It feel like you don't see a lot of dudes like Horace in wrestling anymore. Just a big hoss that can't wrestle very good, but he's so big and ugly, a smaller face going over him means something. You get a scattered one now like Strowman, but it used to feel like the rosters of both WCW and WWF were filled with those guys. I wonder where they all went.
For reference Horace was the size of Oba Femi.
You've still got guys like Lance Archer, Don Fale, Baron Corbin, Hikuleo, Oskar of KOB and there's a smattering in AJPW.
Part of it is that AEW wants spot monkeys not big hosses and WWE likely weeds out a lot of them in their development process because they want athletic guys, not big guys unless they're really freaking big, like billed around 7 foot big. And really freaking big is a very small segment of the population.
There's also the problem of where else can the big guys learn when the indies would rather have guys who can fake fight women?
