I swear this game only gives me a 5-star when I'm not actively trying for any. I'm sure I'll somehow fluke into Ruan Mei and STILL miss her LC

Have both Furina and Sige this banner, late pity though, I'm satisfied with current team Navia (R1)-Furina-Sige-Chiori (C1).
I didn't notice that Sige has this 50% her total max HP in her last bubble bounce. So she probably doesn't even need healing bonus in Circlet slot. Also, bad habbit of switching character asap may hurts a bit, you need to pick water droplet as Sige herself. More energy regen to Sige and potential healing from her from picking them up.
Still I'm keeping healing bonus circlet, my Chiori needs it because she's using Harbinger of Dawn.

With max Furina C0 fanfare, a Chiori doll does like 1000-2000 damage per tick less to mono geo with Zhongli's pillar and Gorou having Noblesse Oblige set. But Furina buff last longer (18 sec vs 10sec) and also has damage from her summon. Technically, overall damage increase, that doesn't include potential bonus damage from Clam set.
Time to save until Nat-Pokemon-lan.

I did the trial for Siegwinne, can't stand her gameplay at all. She does not feel fun.

In other news, details of the looming level cap increase have been leaked. It will require a new ressource that is attainable only from spiral abyss. Talent level cap is also allegedly being raised, and it too will require the same spiral abyss material. It's going to take a long time to reach the new caps if you can only get materials once per abyss cycle.

Mihoyo pretty much sucked my dick and gave me Firefly, a second Firefly and Firefly's LC within 20 pulls. The new SU mode is pretty fun, if only because it gets stupidly broken very quickly.

I've been trying to get eidolons for Xueyi.I know it's bad practice to pull for 4*, but I have terrible luck with her, even if she's featured. Got Gepard to E3 from Firefly's banner and Xueyi to E5. Let's see if Firefly pops up before Xueyi does. Otherwise, my Jade is guaranteed with LC.

I think the best part of the new divergent universe is that you're allowed to bring everyone and they get level 8 talents and okayish relics for free that make them "viable enough" so you can totally use those units you kinda like but never bothered training.

This is not to say you can yolo win with anyone, especially on that harder mode (they nerfed Cirrus and removed final aventurine apparently) but if your blessings match you can switch to a more efficient user ay any moment.

Like, if you get freeze+follow up, then Yanqing becomes actually good. Or if you get a ton of nihility stuff you have a good excuse to try out Sampo and guinaifen. It's not perfect but it's a cool adition.

Got Ruan Mei going for Firefly now.
Only started playing Honkai a few days ago, but for me it plays better then Genshin.
All Gameplay Systems were improved compared to Genshin.

Got my RM, my prefarming let me get her to 10/10/10 with 249% BE and 146 speed. Going to switch to FF's banner, if I get her great. If not, not skin off my nuts.

Tried the new Genshin game mode, Imaginarium Theater. It's like Spiral Abyss, except with more RNG piled on top. Your roster is limited to certain elemental types. You start with six predetermined characters, and you have to fill out a supporting cast before you start. You need 18 supporting pyro, electro, or anemo characters just to start the hardest level. You can only use each character twice, and your supporting cast is randomly rotated into your active team as you clear each stage. You can buy extra characters between stages, but that's also based on RNG. I guess the idea is to force you to use characters people don't use much, like Faruzan or Xinyan... except the challenge doesn't seem to be balanced around middling characters with random team comps, since enemies are damage sponges with strict time limits. It's just a pain the ass, and I'm probably never going to bother with it again.

Anybody here tried it and actually liked it?

I mean, it’s alright, and if it means people can stop bitching about Genshin never getting End Game content for a bit I’m all for it.

I give it like, 5 minutes before they’re back to bitching because they can’t just brute force it with the usual Meta Comp - seriously, who gives a fuck about meta, its a single player game…

its a single player game…
A single player game that's main draw is fucking exploring the open world and doing story quests with optional co-op for resource grinding and some challenges. There's also the "gacha element" you'd think would be the MAIN part of the game going by what youtube video essayists and people like fucking jim sterling say about the game but no it really is just tacked on for extra character and some weapon unlocks. Also as long as you keep playing you should theoretically have at least 1 roll every other day at MINIMUM.

Bugs the shit out of me to no end when people find out I play this game and assume because of that I must like the gacha games where the gacha shit is built into everything. I genuinely gotta respect genshin for being a normal ass open world game with it's own unique stuff going on and a clear planned out story as lengthy and boring as some cutscenes can get. Doesn't seem like they've altered the game to cater specifically to whaling yet which I very much like. Only people I've seen complain abut shit being too hard or too easy are meta guys and it's like "oh it's too easy I spent 500 dollars on this for the RNG rolls for mild character constellation buffs it's pay to win!" or "oooh it's too unfair I paid 500 on the rng rolls for this but my meta loadout doesn't liquify the boss cearly they want me to whale more!" Bitch use your elemental combos and deal with the fact you picked the hardest difficulty. Most offensive are those that don't even play and just spend money and then blame the company for their own decisions.

i "liked" it, or about as much as you can enjoy another abyss style game mode. the elements being limited is ass and heavily restricts most good team comps far more than the semi-random characters do.

my big tip is that almost all the buffs are pretty useless. spend your currency exclusively on either recruiting more characters or restoring vigor on characters you've already used instead.

the biggest thing is that all the star challenges are completely optional. as far as i can tell, it's only for bragging rights because it shows up on your profile; as long as you clear each floor, you get full rewards, regardless of how well you did. i would definitely say it's worth going for if you want free primogems. even the hard mode is very doable since your only real goal is to not die while clearing the floor.

That's what I hate about the discussion online about gacha in general. There are now a good number of objectively good and fun gacha games. Especially compared to the AAA slop being released.

It's not my fault people who hate gacha are disingenuous and only play the throwaway cashgrabs to prove a false point. That's like buying a licensed platformer and complaining about the absence of rpg progression mechanics.

"Oh boy, a defense section, hopefully my pyro/anemo team doesn't have trouble with the enemies that generate a lot of dendro immediately around the defense point, and burn it to death."

Cool stuff.

Design-wise, I don't hate the idea of RNG team building with RNG bonus skills, but the execution needs work. Wuthering Waves has a similar game mode, and despite it also being pretty janky, it works way better. Mihoyo should have just returned the favor and stolen wholesale from them.

Well it's annoying because you're basically doing 2 or sometimes 3 character teams with filler. It's pretty easy right now, but if they increase the difficulty to a point where you have to try it won't be fun.
