I remember her from LFG. Mrs. Gabbiani would refer to her as 'that Goro-looking bitch'. I remember Taker took a shine to her because of her look and she seemed freaky strong for a woman (her finisher looked ridiculous).

Hopefully shit turns out better for her than some of the other LFG fails. Only thing I remember was all the obvious worked shoots and Sirena's Bronco Buster-variant. If she had made it further into NXT Booker would have been creaming harder than he did for the Devil's Kiss.

So this is what the NWA has turned into. Granted the title hasn't meant shit since Shane Douglas threw it in the garbage, hell probably not since the 80s.
Let Cornette get wind of this and go off on Effy. Then let Effy get wind of that and send his gay mafia after Corny.

With WWE's bizarre stock structure, for all intents and purposes it was one rich man's plaything even after going public.

Vince controlled virtually all voting shares, and nobody outside his inner circle could buy voting shares.
Not defending Vince by any means here, but the crucial difference is Vince got rich from wrestling. None of the others did. He wasn't a billionaire who bought a wrestling company, he was a wrestling guy who became a billionaire.

Little fun fact about the Golga character the original plan was for him to wear a sack with a large foam lump in it but it kept shifting around and it was hot and hard to wrestle in so they switched to the leather gimp mask instead also if I remember right they tried to kayfabe the lump with the character pointing out that it was in one place a minute ago now it's somewhere else.

Former WCW owner Ted Turner died, he was 87 years old. Rare case of a rich businessman who was an actual wrestling fan taking over a promotion. Nobody was able to get under Vince's skin like he could.

Also, a man who was an actual businessman who turned a profit, unlike Tony who's budget comes from his rich pop. It might be the bias of rose tinted glasses but I respect Ted for taking on the cost, even when WCW's profits were in the toilet, just for his love and respect for wrestling.

Damn man, RIP. Many a night as a child in the 90's flipping back and forth between WWF and WCW because you didn't want to miss as much as you could. We were never starved for entertainment in wrestling when Vince and Ted were at each other's throats. Thanks for the memories Ted.

Wow, I have no words. Speechless.

RIP Billionaire Ted

It's hard to imagine what a world would look like without WCW, but it would be a much worse world for wrestling. Despite all of its issues, WCW gave us a lot of entertaining and fun moments that even to this day we still remember.

Rest easy to one of the greats. A true outlaw maverick who did shit his way. Impossible not to respect that.

Holy fuck you weren't kidding about whatever that thing was that appeared on NXT. With a company that's obsessed with looks, how did THIS make the cut?

Same with this fat motherfucker who appeared at the end of the show. We need to shut down NXT until we can figure out what is going on.

Quincy Elliot would like a word.

(They'll probably get released before they get to main roster, I'm not worried)

I was rather surprised (but not really that much) when my normal life of political shit during the day crossed over with wrasslin slightly more than usual when Sekulow (the ACLJ's show, they argue things at the supreme court fairly often and were cited in the Dobbs decision) they were covering the death of the founder of the 24 hour News Cycle by getting Eric Bischoff on the phone

Well after a Google search, this turned out kinda sad. It's not a tranny, it's an actual woman.

"Bayley Humphrey (Myka Lockwood) has a rare, inherited genetic condition called familial partial lipodystrophy. This metabolic disorder causes selective fat loss in the arms, legs, and hips—leading to a very muscular appearance in those areas—while causing fat to accumulate in the face and neck."

So she's the inverse of those obese black chicks with the gorgeous faces. She's the worst case of butterface I've ever seen. She's gotta be a DEI hire.

She looks somewhat normal in this older pic, but in the above pics from NXT, she looks like a fucking mongoloid.
