has a plot and puts his personality front and center. A lot of demos are just sick ass music playing over 3 minutes of the character normal attacking treasure hoarders.

I remember getting to that Island - fun times. Took having the Anemo MC and Sucrose in my party to lower stamina usage, that one meal that reduces gliding stamina drain, and a meal that restored 80 stamina, but I got there.

The rewards were shit, but it scratched that exploration itch and one of those fuckers for the Statues was there…

Hey, if it helps, that secret island that takes forever to glide is the best crab farming spot in the game, if you sayu and a manual warp, its ez crab all day. Of course, this depends on how much you actually use crabs. Food is only as useful as you're willing to farm.

I have almost 34k gems saved, feels good.

I'm so bored i've been "accidently" dumping my daily artifact route xp in what i HOPE to be a decent ganyu artifact set. If it doesnt end up on practice i guess i'll put it on yanfei or smthing...

It gives around 52 CR and 56CD and 58 EM (+80 from set).

>that goblet is thrash lol

I KNOW! But it's the only 5* cryo goblet i have besides the one on ayaka that is only slightly better (:_(

BOY, wouldnt it be hilarious if i did all this work and i ended up hating playing ganyu? :) ...

btw you can get around 60k artifact XP (+110 spots) everyday by doing artifact routes , which is like, on average (allegedly) equivalent to 80 resin spent on artifact domains drops. In other words, do your daily artifact routes if you have time to spare, you'll thank yourself later.

I remember trying to do the inazuma route when I was low on exp and ended up getting so many random nodes for food and shit I hit the daily cap
Thats a pretty good set besides that goblet

You can do 100 spots per day and once you leave the zone the remaining ones go away, that counts for food/ore spots too so yeah, you need to selectively avoid the non artifact ones. Doing this daily requires a very detailed guide or a mix of trial and error + memorization. Also using +50 pins to mark the places.

I used guide to optimize mine but there is some stuff i dont follow (single artifacts far away from warp waste too much time) and it's missing the islands post 2.0.

I get exactly 57 spots in lyue, then count up to 98-99 inazuma and finish with the seirai island boat (+15 artifact and a bunch of food). Sounds stressful but it becomes routine once you're used to it, easier if you're listening to a podcast or something.

The next update will add the enkanomyia islands which seems like a fairly large zone and hopefully with more artifact spots.

Hopefully this means we'll finally get past 200 artifact spots so it's possibleto rotate between a pair of 100s and not worry about clock timers. While simple as it gets, forcing myself to think "I farmed artifacts at 15:00 today, i NEED to login 15:05 tomorrow!" is rather stressful. I dont recommend anyone to care too much, no need to do this everyday.

And thanks, i'd love to get a better one but a good goblet with the element you want is pratically impossible to farm...

Alternatively you could spend 3 minutes in the artifact domain

>If you farm artifacts spots, you can save resin you would've spent in artifact domains to use elsewhere
>Alternetively, you could simply use resin in artifact domains

Indeed.

Altho at least from my experience, with Kaeya + sayu + anemo + aloy (to kill birds while at it) and everything memorized, it usually takes 30-40 minutes for me (while listening to a podcast or video), which i dont mind since i have to wait 30 minutes to forge ore anyway. Then it's just killing 3-4 bosses, dailies and leave. If i'm tired or bored i just dont do it for the day.

Of course, it's still boring and time consuming but it's legit the most beneficial thing one can do without resin, the second being mining cristals. If you're high AR, already setup and with resources to spare then it wont help much but if you're AR35-45, you'll be thankful later (especially when leveling 5* weapons).

the game doesn't really give enough domain artifacts to fodder in the first place tbh, i struggle from not having enough to level 16 an artifact even after a day's worth of runs, and even with the bonus enchantments i've only barely reached 19 before. though i do save some 4* artifacts that could be useful on a support or something

I'd rather just wait for resin to replenish than go around collecting virtual trash for an hour. But if you feel like GI is not grindy enough then you do you.

I may not be rolling for him, but damn Itto may have surpassed Zhongli to become my 2nd favorite character in this game. This guy's just a chad compared to other Geo users, plus his back story (I only seen the backstory cartoon) is nice. I've heard Inazuma has shit storylines for most of it's characters.

For a decent boost in artifact exp you can spend some time in the Teapot to build up your Trust level. I think around level 9 or so you get to buy potions of pure artifice exp. It works as a good, passive way to get more.

yeah i do use those, but to the level and amount of artifacts i use them for, a couple of those a week are just straight up not enough most of the time

itto's very fun from his test run too, animations are so good. haven't started his story quest yet but i'm hyped for when i can and i feel like he has more character than most of the inazuma cast

Yeah, I've heard Inazuma doesn't have good stories on any of it's characters, but Itto seems like he has great story. Plus, I love his personality. His playstyle seems nice for me too due to being too much of a Beidou main.

I've yet to play the test run (I've last played the game 3 hrs before the Albedo/Eula banner died to do my dailies). But I have to say I like Itto, even if I have no interest in going for him (I genuinely don't understand why they put Barbara & Xiangling on it, I have C0 on them & even then I feel Itto & even Gorou got done dirty).

Sooooo I got C1 Eula since I use her so much and I was right at the pity mark instead of waiting for Itto. Did a few pulls afterwards to shore up the other banner characters and got Qiqi after 19 pulls. Does the new set make Qiqi worthwhile at all?

Fun fact: Getting gold from teapot and buying artifacts from the 3 vendors is more efficient than buying raw artifact exp from realm depot.

360 coins -> 30k gold -> 15 x 2* arts -> 12600 xp
360 coins -> 1x sancfying essense -> 10.000 xp

The only problem is that artifact vendors are timegated so you cant do this often, but if you want to use realm coins on artifact xp, do this first for a bonus. It's also more efficient xp source than domains (30k gold is pretty cheap).

Either way, itto is looking like a really fun character, even if i'm not rolling for him. Sure, it's the generic "good hearted dumb delinquent" trope again but those are cool and i feel are more popular on the west. His story quest is also apparently super serious tale of oni prejudice lol.

One cool detail i saw online is that the tiny pyro vision you see on itto's demo is actually the fake vision yoimiya made on her quest, so it will never shine and nobody picked it, which is genius. It also means Itto is the last person to go get his vision back, which seems out of character. Maybe he's so "slow", he only realized days later.

Barbara hasnt got a rate up on like 8 patches and xiangling is there to convince meta players who dont want itto to do "just a few pulls" . They dont synergize well with itto and gorou tho. I'm glad with this banner tho cause i want some Fish cons so bad so thank god she's wasnt here.

Allegedly it's her best new set since it can hit 30k aoes with super conduct. I have her but didnt test the new set yet, but her problems are still there, lack of energy, long cds and fairly weak. If she stays on field, you need 3 strong subdps to actually kill things (albedo, beidou, xinqiu, raiden, fish, etc), if she's off field then you gotta stack ER and a cryo baterry so she can burst often as possible.
