Anyone here has more information on the shitshow that is happening because chink gacha gaymers are so mentally ill (like anyone emotionally invested in gacha crap) because they are afraid 3d renders of twinks will destroy their yuri fantasies?
threads in 4chan about gacha gaymes are one of the few somewhat entertaining things in the site even if only due to the involuntary comedy resulting from how mentally ill waifufags are.

So, I've been pretty hot on the pulse of the Wuthering Waves release (WuWa), as I am currently playing, and enjoying it as well as being a long time player of Genshin Impact.

I truly do not know if this is just a mental illness post on 4chan, because the WuWa launch has been so mired with controversy (bad optimisation, incorrect translations on gacha items, bulk cc'ing customers on support emails reminiscent of Fallout 76, just to name a few) that this simply could have been lost in the landslide of other bad things being published about the release.

For the most part, what I have seen, there has been no pushback about the guys in WuWa, and all the women in the game basically fall over each other to gush over the MC. Revenue it is too early to tell, from what I know, Kuro's other gacha Punishing Gray Raven (tried it for a month, wasn't my thing) the guys seem pretty well received there?

Genshin Impact males, as far as I know are very popular, particularly Zhongli (China Incarnate), Kazuha and Neuvillette are incredibly popular meta characters.

I think you would find much more man hate in the more COOMER centric games (GFL2 recently had some incredibly massive drama around an NPC cucking them, causing the devs to rewrite the parts of the game this story line took place in lmao), Genshin and WuWa are made to be more appealing to the masses, so I don't think the penis havers are causing big issues, and from my experience, women are not shy about throwing their cash around in gachas, the biggest whales I've met IRL were women and convinced me to try out the genre in the first place.

So I guess what I'm saying is that, having like...20 percent of it's roster being men (WuWa) is not the problem, the game needed about another 6 months in the oven and just released in a buggy state, causing low sales. It's still very fun, and I'll stick with it, but it's obvious to anyone with a functioning brain cell why it's not making Mihoyo money, and it's not because virgins feel threatened by the male cast.

Seriously, look at any gacha revenue charts, it's always Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail at the top, and mogging the competition usually by a cute 10-20 mil. Both of those games having an extensive male cast, heck, Genshin is even having a double male banner at the moment.

Anyway, look up the GFL2 Daiyan situation if you want to laugh at an insane and deranged meltdown from incel Chinese gamers.

I buy the cheap version of the battle pass here and there if I figure I am going to play a decent amount for that patch and will be able to complete it. I don't whale out, I don't roll for every character, I don't roll for weapons, I don't go for dupes for characters.

I can say with 100 percent certainty that I have spent more on WoW and LoL during my teens and early 20s BEFORE they had cash shops (in the case of WoW), battle passes, whatever present day monetization is common, etc.

Atsu/AsianGuyStream, who was involved in some major Genshin CC drama back in February, released a 34 page Google document announcing his retirement from the community, saying that false accusations by Braxophone and Tectone have ruined his CC career, ruined his marriage, and caused him to attempt suicide on three separate occasions. The document goes into detail about his side of the story about the allegations, while also calling out dozens of Genshin content creators, alongside other major content creators like Asmongold and SomeOrdinaryGamers, for stabbing him in the back and pushing lies against him for clout and views.

TL;DR
  • Back in February, Genshin content creator Braxophone, alleged that Atsu was badmouthing him to Hoyoverse devs and was gatekeeping certain content creators that he didn't personally like from being sponsored from Hoyoverse.
  • Atsu responded that while he occasionally made recommendations to Hoyoverse about who to sponsor for certain events, he could not physically control who Hoyoverse sponsored and pointing out that the idea that a small content creator can control the business decisions of a multi-billion dollar company is fucking retarded.
  • Braxophone, alongside Genshin content creator and dramacow Tectone, start pushing the narrative that Atsu was some mafia boss who had the power to directly blacklist or get contracts for any content creator based on his own personal opinion of them. This narrative was then amplified uncritically by many creators in Tectone's circle, alongside other drama channels like Asmongold and Pootahar from SomeOrdinaryGamers, who then tag-teamed Atsu for clout.
  • Because the Genshin Impact community lacks any critical thinking ability, they sided with the bigger content creators like Tectone, Asmongold, and Pootahar, ruining Atsu's career and causing him to attempt suicide twice.
  • On top of this, Atsu's wife Nekkopii was having an affair, possibly as a result of stress from the drama, driving Atsu to attempt suicide a third time.
  • The document ends with Atsu calling out dozens of different content creators in the Genshin Impact community, alongside other well-known content creators like Asmongold and Pootahar for siding with Tectone and Braxophone as they were libeling him.
Atsu's Google document currently is sitting at over 3 million views only five hours after it was posted.

 
When I saw the words "major drama" and "Genshin" in Community Happenings 2, I rushed into this thread hoping that Nikolas Marshall Talbott and his pedophilic ilk were all arrested and sentenced to death. Needless to say, I'm disappointed.

Atsu mostly called out Tectone and Braxophone, who were the major creators pushing allegations that Atsu was gatekeeping creators from getting sponsored by Hoyoverse and ruining his career. However, nearly every single Genshin Impact content creator is mentioned in some way or another, as well as Asmongold and Mutahar also being called out for inviting Tectone onto his stream and allowing him to push his bullshit without getting Atsu's side of the story.

Every single Genshin content creator is either faggot or degenerate. If there's a content creator that's neither, that would be VERY surprising.

if its the stream I remember, asmon had atsu on stream first and had said something along the lines that there was no proof that atsu could blacklist anyone, pretty much agreeing and taking atsus side. The thing a number of others have said is there is no proof that he could blacklist and there is no proof he couldnt blacklist.

edit after getting off work. atsu was on stream with asmon for a good while, then mtash joined the call after a while, then tectone joined. not going to rewatch the whole thing because its a 3 hour vid.

tldw asmongold said that there isnt proof for things that happened with atsu or tectone and people should leave it there.
