Signora died because standard red herring big bad villain shit. if it was the CCP they'd have just removed her entirely lmao. Fanbase is throwing a shitfit cause a character actually died. She's probably still going to be playable at some point but whether it's some magic mumbo jumbo revival/redemption arc reason or fatui tampering with the essence of life itself who the fuck knows. I just know it's probably gonna happen and it's gonna drive all these assmad bastards into some sorta complex.
I think it's because too much shit happened too fast. [SPOILERS, if somebody gives a damn]After all this time we go to the new island, traverse it in a straight line to the Sangonomiya, now, suddenly, we're a captain of Kokomi's spechial gay-ops squad, so we go at the nearby place and bonk some samurai to bonk samurai two more times. Then we go to the previous island to activate three random pillars and bonk random big hillichurl. From now we learn, that fatui are just giving away their pirate visions with integrated bitcoin miners like it's free candy. From now on we don't do any more gay ops on the behalf of Kokomi. We do domain and our prize is to look at Scaramouche for 30 seconds. Then fox woman drops some exposition. Long story short, we need to do a gay op to distract ACABs, while ninjas steal some intelligence(no, we don't participate or see any of it), according to fox woman's keikaku. Bird woman isn't liking intelligence we got, so she runs to screech at her superior, because he's a busta. We beat a few people, and she runs to shogun, beating the shit out of every palace guard on the way, for some reason. We ran after her, and after entering palace we see her on the floor. Signora seemingly smacked her down. She's there for some reason. Long story short MC challenges her for a court duel, which she accepts, because she wants to show us who's boss of this gym. You can guess how it goes, and shogun desintegrates her, because court duels have thunderdome rules.
Thing is, this takes like 2-3 hours, if you just do the main story. And Signora just pops up to die immediately. She doesn't even do anything through the Inazuma storyline. That's why people are upset, I think.
