LA Knight calling Trump a rapist and a pedophile was probably the fucking dumbest career suicide I've ever seen somebody commit.
He knows for a fact that these people are closely connected to the administration. Shit, Linda is the secretary of education. He basically just did the equivalent of walking into work and trashing the boss's family in front of the boss.
Be on the lookout for Gunther ending his career, never holding one of the big titles in WWE and Eli Drake going over to AEW to job out to Ricochet, if WWE doesn't own that name too. :story:

In response to this discovery, Virtual Basement said that the game "isn't dead", even though it's been at least 6 (?) years since the game was announced, and nothing has been shown of it yet:

Considering just how much of a wrestlers pay likely comes as a cut of their merch sales, you’d think more wrestlers would remember the words of Michael Jordan - Republicans buy shoes, too.

Then again considering the line between pro wrestler and lolcow is razor thin on a good day, seeing a wrestler shoot themself in the foot isn’t as surprising as it should be. Considering the sheer amount of head trauma some pick up, they’re the last fuckers I’d ever turn to for political takes regardless of side, Glenn Jacobs being the sole exception.

He's probably going to end up with AEW in a few years at this rate. I could see him being an unsigned indie wrestler as well, but as for now I'm counting down the days until his contract expires or TKO decides to fire him.

You know what? Maybe he's trying to get fired on purpose. He works for TKO, and they own UFC and WWE. Dana White is extremely good friends with Trump and the mcmahons are not only friends but Linda currently works in the administration.
I would imagine that if you are unhappy with your situation and ask to be released and they say no, the surefire way to get it would to be getting fired. I also think if he gets fired the non compete is void. I would imagine having Dana and Trips trashing you to TKO is the fastest way to get to that goal.
All he has to do now is offend Reed Hastings and get the trifecta.

Maybe if they would have waited a year to put the belt on her and let her finish her English lessons so I can understand her better on the mic, or if they would have given her better feuds or something. She's not clicking for me.

Vacquer is a prime example of a great wrestler who can’t adjust to the dumbed-down WWE style, especially in the women’s division.

There have been rumours that she regrets choosing WWE over AEW.

I'm not seeing anything great, just mediocre promos that she staggers over in English. She had to do her promo with Liv Morgan in Spanish through Dominic for fucks sake.
As far as her actual wrestling goes maybe they watered her down like they did to the joshi, but I severely doubt it. She's sloppy with everyone she gets into a ring with and her moves aren't very impressive.
Liv isn't a peak wrestler, but her spoiled little bitch character and the way she can cut a promo and her hilarious selling for her opponents mask that she's not an in ring technician. I understand that not everybody can be Charlotte Flair, but if you aren't at the top of being able to do shit in the ring, your acting ability better be great.
Vaquer has none of that. She comes out with a stern cake face which is laughable because of the cringe horns and dumb face paint, gets in the ring and gives a bathroom break tier match, and retains. Fucking BOO.
When WWE actually has me rooting for Raquel Rodriguez to take her title on a random Raw, that's bad. Bianca Belair is annoying as hell to me but I'm praying that she comes back and takes this title.

If they would trade Stephanie for Toni Storm, I would have no problem with that at all. Maybe I'm wrong and Stephanie has something that I'm just not seeing that you all are, and maybe it's because she's not a good fit in WWE but I just don't find any appeal in her.
Also did they whiten her up somehow? Because I've seen pictures of her online where she looks five shades darker. That would explain the cake face.

It's pretty crazy to think out of the Riott Squad she ended up being the biggest star. Or maybe not since it's WWE and Roman became the biggest star out of the SHIELD with 2 indie darlings, Liv is just the female version of that.

Honestly, in terms of hip hop, ICP is more genuine than Tupac and Bad Bunny (at least ICP actually admits they are just doing a gimmick when they perform)
 
Hopefully AEW puts the womens title on my girl Thekla tonight.

I like Statlander but she basically hasn't had a distinguishable character or given a decent promo since she became champ. They gave up on the entertaining semi-goofy gimmick with her once Best Friends stopped being a thing so she has just sort of been really good but also a bit boring since that.

Thekla rules. She seems to keep forgetting there are live mics around her during her matches and swears constantly, she sells her arse off and she'll start working real snug if she thinks the person she is in the ring with is able for it. The match last year where her and Aminata started kicking the shit out of each other because Aminata tried to big-time her was one of the most entertaining things the division produced in a long time.

Yeah I don't buy this for one second. Sounds like AEWtist cope.
Vaquer's current title reign sucks but she's had a rocket put on her in both NXT and on the main roster, even if they did rush her up to capitalize on her popularity.

Two women wrestlers I can see not being happy about choosing WWE over AEW are Blake Monroe/Mariah May and Giulia. Mariah always wanted to be in WWE but they're giving her shit to work with in NXT and it doesn't bode well for her future. I think her dyke feud with Toni in AEW was way too overindulgent, but at least it was over.
Giulia since being called up to the main roster has been completely nerfed, it's not even comparable to what she was doing in Japan or even in NXT where she was also nerfed quite a bit. I still think there's hope for Giulia if they can get her off of SmackDown and on Raw where she can work with the other Japanese women, but she doesn't seem to be a priority.
