I'd argue that the little text messages you have with the characters in HSR are already going in that direction. As funny as they are, they are jarring.

nah, hoyo is known for being stingy. maybe with some actual competition they have put in some effort again.

I had to switch Loucha and Fu Xuan for Aventurine in AS because they were having issues. Like, he's E1 and couldn't keep up, and Fu Xuan was always on the brink of death. They even have issues in MoC. My E6 Gallagher does better and that's because the meta favors him. Some DPS also feel the pain, like who uses Seele?

They did Luocha dirty, remember when you could remove enemy buff's? Not anymore!!! (or ad least on two enemies)
Sometimes I ask myself if the path system should only do one and only job, Lingsha and Gallagher are perfect examples, yes they do heal, but they can also do break damage.

Doubt they gonna give Blade a rerun sooner or later, I don't think he's "the worst" but the lack of synergy pisses me off, he mostly benefits on Max HP and Lynx isn't the great as well.
So unless Hoyo is working on an Abundance or Harmony character that can increase max HP, Blade is still gonna be stuck in ok tier

I find that it's a solid "fine". Nothing stands out on either side of the quality spectrum. It started off pretty weak, but it does seem like the writers are trying to make it better, so for now I'll keep paying attention to the plot.

Blade doesn't text you in game, it's generally either Kafka or Silver Wolf using his phone instead. The cat cake thing was 100% Silver Wolf responding.

Not to mention the music. That's some good shit. I've mentioned somewhere in this thread before how it gives me Nier vibes. That's not the only reason but I do enjoy WuWas music very much.

And since this thread is already hoyoshit central, ZZZ's latest patch, completely barren as it was, made sure to add a ridiculous whalebait mode with 75 battles in a row without healing or resetting, no borrowing characters from friends, nothing.

You only get polychromes up to like level 15, something around 600 in total. Barely 4 wishes. Anyone completes SD7, they should be able to complete the tower up to level 15. Beside, you recruit entire agent cast again after every 5 levels, aka they are fully healed after at level 6, 11, 16 and so on.
The best thing in this patch is able to convert 4* drive disc crafting material into 5* drive disc version. Which means even more chance to craft the exact item/gear you want, getting closer to the "perfect" stat rolls.

Other than that, Harumasa might be giving away for free next patch second phase (take with a grain of salt). MHY did this once with Dr.Ratio release, Wuwa last patch with Xiangli Yao. It can be highly real and conveniently game will be released on Xbox. Miyabi will be on first banner.

Great! I'd be down for that. I'm already skipping Yanagi for Lighter since I lost my 50/50 on Burnice to the furry butler and I can't imagine grinding for Harumasa too.

1-The MC tries to kiss one of the girls mid combat who refuses since she's literally fighting and this upsets china (nevermind how out of character this is for him)
2-That girl spends too long talking with a different girl (girls talking to each other implies yuri CN sees as NTR)
3-One weapon description has the number 89 which reminds them of 1989 aka tianam square.
4-The numbers [01] are seen in stages, which CN theorizes is a reference to the only playable male character the game ever had that never left the beta ("01" was his nickname) because china hated him.
5-The female villain steps on the a random soldier and this upsets CN because it means she doesn't have "virgin feet" anymore (i am not kidding)

Unrelated but having done Changli and Yinlin and Zhenzhi and Shorekeeper quests (plus a throwaway line from Yangyang), it's been brought up to me in speculation if WuWa is slowly beginning to going down that route where every new female character is ready to eat the dick/vagina of Rover.

Nevermind the actual lore like with Changli and Yinlin who are actually very interesting characters in their own right, although Changli's story is dragged down by Rover blank-slating with her child-self.

I think WuWa has a long way to go in that regard though but I could do without the Rover asshole glazing. It annoyed me with how much they shoehorn romance with the female cast. Xiangli Yao being one exception as he's male if you read deep enough into it like I tried not to. Anyway, no Jiyan so I guess I'll just save my guarantee for Scar or something.

For gameplay wise, between average players rewards - fun and company revenue. As long as, it's more benefits to customers, then change (improvement) is a good thing.
For story writing, well gacha game that is. I mean devs need to stick their gun more imo and establishes clear what kind of audiences they want to have. Idk for Snowbreak, more appropriate competitors would be Nikke, Girls Frontline and/or Blue Archive, since all of these are different in their main genre. Rail shooter, turn based strategy and real time strategy/tuff of war thing. I don't even think upcoming anime waifu battle royale (Fate Trigger the Novita) and tacitcal shooter (Strinova) should considered be competitors as well.
Obviously pandering to Chinese incel waifuist is signing a suicide pact.
