Does it require a specific fish, spice level and does it work every time? For some reason i almost burned a medaka and it gave me +50 but then i almost burned the puffer and got only 20 and now i dont even know if the spice mattered.

It seems like there is at least 3 fish x 3 spice x 4 or 5 cook variations but with the thrash ones giving only 20, it sounds legit possible to not reach the goal in time. Weirdly, this might be the first webevent (i played) where you cant simply brute force win.

EDIT: From barely finishing floor 12 to 2* to now 4*. Time to put Diluc, Ayaka and bennet on 90.

In other unrelated news, i've done abyss floors 9,10 and 11 all in a row on my first try, which is a first for me. I know it's the same abyss that i did already but my units arent that much stronger (other than xinqiu being 80 now), i feel like i simply got better.

One of my main struggles in 11-1 is how the flowers get launched around so i miss my bursts or waste too much time running after them, but i learned to play around it. I have to use Diluc's burst when the flower is charging, so it gets stunned and dragged for max dmg. Then i have to play ayaka glued to the wall and throw the burst along the wall to get more value by hitting enemies in a small space (barbara's skill aint permafreezing shit).

Man, not having a character who CCs the entire room with one button really forces you to get good huh? Sounds cool, but i cant take this forever, can we please have venti+zongli after itto so i dont have to keep saving? 🙏 thanks.

EDIT: Ayo the new webevent gives 120 gems which is... low but it's better than the average webevent reward.

Actually if someone knows how to grill the fishes that give the most points pls tell me, i feel like i'm wasted a bunch of fish already and i couldnt find a guide online yet...

Its so weird how with other weapons they pair them with shitty filler weapons like Unforged, but this is the second time Staff of Homa has gotten a killer lineup. If I didn't have Homa I would roll on this and be happy with both Elegy or Homa (last banner it got WGS which is even competitive with Pines for the phys DPS characters)
 
New banner is up, an ingame friend of mine is really happy they got hu tao, they even told me that the ONLY reason they started genshin was because they love Hu Tao and Qiqi and now they're going to play both of them together (lol). It's nice to see people being happy for such small things.

Sorry for asking again but would be worth rolling 20-30 fates on the weapon for the miniscule chance of a sacrificial sword + the miracle potential 5*? I mean, at worst i get 2-3 rainslashers i guess? I have enough fates (130+) to guarante a 5* weapon but i wont even try since 75% chance is fucking bullshit and i want to have at least +100 fates saved.

Doesnt help that people hype the fuck out of homa. People online talk as if selling your house to buy one digital spear is a "good investment" or some shit, real gacha degeneracy.

You risk it for the chance.
First pity is likelier to be a non featured 5* Homa is nice when it falls into your lap but not quite needed since your chars have to be half dead to get the full benefits. Wait for standard banner PJWS.
That said, Sacrificial sword and bows are worth and highly coveted like a mid tier 5 star weapon. You can roll until the first pity to chance something good, or until the first sac sword. Not missing much doing so.
 
Rolled for Thoma, managed to get my first constellation for Hu Tao before getting a single copy of Thoma - least he showed up as a 3 of, so he’s got some boosts. Also yolo’d a 10 roll on the Weapon Banner, got a Staff of Homa first try - admittedly that banner is a scam, but I occasionally throw a roll there every once in a while, guess I finally hit pity.

Least Genshin is fairly generous giving Primo’s…

Same. I don't really need Hu Tao's constellations, but she's my favorite Genshin character and I was hoping to pick up something fun before I hibernate on the 2.3 banners.

The banner's still young though, hope we both get lucky.

so, heartwarming story:
a close friend of mine started playing way before the hutao banner, but didn't have any noteworthy characters, so they tried to reroll on banners they did want, making an account every time. 30 accounts on the keqing banner, and 40 on the first hutao banner. all that work to only get a diluc, so they gave up and went on to save for another character since they were guaranteed now anyways.

yesterday, a couple months later, they'd been saving for hu tao rerun for a while, so the dream should come true right? they got a qiqi.

so, seeing them depressed, i thought to make it a present to cheer them up since they had been working hard to get here, and got together some friends to get them up to guarantee, now they're rockin a very nice c1 tao. never give up folks, that's real dedication right there
