After Jace ended last night I caught a bit of Raw. Looks like the power of BIZARRE is too much for the younger brother and now Stardust has taken over Cody. Neat. Hope they stick with this as a story instead of wandering off from it.

Last night's Raw was actually pretty good, and I'm really excited for NXT Takeover tomorrow. Plus with Lucha Underground being good, iMPACT Wrestling getting better, and New Japan being fantastic I feel like we are going into a global wrestling boom. If not financially, at least creative/in-ring quality wise that is.

I like how the WWE talked shit about WCW for damn near a decade and talked about how shitty Nitro is and now they are expecting people to watch Nitro on the WWE Network.

Well, that's also why their initial plan for a brand extension (one of the shows to become WCW) failed. That's not the only way WWE's programming of its audience has blown up in its face lately. They spend years telling people "the Rock is a bad guy, he left and came back and expects you to like him. John Cena's a good guy, he was here the whole time." Then Batista comes back and they expect people to cheer him over the hottest face in the company.

They've ingrained into their audience arguably since Shawn and Bret but definitely in the past few years that "high-card face" means "fiery workhorse who can elevate other people" which is something that guys like Cena, Orton, Bryan, Punk, Ziggler, ect can do. Now they want to push Reigns, a guy who has to be carried, to the very top of the card based on his look and the crowd is rejecting him because they're expecting him to be on the level of these other guys.

So at the end of Raw, Reigns stole a pin from Bryan and hit a spear on him. Kind of heelish. At the Smackdown taping, Bryan keeps the Yes Lock on one of the Usos after they've tapped out, and Reigns pulls him away. Now DB is doing something heel-like.

Are they just teasing a turn from both guys to keep their options open?

Tbh you kinda don't need to know it to live there. English is mandatory in school.

Yeah a JET teacher not habla-ing the nihongos is pretty normal.

Anyone see the latest NXT Takeover?

Pretty damn good, in my opinion. Maybe not quite the same level as the previous show but still really fun.

I thought it was even better. The women's match was excellent. I thought the tag match sucked. It was horrible. It was like Total Divas terrible. I was expecting Kalisto to get covered facing the mat.
