Since Danhausen is on the tip of everyone's tongues in regards to comedy wrestlers just out of curiosity who's on you mugs Mount Rushmore of comedy wrestlers? For me it would be The BWO cause you cant have one without the others, Mr Wiggle Norman Smilay, Beetlejuice cause who else shoved their fist up Jeff Jarretts rectum that far before and finally Andy Kaufman who forty plus years later is still Jerry Lawlers most memorable feud.

I don't see him doing much besides being a C-show guy, but realistically, that's okay - not everyone needs to be a world champion. I feel like Santino and R-Truth did much broader humor that you didn't need to be a smark to get. A lot of the stuff I saw from Danhausen in AEW hinged on the idea that the audience knew who he was and that pointing at people meant they were cursed. They're going to have to train the WWE audience for it to work. Not saying it can't work.

They got Mr. Iguana and his puppet over, I don't think it's going to be that hard to get little kids to like Danhausen.

I always thought it was the wave of bloody as a motherfucker matches like the JBL/Guerrero bullrope match, the JBL/Cena I quit match, HBK/HHH Summerslam 02 and the Backlash 06 triple threat match and that's just blood on PPV's Smackdown and Raw had their share like Lesnar beating the dogsnot out of that one legged guy and headbutting the shit out of him or the rematch of Christian and Jericho after WM 20 with that chair spot on the throat. Benoit is the easy answer to the shift to PG but the writing was on the wall for awhile in the ring with sponsors and networks but also you had Linda running for congress and they wanted to clean up their act for any potential scrutiny.

The biggest issue with Danhausen is they had him just show up when they really needed to start him off speaking to introduce the character. That's where his comedy comes from, not looking like an undersized 60's era Batman villain.

A comedy Rushmore needs to include Toru Yano.

Me. I want him to have his retirement feud in the fed then proceed to become a manager. WWE desperately needs talkers who can elevate their talent. We used to have all sorts of managers in the golden age and now we have fucking Don Callis.
