SUFFERIN SUCCOTASH

I know NXT has a little bit moved away from the joke gimmicks, but a tumblr stable would work great there. One's otherkin, one's got headmates, one's tucute. Unfortunately with the crowd at Full Sail they'd have to be babyfaces.

Michinoku pro (Japan's third oldest active company) is holding a special show next month. How special? It takes place inside one of the Tokyo commuter trains as it is running.

I hope it is taped so I can watch it.

I'm actually excited for a Wyatt/Reigns feud. Three reasons:

1) Bray finally has a wrasslin-related motivation. Roman stole his spot in the ladder match, so he's getting some revenge. Everybody can understand that, even if they don't agree. I love the mythology he's built for the character, but Bray also needs to connect to the lowest common denominator who probably think Samael is a brand of Mexican limescale remover.

2) Got to say that when he leaned into the camera and said "anyone but you, Roman", it kind of resonated with me. I'm sure I wasn't the only one. Like with Kevin Owens dropping some home truths on Cena, having Bray tell Roman exactly what a certain subset of the audience thinks of the Big Dog is an effective way to tap into Bray's natural base.

3) I can keep dreaming of a reformed Wyatts vs a reformed Shield.

Saw this on /wooo/'s lucha night

Bret Hart gave an SI interview where he says he's pretty certain Bryan's finished.

The worst part is I agree with him. Bryan was out with something that risked ending his career, and the first thing he does when he gets back is take crazier bumps than anyone on the roster. That's not an encouraging sign.

And now, the big rumor is that Dolph Ziggler is basically saying to the WWE "If you don't give me a big push right now, I'm not resigning when my contract is up in a few months".

While I'm certainly of the mindset that WM30 was the best ending anybody could want for a wrestling career, how many years are we since Angle was doomed to die by the next moonsault?

Maybe he can convince the indie scene that selling like you got hit by a cattle prod is some sort of flippy spot.

Really, he shouldn't resign.

Hell, he should've left awhile ago. Guys like him and Barrett have been damaged so badly during their time in WWE. If this were the 80s, they'd be at Red Rooster levels. At least nowadays if they leave enough people know about the way things work backstage to at least attempt pretending they never saw these guys get repeatedly covered in poop or job to R-Truth.

Using Kurt Angle as an example for health is like using Chris Benoit as an example for family values.

I'm not saying he's an example of wise choices, but hasn't Kurt been "clearly about to die" from random speculators like Bret Hart for about a decade or so?

Considering that Kurt Angle is pretty much being held together by tape and glue at this point, and that, if you believe reports, he's one big bump away from crippling himself...

Not to mention the only way Angle's been able to soldier on is by doing enough drugs to kill a 70s rocker. I'd rather Daniel Bryan be retired, clean, and safe than active, doped, and addled any day.

Besides, there's always people who defy expectations. Lemmy Kilmister and Christopher Hitchens spent over five decades violating medical advice. That doesn't mean an ordinary person should drink a bottle of whiskey a day and expect things to work out.

Hitch and Lemmy also didn't have to take bumps. Bryan and Angle actively take the most dangerous bumps they can.

I'm telling you, at the rate Angle is going, one night, he'll do his moonsault onto someone, and simply disintegrate into a pile of dust with how much he's basically being held together in his injury riddled state...

Well, word on the street is Dolph has re-signed.

In other news, I suggest the Steve Austin podcast. Some good shoot interviews, interesting stories, just a fun podcast.

I agree it's a good podcast, there is also http://podcastone.com/Steve-Austin-Show-Clean which isn't the censored version but actually different episodes.

The episode where he went into depth about how he bladed himself during a PPV makes me wish WWE would put alternative commentaries on their network. (I think it was this episode)
