I tried watching a week or two into Kevin Owens but it was like, Seamus and HHH and other worthless shit so fuck it there's pro wrestling I can watch instead.

I watch the PPVs and parts of RAW that seems interesting/include stars I want to see. Makes it more enjoyable.

Beast in the East was overall enjoyable. This non-Kevin Dunn produced show was a lot better than anything the beaver tooth club has put together camera and ring miccing vise in a long time.

Also, Cole without Vince in his ear was legit.

Jericho/Neville and Owens/Balor were good. I didn't watch the main event, though. Brock was a good squash.Nikki Bella is a lot better than she used to be, but she still sucks.
 
Skipped the Diva's match and main event. Just not interested.

I don't understand the decision to have Jericho go over Neville. I thought the WWE was starting to learn the value in building up new stars.
A frustrating ending to a solid opener, awash with Neville's standard high spots and pleasingly innovative wrestling.

Brock demolishing Kofi was enjoyable enough, but bizarre booking. I really do love watching The Beast taking people apart, so I'll forgive it.

I'm pleased they allowed a good portion of time for the NXT title match. Owens and Balor put on a solid, if unspectacular bout, but I rather found my attention drifting throughout. I've seen both men work at a much higher pace before, and although I wouldn't quite I was disappointed by the match, I expected better.
I hope Balor holds on to the title for a good long while though. Lest it become as devalued as the Intercontinental strap.
 
If they made a habit of doing oddball shit like international house shows more often I might consider getting the network.

I used to think how I'd enjoy watching all the b and c content from Thunders and Saturday nights because back in the day I mostly watched only Nitro, but I haven't heard anything about them even getting much Nitro up.

According to the numbers the old stuff doesn't draw on the network. The most watched stuff is the live specials, nxt and documentaries. So WWE not releasing old stuff at breakneck speed is kinda logical I guess.

On another topic: Sakuraba vs Shibata from a few hours ago is most likely Match of the year. I have a hard time thinking of a match that can top it in pure goodness.

It's still technically a house show, so whoever gets cheered goes over. They put Jericho over Neville in Japan because the fans there were solidly behind him.

Brock's match is the same way: he took a house show booking in Japan that didn't count as one of his appearance dates in his contract because he was going to Japan and wanted to write off his travel expenses as business-related. They booked him against Kofi because Kofi was there.
