How could fans figure that out when she was literally in AEW for less than ten minutes?
Ronda Rousey also highlighted that she enjoys AEW’s less restrictive, non-PG environment compared to WWE, saying it allows her to express herself more freely, have fun with her friend, and feel less restricted or “edited,” which made the overall experience enjoyable.

“And one thing I really love about AEW is that it’s not PG like WWE. So I can walk in there and flick everybody off and walk out and laugh with my best friend and have a great time. I didn’t feel as edited as before. So yeah, it was a good time.”

According to Rousey, she often felt like she was acting out a version of herself that wasn’t authentic in WWE.

“I felt like I was doing somebody else’s impression of myself. You can tell when I was allowed to write my own promos and when I wasn’t, you know, and I learned a lot from it. And I really enjoyed my time in the ring. I didn’t really enjoy being under the death throes of Vince McMahon’s reign, but there were a lot of great experiences in there.”

I didn't think anything could be any gayer then when the camera zooms in and Joe Hendry is doing that retarded ass smile, but now his new thing is to have the camera zoom in and make a constipated looking tough guy face and it makes me audibly moan out of cringe every time I see that shit.
Edit: That was a legit goodbye from Asuka and I'm ngl, that fucking bummed me out. :'(

WWWWWELL IT'S THE NIG SHOOOW!
I still don't understand the Oba Femi hype. He has a limited move set, his promos suck, he's just "Big nigger is big and dances" and that doesn't work for me, brother.

HHH: Look at my nig!
My nig is amazing!
Feed him a pin!
(It tastes just like corn starch!)
I just don't get it. Big nigger dances down to ring, can barely cut a fucking promo, has a 2 minute match where he throws his opponent around because that's literally all he can do in the ring, 1 2 3, the crowd cheers. Whoopty shit.
Sol Ruca vs Iyo impressed me more than anything else tonight. My girlfriend called it right at the beginning of the night she goes "I bet this ends with FAT-YOU doing that stupid little throat grab to Roman and everybody pretends like they can't get him off of him for 10 minutes" and she was fucking spot on.

Fuuuuuuuuccckkk I forgot all about Turbotard
I didn't and I remember he too like Danhausen got MEGA over with the fans for the time, they brought back The Rock this was 2004 mind you to do segments with him and they set up a feud with Evolution and had him teaming with Benoit in tag matches when he had the big gold but as quick as he got over his routine got stale and the fans were going meh because where else could he go?

Make sure you watch about 10 minutes before the match starts because Asuka said goodbye to Iyo and it legitimately felt like it was the last time we were going to see her in WWE.
It most likely was. Internal sources say she's listed as semi-retired on the internal roster sheets, and that that is likely highly optimistic and she's done.

I hope she's done with WWE and not wrestling. I would love to see her final match be against Kairi, because we've all waited so long to see it.

I'd love to see her take a final lap, but given how she pretty much has beef with every promotion in Japan, not much chance of that. If the rumours about Kairi are true, maybe we might get to see them square off in AEW if Kana is done with WWE, but there is also talk she is going back to Japan to deal with a family situation that may mean she's never wrestling again.

I would never completely count her out because if Mio can come back and do limited dates after that kind of injury, anything is possible.
I mean for Christ's sake, Tony paid a guy who's entire gimmick was spinning pizza dough around, I don't think that he would mind going out of pocket for a one night only Joshi dream match two decades in the making between Kairi and Kana.
Knowing how smart he is to Japanese wrestling it wouldn't surprise me if he paid Mio to be the guest referee as well.

It isn't an injury situation, so it isn't that simple.

I'd love nothing more than for her to get a chance to go all out for at least one match in North America, her Japanese work was amazing. Her mixed tag with Naomichi Marufuchi vs Shida and Suzuki was insanity. Actually, all Kana's matches with Shida as opponent or partner were great, and I wish we could see more if things go the right way.

The way Cole awkwardly said Asuka's leaving (the arena) makes me think they will try to make her stay by throwing a complementary bag of peanuts to compensate the 50% cut.

If she actually took that 50% pay cut and is staying with WWE, she might as well change her name from Asuka too "A-Sucker"

Yeah, I've only seen clips of him on Reddit but I feel like that's enough to get his entire thing. Big guy that can only do a handful of moves. That has a really short shelf life because people will eventually lose interest in him burying jobbers every week.

Speaking of jobbers, it appears Rusev only had a problem laying down for AEW talent because all he has done since coming back to WWE is lose. Him and Black greatly overestimated their position in the general landscape of wrestling.

Yeah but the difference with Rusev is that he can actually move for a big man. Oba spams the same two or three moves and his matches last 90 seconds. They actually had him beating up fake security guards and referees this week. Mark my words they're going to make him like another big show where he just becomes a comedy type guy because he's so limited in the ring.
Rusev might be a job guy but he had a four way last week with Penta, Ethan Page and Jevon Evans and it was a great match. Everybody was able to get their shit in, including Rusev who was doing the big guy power moves but also doing the athletic high spots.
He and Page picked up the W and a new bad guy alliance has been formed. I think what they're doing with Ethan and Rusev alluding to their past and aew is much more interesting than "Dancing nigger squashes nobodies in under a minute because he doesn't know any moves".
