So, while the Beta and Leaks have probably shown Dehya’s signature Claymore off, I’m obligated to ask - looking at this weapon, does it seem to address any of her many, many problems, be at least a bandaid, or would it be served better on any other Claymore user.

Also lul at that HP boost without Shields. They’re really regretting making Zhongli that good, aren’t they?

Also, I feel obligated to point out, 5 Star Weapons appear to be silently added to the Standard Gacha - that or I missed an announcement/the game bugged to shit, but I somehow pulled an Amos Bow from the Standard. Y’know, Ganyu’s Busted Bow.

Why the fuck can’t they do that with characters…

(Edit - I’ve been informed Amos Bow was always in Standard, so disregard. Point still stands about why are they not adding older Limited characters, they’re not able to do reruns fast enough as is…)

It certainly helps her, but her issues are more core to how she works rather than what numbers she can throw up.

• Her combo pushes people away, so does her skill
• Her skill applies pyro very slowly, too slowly to make efficient usage of
• Her burst doesn't trigger coordinated attacks

She's just clunky as fuck. Her kit is just sloppy.

Much as it pains me to agree with a Redditor, it’s kinda hilarious in a mundane sorta way how all the Dark Skinned characters have kits that’re either Clunky, or flat out bad.

It's her best sword by a huge margin, apparently it's like +20% stronger than WGS for her but her core issues are bigger than just low damage. This claymore is still pretty dang good and probably a little better than WGS on Diluc and Eula but worse on supports.

There are 2 of each type of 5* weapons on standard banner and the small chance of off banner weapon banner

Skyward sword + Aquila (The worst duo, even 4* swords are better)
Skyward spine + Jade spear (Good spears due to lack of decent f2p spears)
Skyward harp + amos bow (Harp is a great dps stick and amos pops off on ganyu but no one else)
Skyward Atlas + Lost Prayer (decent dps books but other than Wanderer is the only fun dps and Widsith is good enough)
Skyward pride + WGS (pride is better than prototype and WGS is universally good, even on supports)

AFAIK no new 5* weapon was added to standard gacha. I dont know what they're going to do with Tighnari's bow and Dehya's claymore since those 2 are never rerunning meaning they might never appear on weapon banner again since all banners are double banners now. Not even the bad filler weapons (lyue series) had chances to run.

Correction, her burst will actually take away her skill from the field and then put it again at the end of the burst but this will NOT RESET the skill duration. This might not sound so bad but on practice it's awful because since her skill doesnt proc during her burst, aka Dehya cant generate particles while bursting meaning she will have huge energy issues.

Unless they make some fontaine support that has god tier synergy with her, i have no idea what they were thinking with dehya. The files were already datamined and it appears she had no numerical changes so if her ICD is the same, she's gonna be bad.

Either she’s set up entirely for Fontaine to break, she’s purposefully bad to fuck with the leakers, or she’s purposefully bad because “China doesn’t like darkies”.

I’m still rolling for her, but I’m pretty upfront about being Waifu > Meta. Besides, it’s relatively easy enough for me to save up 90 Wishes in a patch so I’m guaranteed to hit Pity Wishing for her.

This was leaked for a while but i forgot to mention here. I believe it gives around 22 fates if you do all the story quests up to this point.

Eh - my logic is that if I don't grab her on what's likely to be her only Rate Up, the odds of me ever getting her from Standard or lost 50/50's are drastically lowered.

Besides - I already have both Shenhe and Ayaka, so the second banner wave isn't as important for me. Mika is a nice bonus, but as a 4* I'll have more chances to nab him. Though why he isn't on a Eula banner baffles me...

I'd believe this. He was the first 2 5* I pulled. Once as just straight up Standard banner, and once when I lost 50/50 on Raiden. Don't even like Dendro or archers.

it's bias, I think I pulled like three 5* out of the standard banner/lost coinflips, none of them were tighnari (I wish because the game keeps fucking giving me dilucs). also no kuki/candace I'm still missing (dori is the 4* version of the dilucs in my case)...

worse 2 of those are chars which are in the store, and bennett works fine at 0. it's complete waste to roll on that banner for the 4*.

EDIT: fucking reddit also reminded me barb/collei are free chars, which makes this even more offensive, and it should've been at least candace in there somewhere.
tempted to not roll because fuck that's some intentionally shit banner. maybe I'll wait till the phase 2 banners are known and do a few pulls before then, but probably won't care anymore at that point and just save...

Ok, am I the only one who thinks that sounds retarded and would just fuck over the F2P’s? Yeah I know, company wants money, but Genshin has been remarkably F2P friendly for most if it’s content not named Abyss.

I’ve said it before - I’d hope for them adding a banner that rotates a Nation’s Limited Character Pool monthly rather than adding a third batch, because even if they were to do 3 two week banners per patch we’re going to reach a point where even that doesn’t rotate old characters in fast enough - hell, see Eula, we’re already there…

faster rotation would mean characters showing up sooner again (in theory) since you don't have 3 reruns per patch but 5 (+1 new 5*).
f2p would just have to deal with more FOMO, but since a skipped char would re-run sooner it would probably be fine for people with patience. trying to get 2+ 5* per patch was always highly luck dependent without savings.

Not sure about rate up Tighnari, all my 5* from standard banner so far. This was like ages ago, probably around November or something with C1 Keqing.


And my limited event banner. First Dehya roll was a guarantee from Yelan banner, Not really lucky on early pity.

At least, I have my first Fav lance with this Dehya roll, can't even get Collei C6 (c5 now)

For now, I have Dehya as EM build as 4th slot in Hyperbloom Barb-Nahi-Kuki. Technically, Dehya pyro application is bad, so you still generate enough seed to trigger Hyperbloom more than Burgeon, and mix with minor vape or overload.
Dehya lv 80 with 812 EM, 2pc Wanderer, 2pc Gilded Dream, lv 20 Rainslasher, with Deepwood Memory effects, can do like 19k ish damage per dendro core.

Since I don't have Wanderer, can't really testing out the whole Wander-Faru-Bennett-Dehya. Although, I'm not rushing this team, kinda waiting on Baizhu and testing out a Nilou comp. Kinda dreadful thinking about farming new team comp.


New Archon quest with Dainsleif feels much shorter than I expected, bit more lore but not really much moving plot forward.
Also, I start to notice many characters in this game have daddy issue in some way, except Scara more like mommy issue.

Oh goddamnit Hoyo - doing Dehya’s quest, turns out her Burst, which is just glorified melee attacks, doesn’t seem to work with Xingqiu’s Burst.

Not even the Liyue National Team is capable of slotting her in. How the fuck did they do my girl this dirty?

Glad I’m not the only one who thought this was a filler chapter. Like, they tried going for an emotional gut punch, but those only really work if we know the character for longer than 5 minutes (see Tepei - remember him? I probably spelt his name wrong - compared to Dunyarzad and see who people gave more of a shit about.)

Honestly at this point if there is a therapist anywhere in Tevyat, they’re either making a killing, or in need of their own therapist…
